Built on the site of a cenote, surrounded by lush jungle, the 89,000-square-foot Spa Grand Velas Riviera Maya has created what it calls a "journey for the senses," complemented by the faint smell of aromas and soft light of candles. A variety of services, including massage, body wraps, facials, and holistic therapies, are performed in one of 40 treatment rooms, and each treatment includes the hour-long Water Journey designed around the spa's eight hydrotherapy fixtures.
