I have been going to this spa/salon for the past five years for massages. It has a calming and tranquil waiting area where you wait for the attendant to bring you into the massage room. The massages are excellent! I have also begun going there this past year for hair cuts and color. I am equally as pleased with their hair salon. I have also had facials here and that too has been a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would recommend and have recommended to friends and family this salon. I have never had a negative experience with any of the employees and they do their best to give you an appointment to accommodate your schedule. They do suggest you book well in advance for hair appointments as they can be harder to come by when you do need color, but they do have other hair stylists who can pitch in and I have never been dissatisfied. I have had several facials and massages recently at Savvy. They are more than excellent. They are professional -also they are top of the line with their experience. I have had my hair blown out and conditioned. I have never had a bad expereince, consistency, is what they are about. The salon is clean, the massages are out of this world. I cannot express how they have helped me physically. Keep up the good work ladies! be . I totally would suggest you give them a try, you wont be disappointed!! JSR

I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. I have watch Savvy change from the Salon to the Salon and Day Spa. I have brought my daughters and my friends. Recently, my husband discovered that Savvy is not just for women! Together we have tried and enjoyed almost all of the services. I recently had surgery and my wife treated me to a facial to get me out of the house. It was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised with the service. It was very relaxing and just what I needed. The Spa area was very clean and Alyssa was very informative throughout the process. I will be returning for another facial in the near future. I'm a college professor new to the Charlotte area, with my first faculty meeting scheduled for the next day, and with my hair and beard having me looking like an aging hippie. (There's some truth to that, but I needed to look respectable enough to teach law students.) Over the past eight months in the Charlotte area, I have walked away from every haircut and beard trim saying to myself, "Oh, well, hair grows back and I'll try somewhere else." After reading great reviews on Angieslist, I called Savvy Salon late in the afternoon and they gave me an appointment for an hour and a half later! My young stylist, Lindsay, listened carefully as I told her what I wanted and then she asked questions to clarify my wants and make sure that she understood. As she clipped, she asked more questions and I "coached" her. I always do that with a new stylist, because my hair and beard are a bit challenging and I've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. Lindsay listened and then clipped accordingly. When I start with a new stylist, he/she MUST be coachable for me to get a good result. The others I had gone to in the Charlotte area were not good listeners or they listened to my instructions

Hello Ladies! I have been client for several years and will not go anywhere else! This salon is full of friendly, smiling, upbeat, KNOWLEDGABLE stylist. I have recommended them to all my friends and anyone that compliments me on my hair. The salon looks great. It has been renovated and updated and making the atmosphere even more relaxing. Well, I went to Savvy because I wanted to change my look. After going to many other hair cut places and been so dissapointed many times with the service they provided I decided to try one more place, Savvy Salon and Spa was rated one of the top on the internet. I email them to get an appointment and very promptly received an email back from the manager, I explained to her my bad experiences with other salons and she was so wanting to make this experience with them great that she herself gave me my new look. It took her almost 2 hrs to get my hair perfect to the last strand of hair...and it's not because she didn't know what she was doing, I just have very stubborn hair and lots of it ,she did an awesome job and made me feel like my business was important to them. lots of places out there don't even care if you come out happy, they only care about making the buck as we say. Savvy was different! they make you feel welcome from the time you step in the door to when you leave. I strongly reccommend them to anyone! I will be coming back. Thank you Pat for my new look...I love it!

I was looking for a place to get a GOOD spiral perm and found one to get a GREAT spiral perm. Not only that I got my nails done the same day. I never knew such a wonderfull place existed! They make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. I found a new home. I have already been back and plan to continue as long as I can................ MS/Charlotte

I have been going to Savvy for years and have tried a number of services. Whether for my monthly haircut or the occasional treat - like a pedicure or massage or waxing - I always enjoy my visit. All I can say, is I accompanied my college age daughter just to get her hair cut, and ended up having the best experience along with her. I ended up getting mine cut and colored as well; got a make over, limited massage..and still want more. Everyone here is so friendly; the unique team concept so works, and totally eliminates unnecessary drama. No one works on commission, so helping you, is real. This salon is all about you...so what ever this means to you, they happily comply. My daughter and I are now Savvy clients...and am telling all my friends.

This was a top notch spa from someone who has visited spas all over the world. There was a wide variety of options, flexibility when I needed to change what I wanted, and very knowledgeable staff. The owner, Pat, is an excellent role model for women who have a vision and deliver the highest quality. I don't live in the area, but I would certain recommend the spa to anyone who does whether for hair or other treatments--Bravo!

We took a group of 22 women there at one time. The staff was amazing and worked with us to get each woman the service they picked. Making 22 CEO's happy all at the same time is a chore and Savvy did it with ease. I would highly recommend this spa and I will be going back!

Everyone is very welcoming and friendly whenever I enter the salon. The stylists seem genuinely concerned about understanding what I wanted and working with me to achieve a look I want. My "fears" of trying a new salon seemed to be quickly alleviated. PJ is great for cut and styling. Michelle is wonderful with color and styling, too. Am really looking forward to having INOA color to see if it truly will help with the condition of my hair. Pat is incredible to work with for scheduling and making sure to accomodate a schedule to fit my needs. Love the salon and will be returning!

Being a licensed hairdresser myself, it is hard to find salons and spas that meet my own standards for excellence. Upon entering Savvy, I was immediately greeted and welcomed into the salon. The retail area was stunning and organized, and the waiting area was just right. I was receiving a massage as my service that day as part of a BOGO special (Which is an amazing deal!) and did not know what to expect. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. There is just no room for comparison. Deanna was very professional and performed an excellent service. She was knowledgeable about the products she was using and she was suggestive, not pushy, in recommending what to use at home. I had a wonderful experience at Savvy and have already booked a pedicure for my return!

My sisters and I visited Savvy for the first time on my birthday for some pampering and relaxation. Savvy was very accomodating when we called to schedule 6 ladies for several services within the time frame of a couple of hours. Once we checked in and were led to the spa area, I was struck by the peaceful ambience and quiet decor. Savvy is a full-fledged spa experience. It was wonderful to have a pedicure, and an incredible pedicure at that, without the world watching, and by a technician who paid attention to detail and chatted amiably. We moved comfortably from one service to the next for facials. The estheticians had recommendations based on our skins types and we actually left with "prescriptions" for Dermalogica products (if you haven't tried, you should) that would suit our individual needs. Subsequent visits for massage and OPI Axxium manicures have been just as satisfying. My husband and kids know what to get me for special occasions - Savvy gift certificates!
