After being a loyal customer for hair services for almost 3 years, I was recently disappointed by a pedicure I received. After the pedicure I experienced pain (hurting to walk pain!) I was able to see a podiatrist who confirmed that a toenail infection was present (although it could not be confirmed it was because of this salon, it is the only pedicure I have gotten in 7 weeks and was not in this type of pain prior to the pedicure ). I was told by the salon receptionist that a refund of my pedicure could be issued once the owner got into town and she was known of my situation. After waiting a week to speak with the owner, she called me and offered me a gift certificate to the salon. I declined as i wanted a check or amount back on my card.I will never revisit this salon. After a loyal customer gives you a concern like this, it should be taken seriously. I feel the customer service is lacking and the owner was not professional.

Massageworks offers colonic irrigation in addition to the popular staples of massages and facials. The technician was knowledgeable and pleasant. The atmosphere is peaceful, everything is very clean and the equipment is up to date (closed system). I was pleased with the service and observed that despite being a relatively small day spa, they offer quite a variety of treatments including teeth whitening.
