Bad-mannered Receptionist

I Went to the Norchwich spa with two friends in November, to get massages. We came from two hours away and were two minutes late for our appointments. We really felt bad about running late. Right as we walked into the spa, we were rudely reminded that we were late by the receptionist. No a hello or anything, just hurry up and get back there and get undressed. Her customer service skills were obviously lacking, she was very impolite, and unwelcoming. The massage was great and everyone else was very nice to us. The whole time we couldn't help but feel really uncomfortable about being late, because of the girl at the front desk. I think its safe to say she ruined our experience. We had never been to Foxwoods before and we never had massages before, so we were already uncomfortable. She absolutely didn't make us feel welcome.

Had my hair cut today and also enjoyed the spa facilities. Service was great and salon talent very good with pleasant conversation to boot. I will return tomorrow for a facial or massage. They place auto tip at 15% which I think shortchanges some personnel. Cheers Bill Woods

Not high class

The luxurious robes are more like worn out towels and used slippers. No one brings you anywhere they just point in the direction to go by someone you can hardly understand. When done with your massage they hand you a bottle of water. The atmosphere is more like a Walmart waiting room with coffee pot and creamers. Paper cups for your coffee really is this luxury?? Nothing special about this place. Um very dissapointed. I brought my daughter and sister who came out from California we cane here at 8;30 am no breakfast and lots of space between tasks which is how I feel they are performing tasks with little enjoyment. The girl who did my massage smelled of smoke not very pleasant don't waste your time or money. I'll plan on going to a small "real" spa next time. A complete waste of my day

I have enjoyed my services at this spa. The facilities are very nice, up to date and clean. There doesn't seem to be a wide variety of services but the ones that they do offer are excellent. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful.

Casinos Aren't Just for Gambling!

Spend some time at this spa next visit. Top notch services and ammenities. I had a 50 minute massage that was outstanding. The ONLY complaint I had was the check-in. The employee was working alone, not happy about it - and let me know about it. I wasn't there to hear about her drama - I was there to leave my own behind. So, if you want to leave the casino a winner - spend some time here before you leave. I'm going back this week and going to try another service.
