My husband got me a gift card for a massage and facial, I had never been here before so I wasn't sure what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised! I got Natasha as my massage therapist and she was WONDERFUL. When you first go in she has you put your feet in a bowl on the floor and she cleaned my feet with some sort of Aveda scrub and then poured warm water over and patted dry. She asks you about what kind of massage you would like and gets to understand what you would want. You also get to pick out of three oil scents that you would like for her to use while massaging you. I had Orange, Eucalyptus and Peppermint. I then had Andrea for my facial, Aveda products are so nice and I saw a difference in my skin immediately. I ended up purchasing some of her suggested products for my skin. I would highly recommend to anyone to please visit this salon.

The receptionist there is the most unprofessional immature person ever! She needs lessons on how to speak to clients that want specific wants and needs. I asked for a female to massage me. When she offered Luke for same day I kindly declined and said I rather have a female. She then said to me " listen he's not into you so it's ok for him to do the massage" EXCUSE ME!! I asked for a female!!!! In the first place!!! So after tell her a thing or 2, I took my business so where else!! The manager needs to teach that girl some manners. I was do offended!!!

The best thing about Salon Spa Vanessa is the loving care they offer. You can get your image renewed at their hair and Aveda beauty stations downstairs and then go upstairs to their private spa area where you can get facials, nails, and whole body therapy. Its one of the best salon type spa's you'll find. But if you're looking for a Sonoma style complete spa, that isn't available in GA to my knowledge. Go to California or elsewhere. If you're looking for rehab style spa - massage treatments, this isn't it. This is just a great retreat and pamper style spa. Good people, great environment and a nice afternoon. I've also seen many couples take the treatments together here... a nice little episode.

I love the location of this spa! The charming old house is very nice settled in Woodstock. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but that's what SpaFinders are for, right? :) My massage was wonderful, one of the best I've received around.. I loved the aromatherapy and the foot bath!
