    Pleasant Road Spa strives to provide a nurturing and tranquil environment where therapists customize treatments to each client's needs. The 1,300-square-foot spa has a feng-shui Zen-inspired atmosphere with a purple and brown color scheme, dark brown bamboo floors, curved walls, and fresh flowers highlighting spa interiors. There are also three oval-shaped treatment rooms as well as a relaxation area where clients can unwind. Services include massages, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, and Brazilian and other waxing treatments. One of the spa's signature offerings is their Signature Facial, which is a customized treatment to fit each client's skin-care needs. It incorporates cleaning, toning, extractions, a masque, a head, neck, and shoulder massage, and a pressure point foot massage. Clients who have six or more guests in their spa party can hold their event at the spa, which can be closed down for private gatherings. Spa parties feature gift bags and gift certificates.

I moved here from NY. I wanted to find a Spa that would provide quality services and where the staff made you feel comfortable. This was the second place I tried in Hoboken and I instantly noticed the difference. My first facial was done by Esther. Love her! After a year or so my wedding rolled around and I was breaking out. Three months before the date, I started treatment with Adriana. She gave me instructions (wrote them down) and didnt push anything on me which I totally appreciate. On my weding day I was acne free! This is a great Spa with super friendly people.

I went to this spa because of my friend ( we were actually first timer on this place). When I consulted with Adriana ( because i tend to have breakouts and dark spots scattered in my cheek forEhead and chin), at first i was so skeptical because the treatment was costly. But what the heck, i just tried it and consider it as a treat to myself. So Adriana put me on hyperpigmentation/ light acne treatment using the gold cosmetics. She told me everything that i have to expect while using the product. My coworker kept asking why my face was peeling and red everytime I was working- so i kept telling them that I am under treatment (and of course I get the expression that aw you r too young you shouldn't be getting those kind of treatment) but I just ignored them (lol) then after 3-4 weeks, they saw the result, hahaha they are all amazed. My face is always radiant, my dark spots are totally history,I always get good compliments from my friends, coworkers and patients :) I got 100 % satisfaction from the treatment and service I received from this spa.

I really like this spa. They have great prices and Gina is the best at massages. She gives you the right amount of pressure. They have a parking in the back of the spa which is great since Hoboken is tough to park. Join their mailing list for special offers.

I recently moved from NY to NJ, and I finally found a good addicting spa spot that I could do everything from Waxing, manicure, pedicure, skin treatments to Massages. The treatment and service is Royal! This place is addicting to come every day after work to leave everything behind and indulge on you. Be selfish and try this Spa, I highly recommend it.

I went to Pleasant Road Spa for a facial in March for their $50.00 specials. After talking with Adriana and expressing my concern of acne breakouts on my forehead and upper cheek areas, she suggested I try the Gold Products line. I'm in my late 30's and would have occasional breakouts, but this time it was just too much. With Adriana's suggestions, I started to use the Gold products as directed which included a cleanser, anti-acne treatment and an anti-scar/open pores treatment. Combined with having a weekly facial and occasional peel, my acne has cleared up TREMENDOUSLY!! I would say the process took about 3-4 weeks and I am more than pleased!! with my results. Yes, you have to follow the routine she lays out for you..and yes, there will be some peeling and slight itchiness which I experienced, but it was worth the process to me. Also, any questions or concern, Adriana is there to assist you all the way! She will call you to see how your skin is reacting and guides you all the way. Now, I can receive a facial every 6 weeks or so for maintenance. So thank you Adriana and staff!!! and look forward to seeing you next month!!

Visited this spa recently for the first time. I am no stranger to the spa experience having visited many. My opinion is that Pleasant Road is one of the finest. The entire experience was all that was promised. Our receptionist, Stacie, was wonderful. She was friendly, accommodating and could not do enough for us. I was with a friend who was going for her first massage and the entire staff made her feel at ease. My massage therapist, Gina, had "magic" hands. I have had back problems for most of my adult life and recently had back surgery. I checked all credentials and was extremely cautious in choosing a spa and therapist. Gina was a perfect choice... very professional delivering a relaxing theraputic massage. I can't wait to return. Since this was my first visit to a spa in a long time,I decided to treat myself to the February mani/ pedi special...It was a green tea pedi....It was absolutely magnificent and my mani/pedicurist, Yesenia, was a "doll,.every minute trying to ensure that I was comfortable. Treatment left my feet and legs feeling smooth and silky..Going back before the special ends. Park in back of spa. I definitely feel that I have found a little slice of heaven hidden in the back streets of Hoboken

I am a Spa hopper and this Spa is one that is on the top of my list of Spa's , I was treated with noting but courtesy and professionalism , the whole experience was excellent , love the warm inviting colors , the relaxing feeling from the time you walk in the door until you are inside getting your service ... the music was so relaxing ... I gave my daughter the prenatal massage and I had the reflexology when I was finished I did not want to walk on my feet lol ..... by the way my daughter went into labor the same day. will see you soon my Pleasant Road Spa hands

The receptionist, which should be the first indicator of the service you will receive at this spa, seems that she doesn't want to be there and it shows. She is unprofessional and has a very bad tone to her voice and body language. The rest of the staff is very professional and experienced.

Although it doesn't look like it from the location this spa is a delight. My friend gave me a gift certificate and I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful interior and professional staff.
