  • About Octagon Spa & Salon

    Octagon is housed in a contemporary octagon-shaped space that represents the Chinese symbol of harmony and balance. The interiors are raspberry, orange, and shades of red with chocolate accents to promote a chic, tropical vibe. The spa has a hydrotherapy room with a treatment bath, Vichy shower, and scotch hose, facial and body treatment rooms with waterfall showers, whirlpool pedicure thrones, private wax rooms, a lash extension room, lockers, and a changing room. Services include massage, hydrotherapy, body treatments such as cocoons and wraps, a salt glow, an herbal rain polish, facials, hair removal services, and hair and nail care as well as treatments for men. Octagon hosts parties and small reunions and invites national educators to speak at least twice a year. Complimentary consultations and makeup touch-ups are available and sample skin care regimens are offered to all clients.

Horrible just horrible!

The place is small and crowded on the weekends, the staff is horrible. The girls that work at the receptionist desk don't know what they are doing. They take forever to process transactions. Their system is very old and the "manager" or supervisor has an attitude and very rude! She is also the one who controls the company and the system and its just horrible. The girls most of the time take long time to figure out how to do certain things. The owner needs a make over her self , I cant believe an owner of a salon looks horrible and her hair needs major help. Also the hair stylist dont have that great experience to be charging that much. The highest level hair dresser they have is nice but she does average job. The prices are crazy. Also the owner is horrible, she sells brand name bags and scarves around the holidays, I got embarrassed giving one of those bags to my daughter in law thinking it was real and I paid about half price for it. NO she does not tell you its fake and people buy it! It turns out to be fake brand name bag. Why do you even sell them? Is that even legal? Over all my hair is a mess from having hair cut and color there and the service is horrible. Never will going there again. Be aware!

Just wanted to thank all the ladies at Octagon you ladies are FABULOUS! I had such a wonderful time over the weekend enjoying my head to toe spa package & the limo ride was relaxing too... love the pink & zebra print! If anyone is looking for a great Spa Octagon is the place for you! The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!! I received a man/pedi from this spa. I received the Shallac nails, which were suppsed to last 2 wks. I had to go back the next day because they chipped. The french manicure was uneven on my toes as well as my nails. I had uneven nails and they didnt remove any cuticles around my nails. I paid $108 for long uneven toe nails and uneven white tips. I would have been better off doing my own manicure at home. Dont waste your time or money....

I hope you will contact the GM at Octagon, Desirae, as she will absolutely make sure that you receive the service you want and that it will be done beautifully (which is what is always expected at Octagon). You deserve it. This is such a ghastly service report and is completely out of character with the longstanding culture of excellence. Know that this is taken very seriously, will be investigated and will not happen again.

I have Fibromyalgia and other arthritic conditions and Bernadette has been a great relief to find and add to my treatment regiment. She is sensitive to my needs and very good at her job as a massage therapist!! If you go there and I advise you do, ask for her!! I hate to share this because she is hard to get as it is!!

I've been going to Octagon for hair care (ie. color, cut and extensions) for 6 years and have had a couple stylists. Vicki is the best! She keeps up on all the current trends and products to provide her clients with whatever interests they might have. Every time I've come in with a different hair style (via picture) Vicki has created the style to a tee! As far as the spa services, they are o.k. I was not impressed with the nail services (manicure and pedicure).

Vicki is good at doing what she does. I came to her with a really bad perm and color that i had no idea what i wanted to do with. I told vicki that i wanted my hair to be healthy and she helped me get my hair healthy,vicki wont use or have you buy any product that is not good for your hair. She gave me a amazing haircut and the color is great, she really knows what she doing, i felt that when i was in her hair she really listened to what i did and didnt like. So if you want amazing results and a stylist who listens to what you want go to vicki.

I have been going to Octagon Salon for almost 2 years now. I first went to get extensions by Vicki Millard. They looked so fabulous and Vicki did the most amazing job. She took her time and was so nice to be with. I've gotten my extensions out since, but I just loved Vicki so much that I continue to get my hair cut and dyed by Vicki. I just went on thursday this past week and I love it!!! I recommend Vicki to everyone , she is AWESOME!!!

Octagon is a terrific place. Friendly staff, great environment. Best of all is Renni! She's fun, creative and professional. I get lots of compliments every time she colors my hair. I've never gotten so many nice comments about my hair. Renni also makes the appointments fun. She suggests new things, but isn't pushy. She works really hard to make sure you have the style that looks best. She's awesome. You won't be disappointed.

Vicki Millard has been cuttin my hair ever since my wife threatened to divorce me if I didn't stop going to those Chain hair cutting places like Great Cuts. She threatened to talk to a barber that massacred my head. I have a goofy head with cow licks. Vivki tames the beast and makes my wife happy. She has orders from my wife to not cut it too short. My wife goes to her also for color, cut and extensions. Vickie is very good at what she does. She keeps my hair looking great and my wife happy. I hate getting haircuts, but Vickie makes getting a haircut painless. She gets me in and out. Most important she makes my wife happy.

Vicki Millard is the best stylist I have every gone to. She is a professional in every since. She does my hair the way I like it done & makes me feel that I have been treated special. She will go above & beyond to make me feel uplifted & beautiful when I walk out the door. She gives her all & continues to gain additional knowledge by attending hair demonstrations & classes to keep up with the modern trends & products that best suite our needs. She is especially talented person & has foresight. She will organize photo shoots, not only for herself, but will include her fellow associates so their work can be published in international hair books. Vicki is a leader and adventurist.

I got hair extensions at Octagon with Vicky Milard and they are TOP QUALITY!! I have been getting extensions for 8 years to add bulk to my thin hair and to extend the length. Vicky is the BEST I have ever been too!! I would recommend Vicky to anyone that is interested in getting hair extensions! I have done the homework, and there is NO ONE out there better!

I have been going to Octagon Spa Salon for many years. The reason I keep returning to this salon is my hair stylist Vicki Millard. She is one of the best out there. I always walk out of the salon feeling even better than I did the time before. In fact, my husband (each time) tells me this was his favorite style time and time again. I have gone super short and super long with extensions and Vicki has come through no matter what the task.

I have been going to Vickie Millard for over 6 years. She has grown in experience and I have never looked better. People always ask me who does my hair. I have weird curly hair and she knows how to keep it looking good. She has given me extensions several times with great success. She always recommends what is good for me and throws in many special touches; like a free blue touch of hair with my extensions for that perfect cool touch. You name it and Vickie has done it to my hair. She has also done my nails, my daughter-in-laws eyebrows, my son's hair and keeps my husband looking hot. He always says he doesn't want to spend the money, but keeps going back, because her haircuts last a long time and she gets him "in and out". I have used all of the services and the prices for hair products are very comparable.

I've been going to Vicki for over 2 years. She is an excellent colorist and her cuts are the best. I've always had problems with my color -- she takes time at each appointment to review how it's wearing and makes tweaks when necessary. She listens to me and makes my appointments fun!

My pedicure and manicure gave me the lift I need from the winter blues. Caitlin McCann was professional, friendly and knows her stuff! My hair stylist, Jen Fulham always shows me that being pampered is something everyone deserves. Jen helps me to keep a style that is appropriate for a Mother of a 14 month old. I have never had a bad experience.

Octagon is the place to go! The atmosphere is cool, the staff is very friendly and my stylist Yahaira (Yari) gives me a great cut each and every time (and trust me i'm a very picky guy haha). Definitely worth the hour-plus drive! :)
