Wonderful Time
I went here with my friend while on vacation and it was really wonderful. Margery gave me an incredible massage and got out some big knots for me. Christine gave me a very relaxing facial. I can't wait till I return next year.

Perfect Valentines Day!!
My husband surprised me with a massage and a facial on Valentines Day and it was really incredible. Margery made me feel like a new woman and I enjoyed myself immensely. The facial was a new experience for me the girl was very helpful with my daily regiment. This is a beautiful spa in a not so beautiful shopping center. The free wine was a nice surprise too. I'll definitely be back.

this is not a spa....
I bought this massage through Groupon for myself as a birthday treat, and I also bought a deluxe package which included a manicure, pedicure and facial. There was NOTHING deluxe about it.. NOTHING...the girl doing it even told me when I asked, "what makes this deluxe", she said " deluxe just takes longer" Also I was informed that I did not have to purchase through Groupon and that the salon would accept the Groupon price. Needless to say the staff is totally overworked and obviously grossly underpaid. The massage therapist whom was very talented made a whopping ten bucks for a 60 minute massage...and I know because I asked and she did not want to tell me, but I insisted. The manager and the esthetician and the manicurist is all the same person. The massage was nice, the facial was nice, the rest was not so nice... I sat for two hours while she tried to remove my gel nail polish, and still did not get it all removed. Then she applied new gel polish but because her boss doesn't supply her with quality tools it did not cure properly and then she had to take that off. and put regular polish on. In the package I was supposed to get a meal of some sort (since I was scheduled to be there upwards of four hours) , but was told " the owner wont take that off the web site, but we haven't offered a meal with a package since we moved to this location, people complain about it all the time but he thinks. women don't read the small print"... I complained enough that they told the owner and he quickly removed the meal offering from his web site. (but it does tell you a little about how the owner operates his salon) In my honest opinion this salon should be shut down, and I am thinking about calling health inspection board, ...yes it was that dirty, but in all fairness to the girls, they are probably also meant to be the maids.. This salon in NOT what I am used to when I purchase anything on Groupon. and I will be weary of everything I purchase from now on because it is clear that Groupon is not vetting these businesses with any regard to their customers. Be very very very weary of this salon... I am hoping that all three of the employees that I met there can find different places to work where they will be appreciated and paid fairly. It infuriates me when I see talented (albeit a tad insecure) people treated like absolute garbage. It is clear the girl that did my mani and pedi, doesn't like doing them and it is not her forte.. She is a skin expert and gives a fantastic facial. I would highly recommend her for facials and peels and the masseuse was fantastic and knew her sh*t. But I would NEVER give this establishment one more red cent...

Not great
I would not return here. The woman who did my massage was unprofessional. She spent the entire session telling me I was having spasms and that I needed to go see a chiropractor or doctor--I was not having spasms, I was tensing up and moving away from her because she was hurting me (which I told her several times). She also tried telling me I had a brachial plexus nerve impingement--she was nowhere NEAR my brachial plexus, and I do not believe massage therapists have the authority to diagnose disorders. In addition, you would need a scan to diagnose a nerve impingement. Thank goodness I work in healthcare and knew not to believe her, otherwise I would have run to my doctor to make sure I was OK. I would advise not to go here for any massage services.

Given that the State of Florida requires the most education in the US for licensed massage therapists, the therapist absolutely has the knowledge to diagnose a muscle spasm, as well as, point out the proper location of the brachial plexus nerve. Given the proximity of the spasm to the actual location of said nerve, the therapist would not be doing her job if she didn't suggest having it checked out by a physician. Furthermore, ALL our therapists are highly educated in their field, experienced, licensed, and insured. In seven years of business we have never received a complaint of this kind and I would be curious to find out what type of work this "Professional Grouponer" does in the healthcare field.

My advise is to stay away save yourself a bad experience. 1st went there with a Groupon coupon for 3 one hour massages, that's how I found out about the business. The 1st massage was from a man = terrible! I would never classify his 'strokes' as massage! The 2nd was from a woman it was better but when I wanted to schedule the last hour again with her, she was no longer working there. I was told she moved away from FL. I had my 3rd massage from yet another person but really wanted to receive regular massages and when mentioning this, I was told not to purchase another Groupon but just pay the business directly the same amount I had paid to Groupon and they would give me 3 one hour massages. I paid for 3 more massages in advance as I was told they would hire a really good new therapist. I came for my scheduled appointment. The massage was VERY BAD because the room was so ice cold that I was shivering and even after mentioning this discomfort, she did not turn up the temperature! They are NOT open during times they post, found locked doors numerous times at 3 and 4 PM in the afternoon during their posted business hours. Parking lot completely empty not a single car in sight! Owner does not return calls! NO REFUNDS! STAY AWAY!

The woman came to our location twice and the doors were locked because the receptionist was in the hospital in labor and the rest of the staff were in sessions with clients. We rarely see walk-ins at this location and this person was the only one inconvenienced even though see didn't have an appointment. She came back twice, both times screaming at and harassing the staff. She made comments such as "This must be a front for illegal activity because the doors are always locked" and told one staff member "you're stupid and I hate your smile". She then demanded a full refund or said she would go on the internet and "Destroy this business". On her last visit, the police were called, but she fled the property before they arrived. This review is nothing more then retaliation because of a failed extortion attempt.

Great Find
I went here because they accepted my spafinder gift card and I never knew they were there even though I drive by it everyday! I got a facial from Michelle and it was unbelievable, all the way home I kept feeling my skin. I'm going back next week for a massage and I can't wait based on the comments from the customers coming out.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new hair dresser, boy HAVE I FOUND HER! Alicia did a great job on my hair and introduced me to some fun autumn inspired highlights. I love my hair and get compliments on it every where i go! My hair cut is perfect and the layers are so flattering. I will definitely be back t see her.

I scheduled an appointment with the male massage tech after he refused to schedule a massage with my husband. Everything about the process was awkward. Like the other review I read, the gentleman focused primarily on my back and only spent a few minutes working on my forearms. The time spent working on my back was mostly using one hand while he was sitting down. He asked about the pressure three times and each time I told him that he could use more pressure but he didn't adjust it to a point where I could really feel much of a difference, so I gave up asking. The massage was done mostly with a towel between his hand and my skin, which was uncomfortable and weird. It mostly felt like he was completely untrained because my son does better back massages than the one I got. The worst part was that I was lying there on my stomach hoping the massage would just end soon. It was just that bad. I've never felt that way about a massage before, so needless to say, I won't ever return.

This therapist is no longer employed at Clearwater Salon and Spa and was let go in mid August. If this reviewer had informed me of her issues, I could have dealt with this issue sooner.

Very Disappointing Massage
I had a 60 min. deep tissue massage and was very disappointed with it. The masseur's first mistake was not asking me if I had any areas that were in particular need. He decided that he was going to determine that for himself and ended up doing 95% of the massage on my back...he briefly worked on my neck and arms, and didn't even touch my legs or feet. He almost finished 10 minutes early but changed his mind and worked on my arms for 5 more minutes; doing the math you can see he still short changed me 5 minutes. When I challenged him on it he said he always finishes early so he can prep for the next customer...really? What poor quality service! Needless to say I am not going back.

R&R at it's BEST!
I wanted to try a new salon, so I stopped by Berry Beautiful in Clearwater. The salon itself is nice and the staff is great. My nail technician Tetra did a wonderful job on my mani & pedi. The salon stands out because they ONLY specialize in doing natural nails., no more stinky smelling acrylic! Definitely stop in the next time your in the area!

Did not meet my expectations.
I expected to have a good haircut and style. The styling was poor and I was charged an extra $10 for services with my hair that I did not ask for. I expected to have a good pedicure. She didn't even remove all of the dirt from around my nails. She left polish on the tips of my toes. I expected an even eyebrow wax. She made them uneven. I would never go back. The salon itself looks great, and they offer a lot of services. The staff could have been more professional, and the stylist could have done a way better job. After paying $80 for a haircut/shampoo/style, standard pedicure, and eyebrow wax, I should have walked out of their happy. Instead, I cried and regretted my decision to visit their salon.

I went to this salon today to have a massage, but due to a scheduling miscommunication I had a facial instead. The massage will be tomorrow. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. If the massage is any thing like the facial, I will be in heaven. It was very relaxing and I will definitely be scheduling another one soon with Jacy. She made me feel comfortable and she is very knowledgeable about the top rate lotions and potions they use for the facial and sell to the public. I bought 4 bottles of face product. This salon is beautifully decorated with top notch decor. I can't wait to go back to my new favorite salon for more pampering and much needed relaxation. Simply put.....a must!!

My perfect wedding
I went to this place the day before my wedding with my mom, bridesmaids, and new sister-in-laws. I was afraid they wouldn t be able to handle all 14 of us, but was I wrong. We had a great time!! The spa is the most beautiful one I ve ever been to. We had all kinds of services; massages, facials, mani/pedis, even spray tans. They even feed us for free and gave us free wine. The next morning Berry and Liz came to my hotel room and gave me a massage and gave me my wedding updo. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often, but on our next vacation I ll be back!

My new home!
I went to this spa Saturday with a spafinder gift certificate. I have never seen a more beautiful facility! Berry gave me a fantastic pedicure in a private room on the second floor, then Madeline gave me the best haircut and color in my life! After all that I got a massage from Liz that I couldn't enjoy completely because I fell asleep. All that with free wine and a meal for less then $200.00! I have found my new home!!

Must see to believe!!
I've been going to thier old location in Largo for almost a year and it was nice, but this new location is amazing!! I went yesterday with a gift certificate my husband gave me for Christmas. I started with a 90 min pedicure from Madeline, very relaxing and refreshing. The free wine didn't hurt either :) Next came a Microdermabration from Berry that I swear took five years off my face. After a free meal from Jimmy John's, Liz gave me a 90 min massage that turned me to jello. I wish I could just move in and stay forever.

A Really Nice Place
I have been going to Berry since she was in Largo and I have since followed her to Clearwater. Please go, they are wonderful. I was there this past week and got a very invigorating massage from Sherry and a great haircut from Berry herself. Also they give you lunch if you purchase a package. What a nice day I had and I encourage everyone who is looking for this type of service to give it a try, you wont be sorry. Berry goes way out of her way to please you and believe me you get more than you pay for. I love Berry Beautiful. I come from Pinellas Park to get there. It is well worth the effort to go. Don't go here, and they may move to Clearwater so watch for them there too.
Be aware of where you go. If you walk into a business and there is only one customer, this is a red flag. I went to this location @ least 6 times and there was never more than one customer there. only the first time was for services, the rest was to deal with a bad reaction to either their product or from something unclean. I have the pic's to prove it.I'm not sure. I've been going to spas for facials for many, many years and never had a reaction. I also do not have any allergies. I went there with my Groupon coupon. When I requested the info. on what they used on my face so I could supply that info. to my Allergist, ( never had one before this incident) they would not supply that info. to me. They finally did after my skin testing was completed and they had already been reported to the Better Business Bureau. Groupon will never have them again as well.. Don't go there. Be aware. They have been reported to the BBB as well as the Florida Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation.

Nadine Ducos came to our spa on July 27 with a Groupon.com package and was unpleasant from the moment she walked in the door. She received her services, tipped no one, and left with the same attitude she had entered with. Three days later she came back and accused us of damaging her face, which did show some slight redness. We explained to her that a delayed reaction of this amount of time was impossible and that in fourteen years of global distribution BiON, our skincare line, has never experienced such a delayed reaction. She stormed out only to return a month later, demanding samples of all of our products for testing. We explained to her that we would supply her with a list, but if her doctor wanted samples we would need to deliver them ourselves in an effort to avoid any contamination. She then became irate, told us she was going to file a lawsuit (we suspect this was her motivation from the beginning) told the customers in the spa to never come back and stormed out. She then filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau in an attempt to get us to offer an accommodation that she could then use in her frivolous lawsuit. The BBB closed the case three times as she continually sent in more complaints to get the case reopened. The BBB finally closed the case, found Largo Day Spa to be innocent of her claims and retained our A- rating. The department of Business and Professional Regulation show no claim from Ms Ducos and Groupon.com is not only running more adds, but has asked to use our spa in their advertising due to the tremendous success we have experienced. Ms Ducos is correct about one thing, on Nov 1, Largo Day Spa will become Berry Beautiful Salon & Spa and move to our new 2500sf facility at 1174 Court St. in Clearwater.

mixed feelings, ever changing staff
positive and negative to report. first impression was sadly neg. in 2010 i had a promo marketing card. i called and told the mgr i'd like to book a service, she told me she was very busy after i said i had a card and to call back later and hung up. second try i think she took my number to call me back but never called. next day or two, i was finally able to talk to her and book. while on my promo i got some very good services and i've been back since then. dawn gave me a great french mani/pedi but i don't think she's there any more. same with brian, great massage therapist. (is that correct, are those two gone, anybody know?) many employees don't seem to stay very long which concerns me. berry, the mgr, was much friendlier in person giving me my cut and style than on the phone. i had a lot of fun with her and a great cut. but i'm bothered by the attitude not only toward me w/ my promo but recent reviews by ppl w/ promos. i see the need to market a biz but if not making your full money annoys you, why do it? i'm VERY disturbed by the owner putting ppl's full names and even their place of WORK (!!!) in his responses. VERY scary, childish, unprofessional! THAT may make me stop returning which is a shame for everyone.

I can certainly understand the concerns "HappyButSad" has expressed. The promo deal in question was a scam from a fly by night company. It cost our company over $40k in losses and the perpetrators have disappeared. I know that's not our customers problem, but it's a little difficult to be cheery knowing that we're giving all services for free and it almost put us out of business. Dawn was only with us for about two weeks, then disappeared which, unfortunately, is a common occurrence in this business. Brian no longer does massage for health reasons, but we still see him occasionally and he doing much better now. With regard to my previous reply's to reviews, we take all reviews very seriously. I investigate each one, research our records, interview staff, and post the valid reviews in the spa for the staff to learn form. Unfortunately, It is impossible to make all people happy. When we find a review that is invalid, attacking in nature, or out right lies, I feel these people should be exposed for who and what they are. After all, they are attempting to destroy our reputation and business without cause. "HappyButSad", I hope this clarifies your concerns and we hope to see you again soon.

Not enough space to write it alI! I went to Largo Day Spa a couple of weeks ago with 5 other girls to get mani/pedis for my friend's wedding.
The 5 other girls had Groupons, I didn't. We made a reservation weeks in advance for 6 people for manicures and pedicures, and we arrived promptly on time. We knew ahead of time that they only had 2 pedicure chairs, but we weren't prepared for the process to take over 3 hours. 1st, there were only 3 technicians there, including Berry. Since the color selection was limited, we chose French manis. The technicians, however, didn't seem to know how to correctly do a French mani - they all looked awful. One mani was orange colored & the other friends had fingers that were half white It took one of them over an hour to do my friend's mani - almost 5 pedis had been done in the time it took that one mani. Further, the technician picked at my friend's cuticles w/ her own nails until they were inflamed and used a foot scrubber on her hands! One manicure was so bad they didn't charge us. We witnessed the women who posted below (BobH) come in for their 3 PM appntment - we were only halfway done with our nails at that point. Berry acted like this fact was these women's problem and was very rude to them. I decided not to get a mani, and Berry accused my friend of lying about the # of manis we got - after we had just spent 3+ hrs there

Although there is some truth to this review, there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. 1. Sara Trent and here wedding party of six from Ohio were at the spa on a different day then the review from "BobH" so there is no way they came in contact with one another. 2. The two ladies they did come in contact with were walk-ins demanding immediate service even though we were completely booked. 3. Two pedicure spas @ three customers each for 30min. equals 1.5 hours plus cleaning and setup time in between each service (which is a State law). Two manicure tables @ three customers each for 30 min. equals 1.5 hours plus cleaning and setup time in between each service (also a State Law). This group had appointments from 12:00pm - 3:30pm (3.5 hours) and were told that on April 30th @ 3:24PM, when they made the appointments. 4. We are not a cut rate nail salon, we are a Day Spa. We take time with our customers. If you want to be herded through like cattle, we are not the place for you. 5. We have over 150 colors of Premium Nail Lacquer, which is our own product line and lasts for up to six weeks. We take all feedback from our customers very seriously and address every complaint whether warranted or not. As a result of this review, I have reviewed the quality of work of both nail techs in question and found it to be below or standards. They no longer work at Largo Day Spa.

Sexy Bikini Line... thanks Largo Spa
Largo Day Spa was a really great service! I got a bikini wax and she did a great job and gave me some great advice about my skin. I was expecting a hard sell me into getting more services after, but there was none, it was all just advice. The price is very reasonable and the people behind the counter were really friendly and helpful. I liked the atmosphere there so now i know where to go if I need any kind of spa treatment. i recommend it.

Had A Great Time At This Spa…Will Be Back!
My sister came into town and I decided we both needed a girl’s day out. Part of the day was spent shopping but then I surprised her with a trip to Largo Day Spa. We both enjoyed the 60 minute Swedish massage which really helped us to relax. Then we moved onto the Deluxe Facial which was just fantastic. The next surprise was a haircut and style followed by a manicure. The staff just treated us like royalty and made it a great day for us. If you're looking for a great way to spend a day doing nothing but spoiling yourself then go to Largo Day Spa.

Largo Day Spa is a Great Gift Anytime!
My wife did not see this coming. I handed her a Largo Day Spa gift certificate for her birthday and she was floored. She'd been wanting to go for along time and she was excited. I set her up with a 60 minute relaxation massage which she really enjoyed. Lots of girl girl talk. Then she got her facial which she still raves about and to wrap everything up she got a manicure and pedicure. Thank you Largo Day Spa and your staff making the day so fantastic for my wife. Very cool place.

Great Staff and Amazing Service!
I work super long hours between running two businesses so playtime and relaxation don't come my way very often. One of my partners suggested Largo Day Spa would be a great way to get pampered and receive some much need relaxation. I saw their price for a 90 minute Relaxation Massage and thought "Wow what a bargain!" I setup an appointment for the weekend and was just floored by the professionalism of the staff and how well they took care of me. The gal who gave me the relaxation massage was super nice and kept the conversation light so I could wind down a little. She did such an awesome job that I actually nodded off part way through the massage. I feel better than I have in months. Well worth the money and what a great staff. Highly recommended.

Never order groupon at this spa
As part of my wife's surprise 50th birthday celebration, I had purchased two groupon Mothers Day packages for my wife and oldest daughter who flew in from Tennessee in time to take her mom to the spa. I booked the reservations several weeks in advance and had a specific time table for the entire day - their treatments were to begin at 3:15 and last until 7:30, which was timed for them to reach the surprise party at a restaurant in Tampa by 8:40. When they arrived they were told to come back in an hour - which seemed odd considering the reservations - and when they returned they were still not serviced for an additional 40 minutes, while the spa took in someone off the street without a reservation. When my wife and daughter politely questioned this - the two staff working began screaming at them - literally screaming, that they hadn't eaten all day and they only get paid 25% for groupons (hence letting another customer in ahead of them) and that my wife should deal with reality. My daughter called the police because the spa would not refund the money spent - we had to contact groupon directly to receive our refund. I hope they take Christian off their sales literature because they are certainly not living to Christ's standards.

Kristine Hartland of PEACE Wealth Management, Inc. in Seminole, FL and her daughter Jennifer Rachidi of TN, entered the spa at 2:45PM on Friday, May 13, for their appointments at 3:15 and 3:30PM and demanded to be served immediately as they had dinner reservations and had no time to wait until their actual appointment (the appointments were made on May 2). The manager explained to them that we were fully booked and could only be taken at their appointment time. Ms Hartland became agitated and said they would go eat and come back in an hour. At 4:15PM they returned and again demanded service, The manager explained that they could taken in 5 or 10 minutes, Ms Hartland stormed over to the manager, who was sitting and giving a pedicure, put her finger in the managers face and began screaming at her, stating "you don't know who I am", "I'll destroy your business", and "Give us a full refund now". Her daughter Ms Rachidi, then stormed over and joined in. The two other customers (not walk-ins they had 4:00 appointments) jumped up and moved away for fear of a physical altercation. They were told (and yes loudly) by the manager and three staff members "leave the premises" and "Call Groupon for your refund" as we don't have their funds and are unable to offer a refund. They went to their car parked directly in front of the spa and called the police. The manager locked the door and also called the police. They also called Groupon, received their refund and have since been flagged by the company and will not be allowed to purchase a Groupon for any business again. The police officer informed them that if they ever returned to the property they would be issued Trespass Warnings. As far as the comments about our Faith, God knows the truth and I have no need to reply.

I can only speak to my facial
I was booked for a 60 minute facial at 10:30 am 3/26/2011. I arrived at 10:25 and was not taken back to the treatment room until 11:05. My "60 minute" facial was over by 11:45. There appeared to be only 3 people on staff that morning - one person was the receptionist and the other two people seemed to be handling EVERYTHING else. During my facial nothing was discussed about my skin or the products that were being used. The only thing asked of me (3 times) was whether I'd like to book another treatment, perhaps a massage, as there was an opening available after my facial. When my treatment was over I looked at the product table and everything seemed to be in generic containers. I'm sorry, but I was left wondering if they were truly licensed Estheticians??

After careful review of the time tracking from our POS system, which is Spa-Booker a division of SpaFinder, Ms Creveling checked in at 10:50am and was taken to the treatment room at 10:50am as well. She exited the treatment room, paid her bill, and left at 11:52am for her 50% off Wellness Week Deluxe Facial. I might suggest that Ms Creveling have her "stopwatch" calibrated. When Ms Creveling was at our spa there was 1 Esthetcian, 1 Nail Tech, 1 Receptionist (Me, the owner), and two Massage Therapists in treatments rooms working. At 12pm two hairstylists, one nail tech, and a Massage Therapist arrived for their shifts. Although I suppose Ms Creveling would prefer I bring in the entire staff for her inspection during non peek hours. I have a standing rule that we never pressure customers to book appointments and heard nothing of the sort. None of our products are "generic". Good experience and service
I received a SpaFinder gift card for my birthday and decided to use it on my day off. I found Largo Day Spa on the website and decided to try them after reading the online reviews. I booked the Standard Package and chose the massage, facial and pedicure. When I arrived, Tina (the massage therapist) greeted me and had me fill out the necessary paperwork. The massage room was quiet and comfortable. Tina did a GREAT job; she got rid of the kinks I had in my neck and back! Next was my facial. Michelle greeted me and explained what would occur (I had told her that this was my first facial) and also explained that the main purpose was to RELAX, which I did. Next time I'll have to book an hour; the ½ hour went so quickly! Last was my pedicure, which Michelle also did. She was very attentive and actually went over the allotted time to make sure she did a perfect job. I learned during my visit that both Tina and Michelle have only been at Largo Day Spa for a couple months (since late August). The staff got along really well, which helped to create a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend both Tina and Michelle!

Great Facials/Glycolics
I started coming to Largo Day Spa because I purchased a service package from a marketing company that came to my place of employment. The first facial I had was great, but I expessed to Michelle my problem areas and concerns about my face and complexion. She was very attentive and suggested I try the Glycoloic, that it would help with my pores and keep my skin looking fresh and clear. She also sugessted that I may have some slight Rosacea, I went to the Dermatologist and I am now in fact being treated for it. I can tell such an amazing difference in the way my skin looks and feels. I would definitely recommend Michelle's services to anyone who is interested in having glowing and healthy skin!

Relax Atmosphere and Excellent Sevice
Two years ago, my sister's friend recommend the Day Spa to us and we have been going to them even since. We find the Berry and the staff to be friendly and they all do an excellent job in the care they provide. We love the relax atmosphere and the privacy of the "waxing and massage rooms". My Favorite Hair Stylist!
I moved to Tampa Bay, Florida in 2005. I was looking for a great hair stylist. One of my friend recommended Berry. Ever since I have Berry cut and style my hair, I was always been happy with her service. Berry always listened to what I want done and what new style I want to try. She also gave me very good pointers on whether a certain style may give me some challenges to keep up or not. I received many complements about my hair. She taught me how to do it myself at home to get the best result. I am pleased to recommend Berry and Largo Day Spa to anyone who look for great services.

Always a great experience!
I moved down to the area last year and came across Largo Day Spa. I decided to check it out, and I can honestly tell you that this is the only place I go to for my salon needs. Berry does such a wonderful job on my hair. She has turned me into a blonde without damaging my hair. I get compliments on the color weekly! My haircuts have always been exactly what I wanted and I always walk out of there feeling beautiful. In addition to the haircuts and highlighting, Berry also does an amazing job waxing my eyebrows. The service is top-notch. She has always been running on time when I am there and everyone is very friendly. I'm always offered a drink and genuinely enjoy the atmosphere. I definitely recommend Largo Day Spa!

My New Favorite Salon
I found Largo Day Spa on spafinder.com in March while looking for a place to get my hair and nails done for my birthday. I was new to the area, so I did a lot of online research before choosing this salon. I booked my appointment online--easy! The salon was clean and bright. Berry did everything, including mani-pedi, eyebrow wax, and haircut with foil highlights. Because I chose to have so many services done on the same day, I was there for a few hours, but the experience was relaxing. I enjoyed a glass of wine and felt very at ease. Berry was very intuitive--I told her my general ideas for my hair and then let her do her thing, and the outcome was fabulous! I've never had a better haircut or color...my husband agrees! Also my pedicure lasted for three weeks...which says a lot. Largo Day Spa is now my new salon. I just returned from another hair appointment and I'm just as pleased. She is consistently good at what she does!

Not a day spa
This is nothing more than a hair salon at best that offers nails and massage. I don't know how the massage guy is but he did have horrible manners so I would never have a massage from him. The owner Barri is stupid and does not know what she is doing. Dawn does nails and she does a pretty good job but Barri needs to do something else. I made an appointment for the enitre bridal party and it was a good thing that only 3 of us came. We were there over 3 hours and Barri did the brides nails. Big mistake. She wanted a French manicure but 3 times she redid her nails and each time it was more horrible than the first. The poor bride was almost in tears. She did not have time to go someplace else to get her nails done as by this time it was almost 2:30 and we had to be at rehersal by 6PM. They gave her a $20 credit after I called and complained but personally that was not enough for doing a horrible job and taking up valuable time the day before somebody's wedding. They acted all big stuff on the phone but when I got there I was not impressed. They did not even have nail dryers. They used hand held fans and fanned them dry. What century is this? They did not even offer us wine. Personally I have seen better nail jobs in those nail places. If you are looking for a top notch spa in the area try Saftey Harbor. Don't go here!

Some people spend their lives unhappy and attempt to attack those around them in an effort to make themselves feel better. Excellent Service
I went to see Berry for a haircut- she did a beautiful job- she did exactly what i needed and I loved the results. I have been back a second time and had my hair colored and cut again. I am happy with the results again. I also got a quick massage with Kate- she was wonderful- had a nice experience and will be back. I would recommend this spa to others who are looking for someone who will pay attention to your requests and take time to do your hair the right way. Massage service also very well done.

Poor Customer Service
My fiance brought me a package deal to this place. When I initially made my first appointment they called me the day before the appointment and cancelled. Since I only had a total of 6 months to use the certificate, I called a couple of weeks before the expiration date to schedule again; no one answered the telephone so I left a message. To my surprise (not really) no one returned my phone call. I called them a few days later and finally got a hold of the manager. She preceeded to give me an attitude on the telephone. I'm really fustrated with this place. I would've been a returning customer since I've been looking for a place locally. Their customer service for customers with certificates seem to be horrible.

This person has never actually set foot in our spa. She does not have a gift certificate, she has marketing promotion card called an "MSP" that she paid the marketing company $42.00 to receive over over $150.00 in free services. These promotions expire 6 months after purchase. Our Gift Certificates never expire. She decided to begin using her promotional card 1 week prior to its expiration and made an appointment for a mani pedi, then called back the next day and cancelled. A few days later she called back, demanded to come in and get all four free services at the same time before her card expired, which is a violation of the rules and conditions of the marketing program. Since then she has called daily harassing anyone that will listen.

Awesome Spa in Largo
I've been getting pedicures and brow waxing at Largo Day Spa for about 8 months. Berry is great! She does an extremely thorough job on my feet - which are usually in bad shape - and my feet and toes always look fabulous. The new Berry Beautiful line of polish is fantastic as I never have chipping or issues. I can go at least 3 weeks and my toes stil look great. Her technique on brows is also wonderful my forehead never turns red or breaks out like it has before I found Berry. I highly recommend Berry and the Largo Day Spa. Booking an appointment online at my convenience is also a great aspect of the spa.

I was given a gift certificate for a manicure & pedicure as a birthday gift. I was hesitant at first because I usually go to a salon that is close to my house but since I got the certificate I thought I would try it out. The salon was beautifully decorated and I was taken back immediatly and offered a drink. I was very impressed by the professionalism. Dawn was my nail tech and she did a wonderful job. I was amazed at how well she did a white tip free hand. The girl has talent. I had a wonderful experience and I plan on coming back.

I have been going to Berry for almost 6 months now for haircuts - which are perfect! I have never had anyone know how to cut and dry my hair since I had moved to Florida in 1995.....Berry is the first that gets my hair and gets it looking like I want it. I had her start doing my color in December 2009 when I had hair that had roots one color, middle another and then the ends yet another.........Berry got all to be the same and has maintained the color to be one - not three......another feat that I have not had done since 1995. My experience at Largo Day Spa was a fabulous one and I have had nothing but compliments on my hair as a result of Berry's workmanship!!!

I love this place!
I have been going to Largo Spa now for about 4 months straight. I get facials, waxing and now Im going to try the body detoxification wrap. Everytime I go it is such a wonderful experience. Relaxing, clean and I feel wonderful when I leave. Berry is so professional and knowledgeable with all the services. Well groomed man
I have been very happy with the eye brow grooming that I have had done here . They keep them looking good with tweezing- yet not feminine, I would recommend this over the wax or shaving that other places do.

I cannot believe those two reviews I read!! Berry is the best stylist I have ever had and I have been going to her for more than two years now! I will never change! She always, always cuts my hair exactly the way I want and constantly get compliments on my hair cut! She is professional and knowlegable and I absolutely love my hair! I refer her to my friends, and this is a first for me! She does a wonderful job on my pedi-mani and takes her time and I have always been very happy with her work. She is hard-working, and very cheery and I absolutely love her! I know she has had one bad stylist and I felt so badly that he reflected so poorly against her. Bay service
I never go to the spa for anything. Even hair cuts I generally go to somewhere like Hot Cuts. But I had the gift certificate and figured I would try it. I will NEVER go back to this spa again. When I walked in for my 10:30 appointment without asking my name I was accused of being late. I scheduled a hair color and cut. The gentleman that did my hair had to do the hair color twice because he screwed up somewhere along the way (maybe when he combed the color out of my hair). I spent 4 long hours in the chair. He had to redo the color and the cut is still wrong. I swear it was like he was cutting each strand one or two at a time. THe back is shorter than the front which is not what I asked for the front was suppose to have bangs and frame the face, I have bangs which are rounded so it looks like I had a bowl used to cut them and the sides do not frame my face they just hang. The owner/manager saw the issue with the color and was fixing it and I asked her to check the cut too. She said no problem but was too busy to follow up until I had had enough and was leaving. Then I got charged $95 for the service. I got charged for the fact that he had to redo the color. After 4 hours I think I should have been given a discount but that wasn't going to happen. Especially since she had already thrown 2 ladies out for wanting to use a coupon that they had for a pedicure. They were late for their appointment because they got lost. She was aware of this because she said they had called for directions. But then when they wanted to use the coupon she siad no because they were late. I am sorry this is just poor business. I am thourougly disapointed. The color is right now since she fixed that but I am going to have to pay someone else to fix the cut.

Wonderful Experience
I have always done without for my kids and always felt guilty when it came to pampering myself so I used the excuse to take my Daughter to a Mommy and Daughter Spa day for her first Mothers day in 2008. I found Largo Day Spa on Spa Finders and made an appointment for both of us for a day of pampering. I have been going monthly since for the most relaxing pedicures. I now am learning to pamper myself. We also acquired Berry used Largo Day Spa for my Daughters wedding in Sept 09. Berry and her asst came to the beach hotel where the wedding was taking place and did hair and makeup for myself and my Daughter and even made time to do the maid of honors hair right there on the spot. I will highly recommend this spa to everyone. Thank you Berry!!!

Never Again
They rescheduled my appt to a later time than what I requested. Was put in a Pedicare chair for 30 minutes and the water was cold. After my manicure, there was no drying table for my nails and as a result by the time I got home my nails were wrecked and I had to go to a local nail shop to get them redone. Perhaps for other things they do good but today............and for a pedicure and manicure they didnt do so good. They charged me $40 for an hr's time for the pedicure and it sure wasnt an hr's worth of work. I could have gotten the same pedicure from my local nail shop for half the price. They certainly wont be on my top ten list of Days Spas in the future.

Ms Peets made an appointment for and received a Mini Pedicure (30 min) for $25.00 and a Basic Manicure (30 min) for $15.00. Her Pedicure actually took about 45min due to the additional work that was necessary, which was done at no additional cost and the technician verified that her nails were properly dried. Her appointment was not rescheduled, however our technician was running about 10 minutes behind schedule and Eve showed up 20 minutes early. Ms Peets left a sizable tip and spoke cheerfully about her experience at check out.

I have been going to Largo Day Spa for several years. I have sent numerous family members to Berry for hairstyling and all love her and are going back. Fantistic Experience
After years of trying different spas I believe I have found the best. My husband and I started going to Largo Day Spa and seeing Berry about 2 years ago on the rcommendation of a friend and have never gone anywhere else since then. (Neither has our friend or her husband!) Berry is very talented with coloring and styles. Inaddition to doing my hair, manicures and pedicures, she also styles my husband's hair, trims his mustache and gives him a occasional pedicure also. Everyone there is so friendly that it is truly like visiting friends. Allow plenty of time as no one rushes you, it is very relaxing and, is such a great experience, I highly recommend that you make an appointment. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed.

I have tried every Spa in Largo and believe me the Largo Spa is the best. I loved every minute I was there. We visit Largo once a year and well definitely stay with Largo Spa. We joked and laughed and the time flew!! It is so clean. Berry knows what she is doing! Very perfessional. I have been going to Largo day spa for at least a year. Berry, the owner, is a very nice person. I usually get a manicure, pedicure and an eyebrow wax done. she is very detailed with her work. she takes time with every single customer. I love going to the largo day spa and I plan on going again. Hello, I have been coming to the largo day spa for a while. I actually used Berry for my wedding that I had in Feb. 2009. She was so nice for me and my wedding party. I was getting married at 11:30 am so berry actually came in early on that sat to take care of me and my bridal party. she worked on hair and just a little bit of makeup. not alot of owners that I know would be willing to come in early and work on 4 people herself. thanks again berry for making my day specail

Excellent Service
My best friend was getting married and I was coming from out of town. I didn't have an appointment but Berry was great! My friend was getting married @ 11am and this was a fairy tale wedding. She did my hair & waxing so quickly I was absolutely amazed. I wish she had a shop where I live because I would definately go there ALL the time. Keep up the good work Kargo Day Spa!! Will be back!
This was my first spa visit ever and what an experience!! My husband bought it for me as a b-day gift and after being busy with work, being a wife, and a new mother, I just kept putting it off. Well I figured what better time to use it than just before I go home to visit family in NY. The staff was friendly, spa was beautiful, and I felt like the Queen for a relaxing afternoon. I WILL be back. :)

I usually don't fill out these things but in this case I felt compelled to do so. My wife and I were visiting the Largo area and with the kids and family, she really needed to get out and take some time out for her. She was reluctant to go to a day spa in an area that she was not accustomed to but decided to give it a try anyway. Needless to say, she came back refreshed and very pleased with the courteous service provided for her. Apparently, this day spa set the bar higher for any other day spa that she decides to try while we are traveling! And for me.....her going there to unwind was a lifesaver because I almost felt like jumping off the Sunshine Skyway with the stress from family!

I had never been to a spa before, but while on vacation I decided to try one. Largo Day Spa had incredibly friendly employees that made my first experience a great one. I would recommend Largo to anyone and would definitely visit again!

Clean and quick
I'm not usually one for doing the spa thing all that often, but I was out and about with a girl friend of mine and she talked me into it. The service was outstanding, staff was freindly, they did quality work and it didn't take much time at all. Afterwards it had me feeling like I'd suddenly become 7 years younger. I will definately be coming back.
