Currently Craving: 5 Summer Spa Treatments

From watermelon to cucumber to coconut cream, these five spa treatments are serving up summer!

It’s always happy hour at Red Door Spa locations nationwide, where all summer long you can enjoy a delightful and refreshing blend of watermelon and basil. Using FarmHouse Fresh products the spa is infusing many of its treatments with the flavor of a Watermelon Basiltini. The Watermelon Basiltini Body Treatment ($135) polishes and hydrates skin with a scrub that is infused with the aromatic essential oils of watermelon, basil, and cilantro. What follows is a targeted, relaxing massage with shea and cocoa butters. Give your hands and feet a treat with the Watermelon Basiltini Manicure & Pedicure ($120). The watermelon-basil sugar scrub gently exfoliates before a massage of shea and cocoa butters, a paraffin treatment, and a polish.

In Nicaragua, Spa Mukul at Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa, is offering a Lavender, Milk, and Honey Salt Glow, perfect for getting skin smooth for the beach or pool! The treatment begins with a steam and then a scrub is massaged into the skin, with special attention paid to the knees, feet, and elbows. After the scrub is rinsed away, a lavender body lotion is applied leaving skin feeling like silk. The spa also offers a Cucumber Banana Leaf Wrap for guests who spent a little too much time in the sun. The essential oils and the cooling cucumber help to deliver instant relief!

Another spa offering relief from the sun, The Regent Palms Turks & Caicos has a 60-minute Sun Rejuvenation treatment for guests. The treatment starts with a full-body dry brushing and an application of a marinade of cooling mint, cucumber, Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon. You will then be wrapped in a blanket to allow the nutrients to seep into your skin as you receive a calming face and scalp massage.

Spa at The Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort, in Colorado is helping to soothe guests’ skin with its Coconut Crème and Cucumber Skin Soother ($150). Using wild-crafted, organic ingredients, the treatment begins with an herb-infused Aloe vera, rose, and cucumber distillate mist. Then skin is moisturized with a body mask of summery coconut crème with refreshing cucumber, and rose while you enjoy a relaxing scalp massage. The treatment concludes with a soothing serum application and body oil.

Sanctuary Spa at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, Arizona, keeps its guests’ skin safe by giving them all of the sun’s benefits with none of its harmful side effects. The Vita D Brightening Facial ($170) uses Skin Authority products to infuse the skin with vitamin D to promote cell regeneration, restore the skin’s moisture barrier, and protect it against environmental damage.
