Dark Chocolate Crème
12 ounces evaporated skim milk
1/3 Cup packed brown sugar
1 Large egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 ounce chopped dark chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
Whisk together milk, brown sugar, egg, cocoa powder and cornstarch in a medium sauce pan.
Cook over low heat whisking constantly until mixture bubbles and thickens.
Add chocolate and vanilla, stir until chocolate is melted,
Pour into bowl and cover the pudding with plastic until chilled
