Facilities & AmenitiesThe Yoga Shala (Calgary) is dedicated to teaching the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga System as established by Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. We also offer several non-traditional classes. You can just drop in to the majority of our classes, and most are suitable for all levels. If you are brand new to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga, we recommend you start with one of our Introduction to Ashtanga 4 week courses. We have a lot of fun in these sessions which are full of information to help prepare you for our drop-in classes.Mysore-style classes are open to all students who wish to learn the Ashtanga Practice as it is taught in Mysore, India. This is an excellent opportunity for beginners to learn the practice of Ashtanga at their own pace, and with plenty of one on one guidance from a teacher.
