About AMOMI Spa
Located on the North Scottsdale/Phoenix border, AMOMI Spa is a physician-supervised medical spa. There are both traditional day spa and cosmetic medical spa services available for women of all ages. In addition, there are a special set of treatments specifically designed for pregnant women and new moms. AMOMI's goal is to "take care of you while helping you to relax, revitalize, and renew" while providing safe spa treatments. The 2,500-square-foot spa has four treatment rooms, a lobby, retail area, separate manicure and pedicure wing, and a relaxation area.
Spa and medical spa services available include massage, body treatments, facials, photofacials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, laser vein removal, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Services have been created and selected by the spa's physician-owners to have minimal downtime; gift cards, packages and financing are also available.
In addition to spa services, AMOMI has a wide range of spa gifts for women of all ages, including gifts for moms and their new arrivals.
Treatments are supervised by Dr. Karrie Francois, Dr. Cathleen Harris, and Dr. Julie Scott, the medical directors of the spa and high-risk obstetricians, who have specialized aesthetic training in the use of laser and light-based devices for hair and vein removal as well as chemical peels for skin rejuvenation. Other staff members include practitioners certified in laser treatments, and other staff members including perinatologists, aestheticians, massage therapists, and nail technicians. Clients are invited to schedule complimentary consultations prior to receiving treatments.

Karrie Francois, M.D.

Karrie Francois, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. At the University of Arizona, Dr. Francois finished her fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Cathleen Harris, M.D., M.P.H.

Cathleen Harris, M.D., M.P.H., is a graduate of the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. After graduation, she underwent residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Harris is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and travel medicine.
