The lotus logo was developed as a natural offshoot from the name "Jiva" (Sanskrit for "life force"), as the lotus is the "symbol of life" in ancient Indian treatises. The lotus in the Jiva logo took on a more contemporary design and look to reflect Jiva"s concept: "It is the royal art of India"s ancient healing wisdom in a contemporary new setting."
The color green was chosen, as it is representative of the birth of things, spring, and all things new. It also signifies freshness and complete healing.
