A day of Pampering
My mother bought me a spa package and I loved the experience. The receptionist offered me a beverage and I was given white wine in a chilled glass. The massage was relaxing and she gave me a full hour, not 50 min that you receive at other places I have visited. The facial was amazing, she also sold me some fabulous Yonka product. The also gives a massage- her product smells fantastic. The Mani / pedi is wonderful- I did love the leg massage and she talked me into gel nails. The threader offered me a threading and my brows look great. I do hope I get more spa finders for Christmas to go back.

Eyelash extensions
This is not a review about the salon, it's in response to Linda, who wrote a notorious review about her experience. She walked in to the salon a week prior to her appt. to schedule an eyelash extension appointment. The receptionist never told her eyelash extensions were $85.00. We don't even have that price listed in our brochure or website. Cindy is an independent contractor and her eyelash extensions are priced at $160. She gave Linda a promo price of $120 which includes a touch up on her next visit. At the appointment, Cindy asked Laura how would she like her lashes to look, as in fullness and length. It ranges from short to long, and thin to thick. But that also depends on the clients eyelashes. This service is only an enhancement and is supposed to look natural and darker then your own natural lashes. The extensions are attached, one single strand to each of your own strand of lashes. You can not multiply the synthetic lashes on one strand to make it any fuller because it will damage the lashes. This procedure is very detailed, intricate and needs major concentration. Clients or technicians should not be having conversations while applying them on. Music is normally played while the client is closing their eyes and is a way to put them to sleep or relax. Cindy explained to the client that touch ups ranging from 2-4 weeks, but because this is a follow up from the initial set, she set an appointment for Laura to come back in 2 weeks. Laura called the day before her appointment and demanded her money back, because all of the lashes fell out the first week. We would have been completely happy to help her fix her concern, but she called in two weeks later canceling her touch up appointment and demanding refund. All of Cindy's clients are very happy with there results, and we can show a track record that clients are re-booking and returning for their fills. Please be realistic when you consider getting eyelash extensions. It's for enhancement, and cannot make your eyes look 10x better. We recommend wearing strip lashes if that's the look you are going for.

"Eyelash extension"
If your getting eyelash extension from Cindy let me tell you don't get them, not worth it! Cindy asked, 'so what do you want?' I responded, 'I want long, full and dramatic!' What I ended up getting was long thin FAKE looking lashes!Very unhappy! Take my advise don't get them! I was told $85 and then I was charged $120 + $20 tip, which I so regret given a tip! The lashes from Mac or any other store are way better! Cindy had no personality, never bothered to help me make a good decision on which lashes would be best for me. She doesn't care!
Response from Capelli International Day Spa & Salon
Linda, I apologize for your experience- we do strive to please our clients. Cindy usually gets great feedback, have you talked to Cindy regarding your experience? I did mention this to her and we do apologize.

Comfortable experience
I received a spa finder gift certificate from my daughter and discovered Capelli International Day Spa and Salon. The massage with Ann Marie was wonderful. I enjoyed my facial with Atsuko and my manicure/pedicure with Kim. The staff was friendly and I was offered wine during my visit. I will be back.

Good first experience
I visited Capelli for the first time yesterday for a hair cut and style. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and atmosphere. You are greeted like a family member and asked if you would like a drink. My hair stylist Florabeth was personable and with out input from me(my choice) gave me a new style my daughter just loves. They have custom scented candles that are just yummy and are made every week. They had gingerbread burning while I was there and were seeking input for additional flavors or smells. Although I did not have a massage the three clients leaving the massage room looked relaxed and were booking another visit. I will be back and thank you all for the good first visit.
