HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will NEVER go back to this place again and will recommend a different day spa to anybody who asks! I received a gift certificate for a specific service that was apparently bought with a coupon and I was never told that if I chose a different service I would have to pay the difference. The difference was calculated using what the purchaser of the certificate paid not for the price of the service it was valid for. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional when there was an inquiry concerning the amount that was requested as payment. Had I merely been informed of the fact that the difference would need to be paid I would have never changed the service and could have avoided $100 charge that I was not expecting! I will NEVER GO BACK AND RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO THERE EITHER!!!

My First Day Spa Message

For Valentine's Day February 2011, my honey bunch treated me to my FIRST DAY SPA MASSAGE. I was super excited and anxious to see what all the hype was about. To my surprise, all the customers that were leaving the spa, having already enjoyed their massage, exited looking highly relaxed and in utter blissfulness. I hoped to feel and look the same. I chose to do a calming message with the heated black stones with oil; concentrating more on my shoulder area. I waited approx. 20 minutes or so until i was called to the back. The room i entered was small yet cozy. The light music and scent of lavender made me feel at ease. My massage therapist was nice. She massaged my shoulders and along my back just as i instructed, adding her little flare every now and then. Every so often, she would have me hold one of the hot oiled stones in my each of my palms, relaxing not only my back but my whole body. The sensation was different. The whole massage lasted about one hour. It hadn't seemed like that time had past though. I dressed and was greeted by two staff members. One handed me a glass of water with lemon. Very refreshing. I would recommend the Serenity Day Spa to my friends and family. Next time i go I will do a couple session.

What a wonderful visit I recently had. Everything about this spa is superb, and exceeds all expectations. If I hadn't known any better i would have believed that i was the only patron the day of my visit. This is the most peaceful and intimate spa that I have been to . I had a facial and a hot stone body treatment. The staff gives you the one on one treatment you wouldnt recieve in a "big named" spa. I will be going back now faithfully every month as a serenity treat. 5 stars and two thumbs all the way up!!

This is definitely a place to try. The service and staff were all excellent and very friendly. I plan on treating my girlfriend for her birthday next month. If you are looking for a place with personal attention then look no further. This spa, is one that I would recommend.

I just had the best massage ever!!!!. My girlfriend referred me to this local day spa near my house. All I can say, she was sooooo right. If you go, ask for Sandra, she is simply the best!!!!

My daughter treated me to a day at the spa for Mother's Day which included a lunch. The service was execellent. I had a 1 hour massage with Jasmati, and a spa pedicure with Lyn that was simply to die for. The lunch was also very good. The owner had everything cater in and had champagne too. What a treat.

After a horrible day at work, I decided to treat myself to a 90 minute massage at my favorite day spa. The owner was able to get me in on a last minute notice. When I arrived, she took one look at me, grabbed my by the hand and led me to the private steam area. She took my coat, and gave me a hug and said "whatever happened, its all behind you now." Within 15 mins another friendly face appeared. Sharon, my favorite therapist, who stayed late just for me. My massage was AWESOME!! I felt every knot in my back disappear, and woke myself up twice from snoring. When every thing was over, all I could think about was repeating it all over again. The customer service at Serenity truly has your best interest at heart. You don't feel like you are just a client, they make you feel more like an old friend of the family.

My girlfriend told me about this spa after a day of what she called heaven at the spa. I couldn't believe that this Day Spa was right in my own back yard. I couldn't wait to book my services.The quality of service along with the perfect atomsphere made my visit the an excellent place to escape to. I have told all my friends about it, and now we are planning my birthday/ spa party there for next month. Can't wait!!! Everybody needs to go there!!

I went to Serenity Day Spa in Flossmoor for the first time in December as a treat for my husband. We had the couples massage and it was awesome. It was a very peaceful atmosphere and my husband loved it! We each had facials and the therapist was wonderful! We were able to get our mani-pedi's together in the nail room and both of our Nail Techs were friendly while still allowing us to carrry on our private conversation. The manicure chairs weren't those painful massage chairs you see at the "foreign" shops. The pedicure bowls were very sanitary and comfortable and the service was excellent! My toes never looked so good!!! I do return every first Friday of every month for my facial and hot stone massage and every 2 weeks for my manicure with Lynn. The staff is very professional and friendly. Well worth the money!

My husband bought me a spa package for my birthday. I decided to use it on New Years Eve. First of all the massage equipment that the owner uses is cheap. The face cradle was painful. The massage therapist was nice, but I couldn't focus on the massage because my face was hurting. She kept trying to adjust the apparatus, but it didn't work. When I got my pedicure, they didn't have a pedicure chair. It was an office chair and you had to soak your feet in a planter bowl. The nail technician half polished my nails because she said the lighting in the room was poor. I didn't even make it to the manicure. I wanted some of my money back and the owner became upset. Overall, my experience at Serenity Day spa was horrible.
