I asked for a deep tissue massage appointment on the phone .I was very specific..DEEP TISSUE. They said ok .When they where finished I wish I would have left after 15 min. in.I did not want to embarass the girl.next time this happens anywhere else I will.It was a feather massage.

Chronically late, high staff turn over, monthly new management, neophyte therapistsBy MichaelD | May 30, 2012
I have been a member of Hand and Stone since the opened on 4TH St in Saint Petersburg. Initially the service was excellent, the availability was great and most of the therapists were experienced. In the last year the service and availability have gone south. The therapist they are hiring are new and lack experience. They are almost always running behind schedule which often times seems to shorten therapy sessions. For this reason I am cancelling my membership. I hope they get it together as it was a great chain/spa. I left Massage Envy for the same reason. I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for applies "

It's so relaxing when you come in. I went in for my birthday because I had a giftcard. The staff was super friendly and my massage litterally had me melting at the end of it! I would suggest coming here!!

I was never a regular massage customer until I tried the Hand and Stone Massage Spa in St Petersburg. They won me over wth their friendly staff and affordable membership plan. The atmosphere is very calming, the therapists highly trained. They offer a variety of services from hot stone massage to facials to foot treatments. I have tried them all and highly recommend any one of them!!

I have recently switched from a competitor spa to become a regular here at Hand and Stone Massage Spa. The staff is super-friendly and the massage therapists are highly-skilled. From the waiting area to the bathrooms, every aspect of my experience exceeded my expectations and will now be a regular part of my lifestyle. The membership pricing is very reasonable and well worth the commitment. I highly recommend trying this spa.
