Spafinder Wellness, Inc. Appoints Aimee Schmalzle New Vice President of Marketing
Former Bliss VP to lead digital, ecommerce and customer acquisition strategies
Miami, FL – June 10, 2015 – Spafinder Wellness, Inc.®, the global resource for feeling good and living well all year round, today announced Aimee Schmalzle has been appointed vice president of marketing. In the newly created position, Schmalzle will lead strategies to further accelerate the company’s worldwide growth and execute new digital products and programs, including a redesigned Spafinder Wellness 365™ online presence and new mobile and customer loyalty initiatives.

Schmalzle brings deep experience in spa, beauty and digital marketing to Spafinder Wellness. Prior to her appointment, she was vice president of ecommerce and digital at Bliss, a company within the Steiner Leisure Limited portfolio of brands, where she served as a member of the leadership team and was responsible for the management and financial success of both blissworld.com and timetospa.com. Schmalzle was also tasked with leading web development, store management, merchandising and traditional, digital, direct and loyalty marketing programs for Bliss.
Previously, she was director of ecommerce at Steiner Leisure Limited, the global provider of services, products, design and education for spas and medi-spas, and was accountable for the growth and development of timetospa.com. In addition, Schmalzle managed profit and loss for Steiner Beauty Products and developed systems and marketing solutions to integrate customer information within timetospa.com and across other Steiner business entities. She also developed and implemented a social media strategy for the company and storefronts on Amazon and eBay.

Schmalzle began her career at Club Med, where she created and operated MyClub.com, an early online customer loyalty program. She also developed campaign management tools to target and measure direct marketing initiatives.
She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College, majoring in psychology and communications.
