I love going to this dayspa. I rarely take time out for myself, I am a working mom with two boys that keep very busy. The facials are delightful and the massages are wonderful. The staff is top notch! This is my top pick for a day at the spa. I can't wait to go again for some R&R.

So nice and relaxing!
I have been to this spa a few times before and I can say that the staff is amazing. They really know what they are doing and treat me so well when I am there. Everything is clean and relaxing. Over all - really great massage, great staff and really have nothing bad to say about the whole experience!

Love this Spa
I love this spa. The only thing that I feel it is a little out dated. The curtains are extremely heavy looking and little too much in the rooms. I would love it to be more breathable. Love the staff, body wraps and Massages.

Bad all around service
I went in for a three part spa package. My mud bath felt like dirty water and I thought I needed another bath afterwards. Then during the facial, the woman kept leaving the room, so I'd have stuff on my face for 5 minutes then she'd walk out, come back, put something else on, leave again, etc. Finally when I went to have a massage, I'm waiting in this chair in a hall and in front of the chairs is a spot where you can have your hair cut. And guess who was doing someone's hair? The woman who was doing my facial. Was she going back and forth between customers?? Then my massage was brutal even after I mentioned sometimes it was too rough. I came out of that spa more worn than I went in.

The owner gave me a butchered brazil wax, seriously. She literally scalped me and left me bleeding everywhere without having the decency to let me know. She did not even finish the job! When giving me a facial, she left the masque on for more than half an hour. I had to lay on wet and soiled towels when she tried to scalp me some more. NEVER EVER step foot in this 'Spa" again. Please avoid it at no cost.

Worst "Spa" I've ever been to...
This 'spa' if you could call it that is so ghetto beyond words. You go to a spa to feel pampered and this place does not come close. Disgusting and unclean amenities - asked for water and got tap water in a cheap plastic cup, the towel on the massage table was like sandpaper. At the end of my massage I felt like I was beat up and sore for the next few days. I've been to a lot of upscale spas so maybe I expect a little more, but I mean this place doesn't even warrant a one star. My facial was a joke. I honestly don't know how these people stay in business. Now I know why there prices are so much lower than others... trust me it is NOT worth it! Go somewhere else and be pampered.

I read so many reviews on this Spa - and was disappointed to drive up to what basically looked like a flipped out house. The floors were squeeky - the massage therapist actually TALKED through the whole treatment - of course it takes two to carry a conversation - but I felt GUILTY not comforting her with her horrible drama - was so stressed after I left. I don't know when Massage therapists will learn NOT TO TALK to the client at all - we're there to RELAX not to hear about our problems or yours. Booo! Not what I had expected which is newer, updated, high end, professional massage /facial services, especially in Willow Glen! Go to Vegas spas or hotel spas and take notes!!

FOREVER BREAKING MY APPOINTMENT
I have been going to Stella for a while and it never fails. If I make an appointment, they break it. Stella gives a top notch massage, but what good is it if she can't keep an appointment? I believe that they are more prone to break appointments if they think or know you have a gift card. I am giving them an overall rating of 1 star because, no matter how nice the spa is or the technicians are, it does me no good if they won't hold up their end of the bargain.

I set up an appt for a cellulite treatment after 1 week they called me back and said the tech was going to be having a family emergency in 5 days(ok I can understand that) and after that date they would only be offering this treatment in the afternoons and on weekends well that doens't do soem of us anygood when we have kids and need morning appts and why didn't they tell me this was going to happen when they booked my appt especially when they will be a series of appts...bad customer service very bad

The best massage!!
As a treat to myself, I visited La Concha Day Spa for a massage and steam room and Jacuzzi day. The massage was by far one of the best I've ever had. The therapist targeted all my problem areas and I felt amazing afterwards. I have had a lot of massages and some in very fancy spas, but this massage was sensational. For my friend's birthday that is coming up - I am taking him to get a massage at La Concha!

The worst facial!
BEWARE OF FACIALS AT LA CONCHA. I honestly left questioning the credentials and education of the lady that gave me my facial. It definitely didn't feel like the usual serene spa or even clinical spa experience that I'm used to. I went to La Concha, which is located in prestigious Willow Glen, because of the variety of facial options. The facial room is the size of a closet with a curtain for privacy so you could hear every conversation, ever door closing and opening, and every person walking by the hallway just outside the room. It definitely was the least spa-like experience I've ever encountered! The lady who did my facial was loud and not graceful at all. She just seemed very inexperienced with the spa-like experience. When she massaged my face I could feel her nails digging into my skin! I had to tell her to stop because I could feel her nails. I was apphauled to see, when I opened my eyes, she had a full set of fake nails! I have never had a facial done by someone with long nails. I got the express glycolic peel, which buyers beware, they use 35% glycolic, not the standard 30%. So I couldn't even sit through 2 minutes of the peel before I had to ask her to take it off! My face immediately felt raw and sensitive, and she kept rubbing this cold wash cloth on my skin to try and take the peel off! The best she could do to ease the discomfort was cover my face with an ice cold towel to "stop the action" as she called it. She had nothing to actually neutralize the acid. It was awful and I just had to write this review to warn other spa goers. If you have sensitive, acne prone skin or you are just picky about what you do to your skin, do not go to La Concha for a facial!
