Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa- Phoenix

I had such an enjoyable experience at this Hand & Stone Massage spa on Cactus. Last week, I woke up with a terrible neck ache and could barely turn my neck. A friend of mine had suggested Hand & Stone before and I thought now more than ever would be the time to try and I am so happy I did. I called the morning of and was able to get an appointment for the afternoon. When entering the spa I was greeted by two young women who were sweet, friendly and accommodating. Then, the stars aligned and I met JoAnna. She was perfectly suited for my needs and helped my neck pain tremendously. Not only was she lovely and relaxing but incredibly talented. I added on some Lavender oil and came out so relaxed and more importantly I could turn my neck again. I can't wait to go back here, I took some info about their membership and definitely think it would be worth my while. Truly outstanding from start to finish. Clean, friendly, quiet, therapeutic, very reasonably priced, & extremely relaxing...I loved it.

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! I am in love! I have been going to Hand & Stone as a member for over a year and can't believe I've never written a review, it is simply amazing. From the moment you walk in it has such a peaceful atmosphere, you instantly feel calm and relaxed. The facility is very clean (which is a huge deal for me:), quiet and the staff is great. I've seen a number of the therapists, and they all are wonderful in their own ways. Some therapists have different techniques since everyone is different but I have honestly never had a bad massage here. They recently started doing facials & I just had my first facial last week, it was incredible! It was a deep cleansing facial and I really feel like it has helped my skin, the products used were awesome, I felt clean and refreshed. And I could still hit the grocery store after! Bottom line: For facials and massages on a convenient schedule at an affordable price it doesn't get any better! I would recommend this place to anyone, I LOVE IT!

I am not by any means, a spa goer professional, however, I especially love this spa! I do not need a place to wine and dine me before I feel relaxed and ready for a massage, this particular location is soo nice and welcoming. Everyone is very professional and only wish you the best experience. I love the quick appointment avaliabilty and the spa-like feel with out having to tip everyone you see!

I've had massages at many places around the Valley, many of the places where you can become a member for a monthly rate and have a massage anytime you like. It wasn't until I'd had a wonderful experience at this location of Hand and Stone Massage that I decided that massage needed to be part of my budget. While they don't have the variety of services that dayspas and some super high-end places may offer, you're also not paying for the maintenance on waterfalls and the cost of designer furniture in their lounge areas. The owner and his front desk staff are friendly and they remember you, nobody is pushy or trying to upsell you on services before you go in (or during the massage for that matter.) I've had quite a few different massage therapists here who did wonderful work, and I'd recommend this location to anyone.

I recieved a Spafinder gift card for $50.00 for Christmas. When I booked my appointment, I was told new clients were 39.95. After my service, I tried to pay for my service with my gift card, I was told that my card was not enough. I paid 10.00 cash tip and the owner told me I owed her more money. It was the worst customer service I have ever seen. The massage was mediocre at best. I asked my therapist to work my occipital and feet and she did not even after two requests. My feet were clean and smooth !! I still dont understand how a fifty dollar gift card does not cover a 39.00 service ?????

This was my second experience at Hand & Stone. Both experiences were fabulous. I had the same therapist both times and did not even have to ask for her for the second appointment which I thought was great because obviously they kept record of it. Having the same person twice made it even more relaxing the second time. She seemed very experienced and knowledge and used the perfect amount of pressure. Having 2 teenage children in my house, working full-time and always being on the go, I have alot of stress and my neck & back are always in dire need of some attention. The hot stone massage definitely did the trick and I cannot wait to return for another session. The facility is extremely nice and in a good location. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and everyone !!!!

My husband purchased a membership for me to the Hand and Stone Massage Spa on Cactus for my birthday. I had a 50 minute hot stone massage this past weekend. I work at the computer all day and always have terrible knots in my shoulders. The therapist took the time to inquire about my problem areas and really worked on my neck and shoulder area. The hot stones really make such a difference. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I look forward to returning again soon.

My massage I had at Hand & Stone was the best massage I've ever had! Everything flowed and was exactly what I needed. Gorgeous location and a very relaxing atmosphere. I was so impressed with quality of the massage and place considering the cost... Very afforable and exactly what you need on a budget, beautiful spa!
