About Maui Zen Day Spa

Maui Zen Day Spa resembles a Zen temple in Kyoto that was transported to the Hawaiian tropics, with shoji screens and tatami mat floors highlighting the spa's interiors and a range of tropical-inspired services on the spa menu. Located in central Lahaina, the 1,000-square-foot spa has four treatment rooms and a waiting area. A variety of massage modalities such as lomi-lomi, shiatsu, Swedish, deep-tissue, sports conditioning, prenatal, reflexology, and hot stone are available and facial treatments include deep-cleaning, sun exposure, anti-aging, and men's services. The spa's Signature Zen Massage blends techniques from Hawaiian, Asian, and European traditions for a full-body massage experience. Clients experiencing the Island Zen Facial can enjoy organic Ilike skin care products and a tropical fruit hand treatment. Packages and occasional specials are also available.

I am a local resident of Maui, and this spa is fantastic.If you are looking for a low-key, relaxing massage, this is the place. Many spas on Maui are in the resorts. Resort spas are very expensive and include steams, whirlpools, lockers rooms, etc.Maui Zen is not that spa. This is very low-key and relaxing.They have nice music playing, the scents are not overpowering, and the staff is kind and caring.My friend is highly allergic, and the owner made sure that everything in her massage (the oils, the hot stones) were free of all fragrance. She even ran the stones extra in the dishwasher to make sure!They have parking (a big deal in Lahaina) and located just off of Front Street.I would recommend this spa to anyone!

My sister gave me a spa finder gift card for my birthday. I live on Maui and knew the hotel spas are very expensive. I was delighted to find Maui Zen in Lahaina was not just reasonable but the atmosphere was top of the line. It is a small spa but that made it feel more personal. The staff is experienced and knowledgeable. I can't wait to return.

While we were in Lahaina we had a rainy day and I decided to see if I could get a massage. Being a massage therapist, I didn't want to pay outrageous prices at the hotel spa so I checked my American Massage Therapy Locator service and found that the Maui Zen Day Spa in Lahaina was a certified provider.I called and they were able to fit me in on short notice for a 75-minute massage. My therapist, Catherine, was amazing. That is a huge complement because as a massage therapist myself I find it very difficult to find a therapist that can meet my expectations. She knew exactly what I needed and really was able to work out my travel tension.I was told by Virginia that the only way that they can truly compete in the Maui market is to have top notch practitioners. I have to say that my experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Maui Zen Day Spa.

I went to two spas the week I was on Maui. I would definately recoment this spa over the other larger spa.I had a massage at both and found Maui Zen to be the best.I recommed the combination zen facial and massage.

I am always looking for ways to show my wife how much I appreciate everything she is & does. Well, I succeeded with the Maui Day Zen Spa!!! I was able to surprise her (which is not easy to do). She was caught completely by surprise on & commented, it was the best treatment she has ever had! She appreciates the genuine spirit of excellence & Aloha she felt during her treatments. The staff was excellent and gave 110% to make our experience so very special. Thank you all for making it possible for her to feel appreciated!!!

The entire experience was top-notch - from the courtesy demonstrated by Virginia over the phone in booking my appointment to masseuse Rodrigo's professionalism and skill, I was very impressed and highly recommend their services!

During a recent vacation to Maui I had 2 hours of treatment at the Maui Zen Day Spa. I had an excellent massage and a facial. I have had many of these treatments over the years and this was the best massage I have ever recieved. Also my face had seen a lot of sun over the the week I had spent in Maui. The facial I had completely moistured my skin and helped with the sun damage. I would send anyone of my friends or family to this spa.

If you are looking for a hidden gem without all the corporate commerical frill...this is it!! The environment was completely calm and relaxing with an expert staff. We arrived early and were free to lounge around on the sofa and read. The staff offered us drinks and made us feel welcome as if we were in their own home. Very knowledgeable on how to treat a variety of conditions as well as just indulge your body in a total blissful experience. It was my best friend's first massage ever, and she was hooked. I loved that the spa was tucked away and it was very intimate...no one else there. Best price for one hour massage in Maui!!
