About Massage Envy- Moon Valley
Massage Envy strives to make massage available to clients at convenient times and affordable prices in a comfortable setting. The spa's focus is on massages customized to each client's individual needs. Massage Envy offers a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish, deep-tissue, hot stone, trigger point, injury, sports, and prenatal. Services are performed by licensed massage therapists in treatment rooms equipped with a padded massage table with a warming blanket and a chair and shelf for clients' personal belongings. Massage Envy hosts an annual Massage for the Cure event each year by giving clients a free massage on a certain day in exchange for a donation to the Susan G. Komen Phoenix chapter. A membership program including special massage rates is also available.

I love, love, love walking in the doors at this Spa and knowing that I can completely relax; the therapists are professional and the staff are on their toes so I can just be.

My favorite massage therapist is Dave - his fingers know how to untangle those knots in my back without causing pain; he is sensitive to whether I want to talk or be silent; and he always treats me with the utmost respect.
Kathy is my favorite beautician - she is great at regenerating my skin with Murad products and I just love her professionalism and perky attitude.
I also love that the staff know me by name and are always willing to accommodate my schedule. This is my GoTo place to relax and renew - thank heavens for these wonderful folks!

One of the massage therapists was recommended to me, and she was great (Crystal). Not talkative (which I liked), but asked pertinent questions to make sure pressure was good etc.
However, the front lobby experience is almost enough to keep me away. First, it was really busy. It wasn't relaxing - just loud.
After a great massage, I went to pay and was asked if I was interested in coming back. My response was yes, but apparently that means the front desk staff floods you with a sales script to buy the membership .I said no because my job was ending, so that wasn't possible nor did I want my account information on record and someone accessing it for the fees. I was then told if I came back I'd have to pay the non-member fee (no kidding - right?!),. Did I want to sign up(Answer again= no).
Was asked why not & I told them because after my massage relaxed me, the exchange at the front desk had "un-relaxed me" so I wasn't in the mood to discuss further. The response to refusal is apparently "I'm sorry you feel that way". The front desk/lobby experience is a ridiculous and I'd NEVER consider membership now. 3 stars because Crystal's great- front desk experience = zero stars.

they ask what you would want in a massage I asked for someone who did not talk during massage.I told the girl at the desk, wrote on the paper told the guy who massaged me. The guy woke me out of relaxed state to ask what I paid for rent. because I lived close.
