I inquired who was good with short, fine hair and did razor cuts. I made the appointment with the stylist I was directed to. I was in total shock when, in a matter of minutes, the stylist had taken a pair of thinning shears and went to work on my hair. I have uneven hair, now it is thinner then before, and no shape to it at all. I thought I was coming to a professional salon, I was wrong. The $45.00 I spent looks like I went to a sheep shearer. Caution, go to a salon and watch who you choose to do your hair before getting in the chair. Barbara 10:00 wednesday

I can't say enough about this salon. They are very professional and nice. I have super thick long hair and it has been very hard for me to find a stylist that knows how to cut and style my hair. My stylist there is marge and she is awesome. Can't say enough good things about her. She really knows her stuff when it comes to hair. She cuts and styles my hair just the way I want it. She even did mine and my wedding parties hair. And everyone said how beautiful we looked and what a great job she did. Will never go anywhere else. And I am so glad she is back:)

Very Bad Experience!
I moved to Daytona Beach from Atlanta. I was looking for a nice salon with experienced stylists. My first impression should have led me out the door as most of the stylists looked dirty, sloppy and very unkempt. I just wanted highlights for my root growth and brought in pictures. The stylist brought out a book of hair samples and told me to pick a color. Then started asking me about lift and strength and tone, etc. I had no idea what she was talking about! I've been getting my hair colored for years and never been given a hair sample book to choose a color! Well, she fried my hair. It was white blond on the ends and orangey/yellow at the roots. It was a total disaster. The owner and stylists insisted that it looked great! I called the owner the next day and the stylist and explained that my hair was falling out! The stylist said she would tone it ,but that was it. Anything else, and I had to pay again. I had already paid $180 which is very very overpriced for the salon, quality and service. I've been in some of the nicest salons in the Southeast. The owner refused to do anything for me unless I paid. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, so you can see the complete story on their website. Beware!

Girls Day at the Spa
We had a great afternoon at Veranda's getting facials. There were 3 of us enjoying a "girls vacation" in Palm Coast. They were so friendly and helpful from setting up the appointment, doing the follow up reminder call and when we arrived. Their level of customer service really showed that they valued our business even knowing we were just there on vacation. The facials were great and they definitely did it based our individual needs. When we talked over lunch we discovered that each of us had different things done. It was nice to know it was not a one facial fits all approach. We would definitely go back! They also recommended a great place for lunch!!!

Great massage, however, the ambiance was not at all what we had expected/wanted. We did the Couple's Massage as an anniversary gift to each other. The room was cold and uncomfortable, but the massage we received was great. Our therapists seemed to know exactly what we needed to get the most of our experience. Would do it again as single, but will look for something a bit more romantic for the couple's.
