Spa Lounges

Some airport lounges allow passengers to indulge in a spa treatment without leaving the terminal. Passengers can prep for a flight or to pamper themselves on a layover, with many treatments designed for travelers. Many lounges offer massages and showers, though sometimes extensive spa menus or complimentary treatments are available. Access is often restricted, though some offer day passes for a fee.

The premium business lounge features tailored treatment rooms for express spa experiences, including facials and foot and leg massages.

Bangkok, Thailand: Bangkok International (Suvarnabhumi) Airport (BKK)
Royal Orchid First Class Spa Lounge, Concourse D

The Royal Orchid spa offers an array of services including Thai and foot massages, and spa suites with a Jacuzzi.

Changi, Singapore: Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)

The 24-hour lounge provides showers and changing rooms, fitness facility, oxygen therapy, napping suites, body massage, foot reflexology, and healthy snacks and beverages. The lounge is open to all passengers.

The tropical rainforest-themed lounge offers travelers a relaxing retreat with soft music and tropical flora and fauna decor. Amenities include Jacuzzi, showers, massage, nail, and beauty services, a business center, food and beverages lounge, and bar.

Dallas, Texas: Fort Worth Airport
AMEX Centurion Lounge Terminal D

Features an Exhale-branded Spa, giving complimentary services: massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Access to the lounge is free for Amex Platinum, Business Platinum and Mercedes-Benz Platinum cardholders and Centurion card members. Other American Express Card members can enter the lounge for a fee of $50. Open seven days a week, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Qatar Airway"s Lounge with Elemis spa services, Premium Terminal

Qatar Airway"s Lounge features U.K.-based Elemis spa services with treatments that include manicures, facials, and massages. Jacuzzi, shower, and washrooms are available.

Frankfurt, Germany: Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA)
Lufthansa has opened a spa lounge for first-class customers in Concourse B of the Frankfurt Airport.

Passengers can book massages, facials and other treatments, and pay for them with miles or cash. The spa has six large private bathrooms and a room with a Wii console and fitness and sport games to pass the time. Lufthansa provides limousine service from the lounge for passengers whose flights depart from terminals A and C.

Hong Kong, China: Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)

The Plaza Hair and Beauty Salon offers massage services, and beauty, foot, hand, and hair treatments in its Traveler"s Lounge. The Arrival Lounge has showers, international TV and newspapers, music, and chair massages. Packages for lounge use, shower, massage, and naps are offered.

Cathay Pacific The Wing - First Class Section, Level 6, Level 7
Five cabana-type bathrooms consist of a toilet, sink, deep soaking tub, and shower. There is also a relaxation area with a lounge chair. Guests are provided with Elemis toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes.

Spa treatments range from energizing foot massages to wet shaves to help travelers freshen up after a long flight. Deli and bar service are also available.

The airport"s Spa on Air has an extensive menu of body and facial treatments, and massage services, including aromatherapy, Swedish, and Thai. There is also a sauna and salon, and access to showers and free Wi-Fi. There is also an area equipped with showers on Floor 4 of the airport.
