really great packages and great products
My sister and I visited Spa Theology about a year ago (Xmas 2013) and it was really great. A nice little gem in downtown Asheville. The location is quaint (read = small), but the staff were super nice, professional, and provided great service. We both got a package with massage, facial, and body scrub treatment and they were awesome. They use high quality products and the staff knows their stuff (my aesthetician (sp?) was an instructor). Bonus that they accept Spa Finder gift cards!!! I would recommend this spa if you want great treatment (but do not care as much about locker room type stuff, as they don't have steam/sauna etc. but my skin was so glowy that I really didn't care !!)

Monthly Massage Junkie
I have visited Spa Theology for a few years now. My first visit was for a massage and body scrub, a gift from my son. After that visit, I decided to budget as soon as I could for monthly visits. It took me a couple of years, but now I can prebook every four to six weeks for massage treatments. Regular massage is definitely a help for my arthritis and other issues. I have tried other spas in Asheville and other cities, but feel very comfortable with the Spa Theology environment and professionalism of the staff---from reception to service to checkout. I have a preferred therapist, but I've never had a treatment here that left me wishing for more---except more time on the table. I miss the vichy treatments that were once on the menu. I use Spa Theology Groupon deals and buy Spafinder gift cards to get better deals for my services here. I would still try other spas for specials, but this is my favorite one in Asheville.

Amazing Girls Weekend Spa Day!
We signed up for a day spa package that gave us a variety of services: Massage - the best one of my entire life! Facial - AMAZING! My skin felt great for weeks. Mani/Pedi - pretty typical Vichy - All I can say is WOW! Never experienced anything like that before but the scrub with brown sugar and honey was fantastic. The feeling of the spa was relaxing and soothing. Loved the atmosphere, snacks, and beverages. They had unique products and I bought a few. When we go back to Asheville, I will sign up again!

Calm and Relaxing
My husband and I went to Spa Theology for a couple's massage (to celebrate our 10th anniversary). It was completely a warm and welcoming experience. The two therapists were phenomenal and completely had us relaxed by the end of our hour. The changing areas are well appointed and the lockers come with your very own chocolate (made locally in Asheville). I would recommend this spa to both individuals and couples and would definitely return when I am in the area again.

Worst Spa in Asheville
I received a gift certificate to this spa and did not need any products. I have been a long time client of Sensibilites Day Spa. The staff at Spa Theology are just not as knowledgable as the staff at Sensibilities Day Spa. I received a Mani, Pedi, and Massage and was underwhelmed with them all. I do not ever plan on returning, even if I did receive a gift certificate.

Romantic Trip
My husband and I visited Asheville, NC. in December of 2010. One of our stops was a trip to Spa Theology-we had late afternoon treatments and we both hated to go! The staff were very professional-no pushy sales-and the treatements were wonderful. I have a girls weekend planed this October and look forward to another relaxing experience.

We loved our visit to Spa Theology!
We took our daughter to Spa Theology for her 10th Birthday. They were so sweet and so inviting. They even had a cupcake for her to celebrate her special day! They treated her like a Princess, and she felt so special. They were all very kind and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would recommend this spa to anyone and will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Asheville.

WOW!!
I went for a pedicure and it was amazing. When I walked into the spa I was greeted and taken back to the relaxation room. My pedicure was wonderful - I actually came back the next day with my husband and had a couples massage... The staff enabled us to have a great spa experience - the massages were incredible, the staff was very friendly, and we loved every minute of it. Will come back next time I am in Asheville for sure!!

very nice day spa in downtown area
I live in the asheville area and love to visit spas when I can. I have been watching as this place was being built and went in to check out the "menu". Eevn though Grove Park is also here some can't afford to go there all the time. Decided over Christmas vacation to try them out. The staff was very accomodating. The interior very nice. My treatment was wonderful. The whole experience was great and I would or will definitely return. The ambiance to the waiting room was wonderful, with some munchies, fruit and drinks. The robes were wonderfully soft and a box of chocolate from Choc. Fetish was in your locker. I had a wonderful massage and left very relaxed. Would have liked to stay longer in the lounge but I had to leave to meet someone. Will return...well worth the money. When I first went in just after they opened they gave me a complete tour of the facility. It is not a very big place but still ample enough. Good addition to downtown Asheville.

Incredible Service
After searching for a decent day spa in Asheville, I called Spa Theology to make an appointment and the nice lady on the phone informed me that they weren't opening until August 22, 2006. Instead of hanging up, she proceeded to get my information including what services I wanted to book and called another day spa to set up the appointment FOR me. I was amazed that she went above and beyond just to make a customer happy even if she couldn't provide the service at Spa Theology. I was impressed! Even though they haven't opened yet, they have a loyal customer in me!
