The Red Door at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City

Unparalleled pampering and professional expertise.

The modern glass towers of the famed Harrah's Resort overlook the bay in Atlantic City's Marina District, a short ride away from the city's famous boardwalk. After completing a $550-million renovation and expansion in 2008, Harrah's offers waterfront shops, a luxury high-rise tower, and quarter-acre pool entertainment complex situated under a 90-foot-high glass dome. At the resort's expansive casino, guests can sample the non-stop action of thousands of slot-machines, fast-paced table games, video poker, and more. The Red Door's sprawling facility offers guests a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle and glittering lights of the resort and casino. The complex also houses restaurants, concert and theater venues, and meeting space.

Dark woods and natural colors embody the ambience of the resort's The Red Door, located just off the glass-domed pool area. This 23,000-square-foot (2,136-square-meter) retreat features 23 treatment rooms, including a couple's deluxe suite complete with in-room Jacuzzi, fireplace, and shower. The spa offers an extensive menu of signature spa and salon services including skin care, massage, and body treatments, as well as nail care, makeup artistry, and hair design. Amenities include high-tech manicure and pedicure stations with individual flat-screen TVs, as well as an in-spa retail and makeup department, a hair styling area, and separate female and male "wet zones" with a steam room, sauna, and Jacuzzi pool surrounding a fireplace. Exclusive Harrah's resort packages are available—one is The Red Door Suite Escape package, which includes an 80-minute massage for two and 30 minutes of relaxation in a private suite complete with in-room Jacuzzi and fireplace.

The spa's full-service fitness center overlooks the pool area and is accessible from the spa. Guests can also enjoy massage and reflexology services in private, pool-side cabanas.

Facilities & Amenities

Poker enthusiasts may recognize the resort's casino as a World Series of Poker setting, but aside from a wide range of gaming opportunities, the resort offers other recreational activities, as well. There's live entertainment nightly at the Eden Lounge, though the centerpiece of the resort's nightlife is The Pool, a large indoor pool complex that transforms into a nightclub. Housed under a 90-foot-high glass dome, The Pool is available to swimmers (adults only) during the day, and for evening poolside dining before it transforms into a nightclub. For those who need to atone for too much late-night partying, there's a full-service fitness center open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., which overlooks The Pool and can be accessed from The Red Door.

Families will appreciate the family pool and teen entertainment center in the Harbour Tower, and theater buffs can catch Broadway shows at the resort's Concert Venue. The nearby Atlantic City Country Club is available for golfing, and the resort offers a good deal of meeting space.
