Had their couples massage and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambience was great, lighting was perfect, not too dim or bright which gave a calming effect, and the temperature was just right. And of course, the actual massage was just awesome - pressure was perfect, and I felt my muscles much more relaxed by the time it was over. Great service and value for what you receive!

I found out about this place from Living Social, as they had a special on a spa mani and deluxe pedi. So my friend and I scheduled an appointment for the same day. We were given a warm and friendly greeting and offered water or tea. We were then taken to a separate area where the mani/pedis are done. I really loved the atmosphere, it was so warm and tranquil. Bessy and Maria alternated between the 2 of us for our mani/pedi. I loved that they used all OPI products and they all felt fantastic. They were both so friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all and felt totally relaxed. Bessy is the owner and she seemed to be so knowledgeable & passionate about everything. The location is on San Gabriel Blvd and Las Tunas. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it, as it's tucked away between a few other businesses in a pale yellow business building. If you're traveling north on San Gabriel, it's on your left hand side. It's right before the Friar Tux shop sign. There's 2 hour street parking in front and also a few spots in the back for parking. Overall, a great experience and I'm looking forward to trying out some of their other services like facials, massage and brow waxing. They also offer specials & memberships!

My sister treated our other sister and myself to a facial. We decided the three of us would go and make a day of it. Bessy gave me the facial and it was great. She did a terrific job and explained everything she was doing. Will definitely be going back.

I went in for a facial after purchasing a deal via Amazon local. Clean atmosphere with knowledgeable staff. I received a facial from Crystal, who pampered my skin. I received tons of compliments from friends and family who said my skin "was glowing". I typically have facials done 1x/month and no one seems to notice. I am considering switching my current esthethician to Crystal at Agua de Vida.

I have never had a massage or facial. My wide decided to give me something different this year. She treated me to a spa day and I loved it! I would love to go again

Ive been too many places for a mani-pedi and none can compare to Agua De Vida. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I was very pleased and would definitely go again and highly recommend this place to friends and family:)

My boyfriend and I had originally tried this place due to a groupon we found. We have since been back again. The spa is relaxing and the staff is welcoming. Maria and Bessy gave great massages followed by champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries. They are eager to please and offer the services to back their promises. I look forward to my next visit.

I came here with my boyfriend on a rainy Saturday with a voucher from living social. We were greeted w/ champagne and the receptionist was nice and helpful. I was overall very pleased with my experience. My masseuse was great. Her leg and foot massage took me straight to dream land. I left feeling very relaxed and my headache disappeared. I would definitely come here again. At the end of our massage, there were chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. I recommend trying this place if you haven't already.

I took my boyfriend with the valentines day groupon. My massage Therapist massaged with one hand for most of the first 25 minutes as she texted with her other hand. My boyfriend said his massage Therapist was doing the same but obviously pulled it off better because mine used two fingers on one part of my should for 6 minutes straight. Very displeased with the service. We waited 10+ minutes in the room and then did not get the full 60 minutes. I tipped them because I felt rude not to but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Even though someone comes in with a groupon, we should still receive the same treatment. At 99 for the couple, our massages were not even worth ten dollars. It was a disappointing morning as someone who has gone for numerous massages and even lives with someone in massage school. I know good massage and agua de vida did not deliver.

Had a Manicure and Pedicure, the atmosphere was so relaxing.. The staff very polite... You just have to experience it for yourself.... .

I've been to a lot of different spas through out my travels around the world and this spa by far is one of the best. I am very impressed in more ways than one. It has great customer service as I was very well attended to. I've been here more than once and figured after this great of service I would take the time to write a review. I've also brought my mother here as this place is great for someone who wants to be really taken care of. I'll definitely be coming back here as the massage and facials here are like no other.

Who would have thought such a gem could be found in the heart of San Gabriel! I had one of the best pedicures that I've ever had with Bessy. She is a true professional and very knowledgeable in her field. I would definitely recommend Agua De Vida Spa to all my family and friends.

I had a deep tissue massage and a manicure & pedicure and I enjoyed the treatment very much. Maria did the massage and she worked really hard on my totally kinked up upper back muscles and I felt a lot better afterwards. Bessie did the mani-pedi and she was very sweet and low-key and took her time to do the job well. The ambiance in the spa is very pleasant and relaxing, no bright lights and hustle-bustle like in some other salons. Over all, it was a very calming and pleasant experience. I would like to go back but not sure if I will as their prices are quite high, that is the one thing that will probably keep me from becoming a regular, otherwise, everything was really great.

I was impressed with all the great reviews and excited to try a new place in the San Gabriel Valley. I called tonight to make an appointment. I wanted to schedule a 60 minute pregnancy massage. The person who I spoke with said she would call me back in 10 minutes. That was at 6:38 p.m. She never called me back! I was very disappointed - definitely not a good first impression.

Wow! What a great experience! Got there with the hubby for massages for both of us followed by a mani/pedi for me. Soft music is very relaxing. LOVE the robe! I want one for home. They offered tea and fruit! Bessy is great and she really knows what she is doing. Iris was very sweet and did a great mani/pedi. Already made my next appointment. Make your appt at least a week or so ahead of time.

Both me and my wife spend the afternoon at this spa and came out with a very relaxing feeling. Besides that, we both have the same conclusion about the place - very competent and professional staff. Furthermore, the place has a very clean environment with a relaxing and smoothing music. It took us awhile to find a place like this and would surely want to return in the near future.

As soon as you walk into the spa, the subtle aroma from the oils and candles help you feel calm and relaxed. Customer service is and treatments are excellent! Will definelty go back will share this place with girlfriends.

I absolutely am in Heaven when I am at Agua de Vida Spa! As most successful women are, I am very busy & cherish time spent on myself. And Agua de Vida does not disappoint. I always feel both relaxed & rejuvinated to take on the World again. I so enjoyed my visit to Agua de Vida spa! This spa concentrates on people and meeting their needs. It was a delight to find a business with "customer first" attitude. Aqua de Vida is the best kept secret in San Gabriel. I have experienced a facial, a massage and several manicures and pedicures. I will never go anywhere else. The owner ensures that every client is well cared for and the Spa atmosphere is exceptional.

Agua de Vida is probably one my best finds in the SGV. There are so many nail and footspas in San Gabriel that we often ask ourselves..."is this place clean or legit.". Rest assured this spa has everything there is to offer and more. The owner does such a great job in keeping her clients happy. Every single message therapist I have tried at this spa have been excellent. The facilitiy is super clean and comfortable and the staff is unbelievably professional. The atmosphere feels comparable to a BH spa. I would highly recommend this place to any spa enthusiasts. Maryann C

I chose Agua de Vida Spa as the place to use my Spafinder GC after reading so many positive reviews, and I can definitely see why people love this place. I received a warm welcome immediately after I entered, and right away I was impressed...the spa is clean, the lights are dim, and the music is soothing, which all contributes to the comforting, relaxing atmosphere. I booked a spa manicure and spa pedicure, and Bessie did a great job at making my hands and feet look great! She really took her time-you can tell she's a perfectionist-and also explained all the products she used. (They use OPI and Zoya products.) I loved my experience here and I can't wait to try their other services. It was such a great place to destress and be pampered for a few hours!

Ive been coming here for the pass two years for pedicure and I absolutely would recommend this place to anybody who wants a relaxing spa experience. It is very clean and the atomosphere just puts you at ease and helps you unwind after a long week at work. You don't feel rushed like other nail salons and its not noisy which is very important if you just want some time to yourselft to relax. Music they play here is great too

I went to this spa last weekend and I booked an appointment for a 60 minute swedish massage. The girl said they were booked but she could fit me in. My massage was at 2:30. I got there at 2:00. I am always punctual. Two ladies arrived before me and they ask all 3 of us to fill out physical questionare which was weird. They finally take me in until 2:45. Keep in mind they are running late. Then the girl who is supposed to give me a massage tells me I was booked for only a NECK, BACK, and SHOULDER MASSAGE. I corrected her and told that I booked a swedish massage. The bed was not warm. She only spent 5 minutes on my back. She used lotion instead of oil. It was the WORST massage I received in my life. I was cold the whole time the girl did not turn up temperature. Instead she brought a wet towel and put it underneath my back. I could also hear the conversation the ladies were having in the salon. It was not relaxing at all. I was very unhappy with my service. The massage girl needs to get retrained on giving massages.

I work many hours and have little time to 'pamper' myself. I had an extra long and stressful week and decided it was time to indugle so I scheduled my appointment at Agua de Vida Spa. The staff is friendly, the Spa is quaint, clean and well decorated. The manicurist was excellent. She was detailed, precise and did not rush through my manicure and pedicure. This was the first time that I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line at the 'typical' manicure place. The music was relaxing, good selection of reading material and they even served me my favorite - tea!! The manicure places that I had been to in the past never once offered a cup of water!! I will never get a manicure or pedicure anywhere else. I am officially hooked!! I can't wait to try their other spa treatments. Thanks Agua de Vida Spa!!!!

I took my Mom to the Spa on Mother's Day. The staffs are very professional, they let us know there was a delay and the reason. It a little bit hard to find the parking but the service I got was EXCELLENT! The price is very reasonable. I am for sure to going back again!

Need a place to escape and feel the comfort of an expert at work---you must visit AGUA DE VIDA SPA. Just one visit will get you hooked. Bessy knows her products and truly gets to know the individual needs of the client. I have been to other spas, but this one provides so much that I have now made it my one and only place to go for spa services. I usually make my appointments during the week. After leaving the spa, I always feel as if I just had the weekend off! Bessy truly has a passion for her work and a genuine concern for her clients. Thank you Bessy!

I took my daughter to Agua De Vida for her 30th birthday present. We both were PAMPERED with Deluxe Manicurea and Pedicures. WHAT A TREAT!! We were greeted so warmly and attended to in such a personal and professional manner. The Spa is SPOTLESS - which is of utmost important to both me and my daughter! We were BOTH given the Royal treatment - even though it wasn't even my birthday! It was the most relaxing, de-stressing afternoon I have spent in months! Owner, Bessie Lim, and Silvia, both take such care with their clients. They make sure they are listening to what you want and they also make GREAT recommendations. Their work is so careful and detailed. My daughter kept looking at her fingers and toes and commenting on how they had never looked so beautfiul when she left any other spa or salon! We are already making plans to return very soon! We want to experience ALL the other services now! THANK YOU, BESSY AND SILVIA! You made my daughter's birthday incredibly special!

I am new to the area and was running late (how annoying for them), but I as I called them on the phone, the staff were so sweet in helping me find it. It's a small quaint spa. It's very clean and nicely decorated. I felt very pampered from multiple small details. I was offered hot tea at reception and given a small bottle of water as I left. Bessy, who did my facial was informative, gentle and attentive. We joked that she wasn't someone who would "go outside for a smoke" while my mask dried. I wasn't given the hard sell for their facial products, which I appreciated, but yet was still given samples and a brochure. They also have fun creative specials going on. One that I will definitely be checking out is the Wednesday Girls' Night Out with pedicure, movie and champagne for $35 per person (for groups of 3 or more). How fun is that?

This is an amazing spa and I would highly recommend gong. I am 18 years old and gave struggled with acne but this the help of Agua de Vida spa I have found the support I never knew existed. The atmosphere is completely relaxed and the people are so welcoming. You are surrounded by highly trained professionals that know exactly what they are doing so you can be sure that "number one" is always you.

I have been to other spas connected with country clubs and this experience was wonderful and relaxing. Sylvia, my masseuse had very strong fingers, was concerned when I mentioned I was sore, and spent one hour even when I was late. The office is much smaller than the country clubs, but the office was soothing and I had a great experience. I will go back again. Nikki

I have never been to a spa before but when I decided to go to Agua de Vida Spa I was surprised by the profesionalism way that I was approached. The service was very excellent. On that day I had a manucure and a pedicure and never felt rushed, the staff was very courteous, experienced,and perfectionist up to the very last detail.A relaxing and stress free environment.I am planning to return to the spa again in two weeks for a facial.I am a very demanding customer and I am happy to say that my experience at Agua de VIDA Spa was excellent.NG.

I have frequented Agua de Vida Spa many times this year. The owner is a perfectionist when it comes to manicures and pedicures and I have had both regular and french. Be sure to allocate over an hour for each and you will not be disappointed. They are very personable and you do not feel like you are being rushed. I have heard that the facials are the best so I am trying that out next week!

ok i admitted i am a man do like to have facial and pedicure and i been many places around this area but never had anything like this. they really did good job by cleaning my toe nail really well and the facial was excellent and relaxing. this is my new place for relaxation. i will recommend this place to everyone. once you try then you know what i'am talk about
