Great Decor & Vibe, but small spa
I loved the Morrocan vibe and decor at this spa. But the spa was too open and small in my opinion. The relaxation area opened out to the women's spa and entrance. It was a bit maze-like. Amenities were very lacking overall at the spa. But my hot stone massage was affordably priced and relaxing. I wish there was deeper pressure placed, but I should've expressed that during my session.

Theft from locker
y wallet was stolen from my locker at this spa, turning an otherwise below average experience into a terrible one. They have lockers with a code that you set yourself. Twice my code did not work when trying to open my locker. Both times the attendant had to open it with the "master" code. When I dressed following my massage I discovered that my wallet was missing along with all credit cards and $500 cash. Planet Hollywood security was called but informed me that nothing would come of reporting this theft since there were no cameras or witnesses in the locker room due to privacy issues. While I suspect an inside job, there is nothing I could do to prove it. I have read 2 other reviews on other sites reporting the same crime in the past. On a positive note, the manager handled the situation with professionalism and class. I was not charged for the massage. However, she promised I would receive a phone call the following week and I have yet to hear from the management. The spa facilities are below average at best with few places to recline and with bland decor. My massage was not exceptional but was relaxing. Despite this, they charge the same as other spas on the strip ($160 for one hour). I've been to several other spas on the strip and would suggest Mandalay or Caesars.

Mandara Spa at Planet Hollywood Las Vega
Simple Ambiance, good personnel & fitness center, OK service. I had combination of 3 services among them swedish message was really relaxing followed by Frangipani oil on body + hair/scalp therapy. However, the exfoliation scrub on body was not impressive or effective, reason being it is not only short but also without water (bcz they have to use the same bed for message so they ask you to take shower instead after just rubbing on you). The waiting area was uncomfortably cold compared to other spots of the spa which was humid and warm (after having hair wet I basically caught cold by sitting there for few minutes). The Chairs/couches in this area were not comfortable at all too + the variety of snacks/drinks were limited along with seating in other areas of the spa. Not many hangers for robes except in shower area (had to change two showers since they had drainage problems.) Steam room was burning hot that I & a lady scape there after 3 minutes, instead the jacuzzi was not warm enough. The robes were just too big, long and frumpy without any pockets to put some hair pins/personal belongings in. I had to pay a visit to my locker couple of times to fetch things, had the robe had pockets I wouldn't. 20% gratuity just too steep.

Good massage, nice atmosphere, fair prices.

Leftover from old Aladdin casino
I've been here three times. First time when the property was the Aladdin before being transformed to Planet Hollywood. It is the same facility. Very pleasant arrival area and friendly staff. The fitness facility has quality equipment and the spa services are standard and relaxing. It isn't a busy zoo and it is easy to book services. They do indeed sell many spa products but my wife and I bought some and we loved the body lotion for foot rubs at home, brought back memories of our day at the spa. I would recommend this place if you are staying on property. Vegas has many options, this is a decent option to consider.

Nice but needs help
The spa was nice but the waiting area for your treatment needs a lot of help. Chairs and couches in this area were not comfortable and the variety of snacks and drinks were very limited along with seating in other areas of the spa. My facial made up for all of these issues. Beware of the up sale of products. When you check in you will see a whole store full of products and they will make sure to tell you about a few-not pushy but can tell they have been told to sell.

Nice, quiet facility
I stopped in here without an appointment just to relax for a couple hours in the hot tub and steam room. Staff were welcoming. Facilities were clean and well-maintained, could use a facelift, though. Rather dated. All the usual amenities were provided, even though I did not book a service. Robes, lockers, drinks, snacks and lounge area. I used the hot tub, steam room and sauna - all were excellent. Although it's not fancy, it was just what i needed for the morning.

Good Spa
Planet Hollywood Spa was one of the first spa's I ever visited in Vegas. It's a solid spa, has nice spa rooms and amenities. Nothing over the top just a nice spa.

Services not as described in spa menu
I had a package that included 50 min massage, 25 min body polish, frangipani hair treatment and 25 min facial. The massage was just OK, definitely not good though. I do not think I got the frangipani treatment at all after re-reading the description, she did massage my scalp for a few minutes but there was nothing in my hair after wards. The body polish was the worst part. She rubbed a sticky gritty substance over my dry skin for max 5 min(should have been wet) then had me take a shower...finished. No lotion or anything afterwards. I complained and they told me the body butter was in the shower. It was not in the shower, and a 25 min treatment should have included rubbing the lotion in, not having a customer do it themselves. The facial was surprisingly very good though. I was pretty mad a left without stopping at the desk, they took it upon themselves to charge a gratuity to my credit card which I will be disputing.

Not relazing at all
Literally could not wait to have a nice relaxing massage after working for many days straight. The facility is clean, the massage therapist was really sweet however the entire time they sell their products like you're at the salon having your hair done. Ridiculous to pay that much for a non-relaxing massage. To be talked to and sold the entire time I had my message was distracting, I wanted to leave feeling refreshed and instead I left feeling completely taken. Also, the 50 minute message included the wait time to be called to the room which was almost 15 minutes. I didn't key into this until I was already dressed. They'll also have all the products they used on you already set out for you to purchase during the check out process. No one asked how my appointment was because I expected them to ask. As I was ready to walk away I told them how unhappy I was with the service, the sales pitch and their overall attitude. They then asked if I wanted to fill out a comment card. No apology, I do believe they get away with this since their clientele would be more transient. Save your money and get a massage at the airport, it would be better money spent for what you would expect.

would recommend
Overall a good experience. I went with 3 friends and we had booked online. There were no problems checking in and we were warmly welcomed. We were ushered in after a short wait, given robes and sandals and shown to the locker room. We were each given lockers with combination locks. The treatment was excellent, very professional and was not rushed. The treatment included a shower in a private room and again, we were encouraged not to rush. Afterwards we were invited to use the spa facilities at our leisure. Overall experience was very good. Cons would be no hair straightners available, and the slip covers on the seating in the waiting area were filthy. They should take more care to have this initial introduction to their spa be more clean as it left us a little leary as to what the rest of the spa was going to be like.

Pre-Wedding Relaxtion
I would recommend this spa to those who would like to relax in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. The welcoming customer service began on the phone prior to traveling to the city. I scheduled 2 massages the morning of my friend's wedding, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the service. We were able to ask all of our questions and had all answered to our satisfaction. I got a Swedish massage, and she got a hot stone massage and we were both very pleased. Prior to the massage, we spent time in the facilities, the jacuzzi and steam room. After, we spent time in the lounge, and we were able to truly relax before the big day. The service was excellent, and I have no complaints. We were also able to use the facilities later in the day after the wedding. I highly recommend this spa if traveling to Vegas.

We, my husband and I had a great experience. It was his first time have a hot stone massage, and he ready to go back. My massage therapist was friendly, yet didn't talk throughout the entire massage. It was a very relaxing, enjoyable experience.

Don't go here for your hair and makeup. I was going to a wedding and asked for my hair to have long loose curls and the stylist gave me tight curls that looked horrible. While getting my makeup done the Makeup person ran out of mascara and didn't open a new one. I had asked to have my eyelashes curled and she said that they lost the sponge from the eyelash curler, so she couldn't do it and she made it sound like this happened a long time ago. I was thinking to myself "Sephora is downstairs, why not spend 10 bucks and buy another one". She did a horrible job on my makeup as well. Little to no Mascara, bad foundation and she didn't have a clue how to put on eyemakeup. I paid $135 for horrible hair and $75 for horrible makeup. I will never be going there again.

Great Massage therapist
I thoroughly enjoyed my hot stone massage. My therapist listens to what I like and react accordingly. Was not able to enjoy all the ammenities since I had one of their late appointments. The facility looks a little tired though. Will definitely come back.
