I went to the SPA for a bridal party massage. The person who arranged for the group was told $59 for everyone. However I had gone to the SPA prior for a couples massage, so I inform the receptionist when she ask me to complete paper work. She didn't tell me then that my price would be different due to this. After my massage when I was paying to leave the receptionist told me my charge is $90 because I have been their before for a massage. I ask to speak to the owner and inform him that this was not right because i wasn't told this before. He ranted on how everyone tries to trick and scam his business and he wasn't going to change the price and that I am like everyone else who tries to pay $59 knowing it was a one time trial deal. I explained that I wasn't trying to cheat him of anything but I wasn't prepared for that amount as I wasn't told that before. He continued to categorize me with his rude comments along with telling me he and his wife works 7 days a week and there is no profit in running a spa. He says everyone thinks he has money and wants to cheat him. I don't care if it's $29 for their service I would advise everyone to run from this SPA they are over priced and rude. The owner is a nasty prejudice male who has no customer service skills. DONT GO!!!!!!
The introductory rate, as was explained to the person who took over booking for the event you attended, is a promotion offered only to first-time clients. It is designed to give incentive for newcomers to try Lifestream’s services, as we are confident that once we get the opportunity to spoil our clients they will return. Such was the case with you, and we are glad you returned, but the fact that the information was not relayed through the party to you does not change our policies or rates – even if you try to convince our receptionist to change your name and information on a new intake form, as you did. Such is the case with all clients across the board, to claim prejudice is not only wildly inaccurate but slanderous and offensive, in that we pride ourselves in customer service and will accommodate nearly all client concerns – short of unwillingness to pay our staff for services rendered.
The entirety of the party had a wonderful time and was a great group we thoroughly enjoyed spoiling. It is unfortunate that your outstanding balance of $33 caused you to have such a negative opinion of us, especially since we take extra precaution to let our clients know our Introductory Rate is solely for first time clients.
