New York, NY – July 21, 2010 – Some of the nation’s leading wellness brands, including Danskin, LeSportSac, The Vitamin Shoppe and Bally Total Fitness, have joined with SpaFinder as part of a multiplatform marketing campaign promoting SpaFinder Deal Days, The Wellness Week™, www.spafinder.com/dealdays, September 20 – 26, 2010.
The first nationwide wellness event of its kind, SpaFinder Deal Days will give consumers across the country the opportunity to experience spa treatments, yoga, Pilates, and other wellness activities for 50% discount or for $50. Participating spas and studios include the Si Spa at the Palm Beach Marriot Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa (Singer Island, FL), Apogee Pilates & Wellness Center (White Plains and Bedford, NY), Firm Body Evolution Spa (Los Angeles, CA), The Spa at the Crescent (Dallas, TX) and Kohler Waters Spa (Chicago, IL).
According to Sallie Fraenkel, SpaFinder’s chief operating officer, the multiplatform promotional campaign will include paid advertising on the Bravo cable network, in print publications such as Lucky, Self and New Beauty Magazine, and in movie theaters nationwide.
Additional campaign elements include online and in-store promotions and social media. LeSportSac is providing in-store exposure with SpaFinder Deal Days signage in all of their stores throughout the country, while Danskin will include promotional inserts in all order shipments throughout the month prior to the event. Other partners include Women’s Health magazine and iVillage. In total, the campaign is expected to generate more than 100 million impressions nationwide.
