My sister and I got the Tropical Blossom Body Treatment. It was awwwmmmaazziinngg! I did not have enough time to relax on their sauna and jacuzzi but I did see them and they looked clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will be going here again.

This spa has parking in a lot behind the building so it is not necessary to stress over street parking. I have been to this spa 3 times and have never had a problem finding a place to park. There are the usual amenities and facilities (whirlpool, sauna, steam room, relaxation room), which are not very big but it seems that the spa never book more people than can be comfortably accommodated so there is no problem with the smaller space.Water and tea is provided but the food available are snacks that one might find at a bar so if you prefer fresh fruits, you might need to eat before you go to the spa or bring your own food.I have had several treatment packages and have not had to break my bank account in order to have these services. The services are also not 'you get what you pay for' because, despite not having to pay a lot, the services are excellent.Spa Xanadu has also recently launched their own line of products, such as lotions and body mists, which they sell in their salon area where they also sell various types of skincare products.

I called to book a couples package and told the girl i'd like to try that facilitiy myslef first. She told me about a three service package, but she she didn't have a slot for the massage. I needed a pedicure really bad and its close to my home. She told me that it was really slow so it wouldn't be a problem for me to come 30 minutes before my pedi to try out the facilities. I arrived and just when I was in the jacuzzi the girl comes in and tells me that she can fit me in for the massage now and that if I didn't get the package, i'd have to pay $25 above my pedi. I told her that I couldn't cause I have appointments now and also assured her that I'll book the couples package. She hurried out and hurried back in to interuppt me yet again and said that the owner said it wasn't okay and had to charge me the 25. I was furious and asked her if she was seriously coming back to press this issue while i was naked. I was getting out. I rinsed off and dressed. I went to the owner and i explained nicely and told her what her worker said. She said that she's not the worker and flat out said no. Trust me guys, it's the principle. This lasted for 10mins and in front of customers. I never write reviews. Reading others and I now know i'm not alone.

This place provides very poor customer service. It's a wonder it's still open considering the owner's attitude. It all started a year ago: my husband and I went there for a couple's massage in June of 2009; the couple using the spa amenities before us took longer than expected, so we had to wait a long time. Finally, they let us use the women's locker facilities for a very short amount of time. After our massages, we were not able to use the spa facilities together since other customers were there. We expressed our disappointment and were offered a $43.50 credit for our next service. I forgot about the credit until I received an email about their summer specials this year. I called to make an appointment, and confirmed that I still had a credit of $43.50 there. I also had a Spa Finder gift certificate that Spa Xanadu said I could NOT use for summer specials. I went for my service (mani, pedi, and 1-hr massage) and was not offered a robe, slippers, or even the use of the locker room; I was asked to undress in the massage room. Tacky and unprofessional! On top of that, the owner charged me the full price without applying the credit - she said it expired. I told her that I called to make the appointment and confirmed that I had the credit - otherwise, I wouldn't have come in. She was very rude and asked me to explain why I had a credit since it did not show any details in her computer system. After explaining the situation to her, she still said it expired and would not honor it. I explained again that I wouldn't have come in for a service if I had known the credit expired. Then she reluctantly agreed to apply the credit (and still tried to over-charge me $10). All this negative publicity for $43.50!! That's not a way to run a business!

My husband took me here for my birthday a couple of months ago, it was the best. Not only did we have our own private spa, but the package included everything. We had a massage (hot and cold jade stone) that alone was wow! We also had a facial hydro bath and foot reflexology. He told me that they let him customize his own package so we could have what we wanted. It was really amazing the best part is if you're a first time client they give you a coupon to come back and receive 20% off. That was a just a bonus to come back. Overall I would tell everyone to visit it was great can't wait to go back.

I've been a massage therapist for 5 years and have worked in days spas through out my career. I am not picky when it comes to services and don't critique every little thing whenever I visit other spas but this spa deserves this review. I visited Xanadu a while ago and my experience wasn't what I had hoped for. The spa itself is great in size. The decore is so so(looks cheap). The amenites are good(steam, sauna, showers, lockers) but the robes and slippers they provided looked really old. My robe was even stained from to much wear and my slippers looked like they're 10 years old. Also, the sheet they used to cover the bed had oil stains and the seams were coming apart. Thank goodness my therapist was good and very nice. There were also a lot of distractions. One therapist working there wore high heal shoes that were very loud(they have tile floors) and you can hear them while in the treatment room. They also speak a lot of chinese, which is fine, but when you're trying to relax and you hear a lot of chatter in chinese, it's not very relaxing. My therapist was good but other than that, not the best place to go.

I received a coupon for a free facial and the website listed Spa Xanadu as one of the participants. I called them to make sure they accepted the coupon. The person said yes we take the coupon and asked me for the code written on the coupon. The day before my service I received a confirmation for the appointment. When I arrived at the spa they informed me that they would not honor the coupon. They said sorry, but the person who answered the phone was new. I find this hard to believe since he knew to ask for the code on the coupon. They said I was welcome to still have the service, but did not offer me any discount whatsoever. The spa was almost 30 miles from my home so I wasted an hour just driving. They said that they had left me a message and when I got home I found that they had called me 10 minutes before I was supposed to arrive at the spa. The whole reason I enjoy going to a spa is to relax, this experience did just the opposite. I understand that they are not required to honor coupons, but they should make sure that all of the employees are aware of what offers they will offer. I was going to book my appointment online, but I called to make sure that they would honor the coupon. I found it to be very poor customer service and will certainly not visit Spa Xanadu again.

I treated myself to a relaxing birthday gift. I was greeted with a friendly smile and treated well. The surroundings were great with relaxing music and the staff that I had contact with (2) were friendly. I enjoyed the whirlpool spa for 20 minutes before having a 60 minute deep tissue massage. They even gave me a cup of tea before and after my seaweed wrap and facial. The woman giving me the massage was great and the whole exprience was wonderful.. I now know where to go locally when the need arises.
