Mixed feelings
I was visiting a friend from out of town and went to get a massage here. The massage was very good however they must not read the intake form because she kept trying to sell me a membership even though I was just visiting. I felt pressured and didn't like that.

Manager unresponsive/unprofessional
The one massage here I had was great! However, the manager Christina's customer service was awful. I was in a car accident and my chiropractor has told me I need to get 2 massages a week for a while as part of my treatment. The first day I called, the manager Christina was great with working with me to see if they could bill my auto insurance. However, after I got the information needed from the insurance and gave it to her, I've been getting the run around. It has now been a week and a half of being in pain (should have had at least 3 massages by now) and I still don't have a definite yes or no answer if they can bill insurance. Almost a week ago I spoke to Christina and was told, "You are at the top of my priority list, give me to the end of the day to get back with you." Heard nothing and my emails and phone messages to her since have went ignored. Very frustrated! This is not professional service. If you can't bill insurance, fine. Just let me know so I can move on and not wait in pain needing treatment for a week and a half. LIke I said the 1 massage I had was great and I was hoping to continue to go. But can't unless I know about the insurance.

my experience at Hand and Stone at Marlton
I went for the first time for a facial, a gift from my sister-in-law, and I just loved the experience. I have had many facials in the past at various places and this was one of the very best, if not the best. I would certainly recommend the experience at Hand and Stone Marlton location.

Great service
Nice place, they do push the membership but they still give a great massage!

A disgusting excuse for a spa
Spa? More like a used car dealership. All they want to do is sell you a membership. Seriously, the receptionist and Manager (Steve, I think his name was) would not stop trying to sell me a membership. I tried explaining I don't have the time or the money to get a massage often, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. They were very rude about it too, saying I "needed" a membership. No, I don't NEED anything from you, just my massage - which was a gift from a friend!! I swear, saying no to the membership affected the massage too; the girl who was working on me did not do a good job. She kept snapping her gum and sighing the whole way through, like I was taking up her time or something. I was afraid to go back to the front desk after because, sure enough, the membership salesmen fought tooth and nail for my credit card. It took me another 20 minutes arguing with them to just let me give them my gift card and leave. I don't know if they get a bonus in their paychecks for selling memberships to people who don't need them, but they really need to work on their customer service skills before I even think of going back to Hand and Stone again.

Great massage on such short notice
Was traveling in area for work and driving all day. Called to see if any openings for massage and they took me within 15 minutes. Front desk staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Waiting area is storefront. For first visit, only $40 for an hour massage and they have add ons. They have a choice of three aromatherapies, foot scrub/massage, extra time, facial, etc. My therapist, Kristen, asked what was ailing me and checked on her pressure a few times. Pretty good massage for the price. A relaxing end to my hectic day! I will go back when in area again!

Ok, But Cherry Hill Location Better
I used to go to this location (I have a membership), but every time I would start to feel comfortable with a particular therapist, the therapist would inevitably leave or be fired. So, if you go frequently just know there is high turnover of therapists here. Also, it is hit or miss whether you get a good therapist or not. Sharon B. is consistently good.
