I had a wonderful experience getting a massage with one of the students. The customer service was spot one and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Make sure a master ALWAYS checks work!!
I had a simple manicure service done at La'James for New Years Eve 2010, and initially I was skeptical about their expertise, so I only opted for a regular manicure (not a spa manicure, which costs more). To start, the tech didn't remove all of the old polish, and before she painted my nails she failed to clean off the lotion she had applied to nails during the massage . Upon leaving, I had a large chip down by my cuticle, so I called their 1800 number. At first I was told there was nothing they could do, but log my complaint. However, I urged them to log the complaint AND allow me to return the next day to get the service re-done, free of charge...since I was there a mere few hours earlier. Only then did a master stylist come and check the tech's work before I left. My mother also received a botched haircut that wasn't checked over by a Master Stylist before she departed. Her haircut transpired the same date of my first service. I understand the stylists and techs are in training, but save your pennies up for somewhere more professional!!! The tech who messed my nails up was set to graduate in less than a month from the time of my service!
