Spafinder Wellness, Inc. Names Antonio Llanos Vice President of Technology

Llanos will lead new initiatives and innovation in the company’s mobile and online offerings

Miami, Florida – March 10, 2016 – Spafinder Wellness, Inc.® today announced Antonio Llanos is the company’s new vice president of technology. Llanos will play a key role in guiding the company’s technology vision and strategic planning and be responsible for the management of the company’s information technology infrastructure, including content systems, mobile and ecommerce initiatives. He will direct and execute large-scale projects, assuring alignment between technology, business groups and consumers to maintain Spafinder’s role as the leading wellness resource.

Llanos joins Spafinder Wellness with over 20 years of technology and management experience, having held various positions within the technology departments at Bayview Asset Management, Florida Power and Light, JP Morgan Chase and All-American Medical. His expertise includes development, application architecture, project management, systems support, quality assurance and release management.

Most recently, Llanos managed the Open Systems team for KLX Aerospace Solutions, a billion-dollar aerospace consumables company, overseeing the implementation of various web and ecommerce systems. While at KLX, he oversaw the spin-off of KLX from its parent, B/E Aerospace and helped launch ShopKLX, a first of its kind ecommerce site for the aerospace industry.

Previously, Llanos was vice president of information technology at All American Medical, where he managed all aspects of IT, and helped lead the implementation of various consumer-facing health and wellness application development projects, including Mel, a daily diabetes tips site, GlucoBingo, a mobile game to help people understand how to manage their diabetes, and Defy Diabetes, a website to support greater awareness of diabetes.

Llanos holds a degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he remains active as an alumni leader for the South Florida region. He also holds Masters degrees in Engineering Management from Florida International University, Masters in Computer Science and Bioengineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Certificate in Computer Security from Stanford. An avid runner, he enjoys participating in half-marathons across the state of Florida.
