  • About Blue Water Spa

    Blue Water Spa focuses on the health and well-being of the skin and body with special attention to making the whole process relaxing and recharging. There are seven treatment rooms as well as a private entrance, with fresh flowers, and aromatherapy oils adding to the spa's relaxing atmosphere. Dedicated staff members perform services including Hyperbaric Oxygen Infusion Facials, Diamond microdermabrasion, glycolic facials, Japanese hot stone massage, and a Vanilla Brown Sugar Body Scrub. The spa's Signature Facial incorporates ultrasonic vibrations that loosen blackheads, dirt, and dead skin. All facials include deep-pore cleansing with extractions, massage of the face, neck, shoulders, and arms with heated mitts and reflexology on the feet. The spa hopes that clients have an "amazing experience."

This past Saturday I went to Blue Water for a basic glycolic facial during their spa week. I felt great when I left and could tell my face is better since the treatment, now that it is a couple days later. I am planning on going back in a few weeks for a follow-up. I highly recommend this spa.

I had a very relaxing massage at Blue Water Spa a Birthday treat from my daughter. Summer was the masseuse and she did a great job. I have had massages before but I loved how she went from head to toe - was totally relaxing. The place is very nice inside. They have you lie on a warm heated pad. Nice aroma and soft music . I also had a foot scrub and hand scrub which left my hands and feet so soft. I would definitely recommend the place.

I went to this spa for a brazilian wax. This wasn't my first brazilian waxing, but I had chosen to try this spa after reading all the reviews. I was very pleased with my visit, their staff is very knowledgable and helpful. I used to go to my local nail salon but my waxing, which charged $30 a visit, so the higher price of $65 for a full brazilian at Blue Water Spa is a bit of a change. However, I will definitely be booking all my brazilian waxes here from now on.

It was fortuitous that I found this spa. The moment I walked in the calm, peaceful, serene atmosphere was welcoming. Booked a signature facial & microdermabrasion with hyperbaric infusion facial serums. Was impressed with Rachel's knowledge and professionalism. Often spas will push for you to purchase their products. Rachel did not do this. I left with 2 serum samples. The effectivenesss of the serums speak for themselves and I plan to go back to purchase them as well as book another treatment. Two friends complimented me today on how nice my skin looked! I highly recommend Blue Water Spa.

I had the pleasure of getting a facial done by Rachel the owner of Blue Water Spa. The atmosphere was relaxing and homey not clinical at all. She offered me cheese, grapes and water for the few minutes I had to wait. Rachel seemed very knowledgeable about skin care and gave me a great facial along with a shoulder, hand and foot message. When she was done she gave me samples to try along with directions with no pressure to buy anything. Cant wait to go back!

I am originally from Brazil where this method was invented and I know a thing or two about waxing. I can see why this spa was voted "Best Day Spa" by Long Island Press in 2011. From the moment I walked in, the tranquil atmosphere and super friendly staff made me instantly feel relaxed. I had an amazing prenatal massage done by Judy, who is a true master of her craft. Judy eased away all of the aches and pains associated with pregnancy (I'm in my ninth month so there are many) and I left there feeling like melted butter. I can't wait to go back!

I had my first wax done at Blue Water Spa, and it was not what I expected. I thought that it was going to be really uncomfortable, and I was extremely nervous. As soon as I walked in and talked to Rachel (the owner and esthetician) my nerves were at ease. She made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything she was doing. This experience was definitely worth it, and I plan on going back!

I rarely write reviews of anyting but I felt the need to with Blue Water Spa and it's owner Rachel. I went wtih 2 friends for a Spa Party. We were greeted by Rachel and then brought into a cozy private room. Yummy fresh fruit and then a bottle of Cava, robes to change into and time to relax...then came the wonderful facial (done by Rachel)! My friends both said their massages were amazing and that the therapists were really great. Overall a blissful couple of hours!

Everyone very professional & pleasant - Facial I had was excellent, and I have had many. Wasn't just a cleanse, mask, massage, good-bye. It was cleansing, treatment, relaxing, and my skin still looking good a few days later. Hands, feet and shoulders worked on too. When done, I scheduled a facial for the next month, and I never do that. I want these treatments to last as I am getting a little older and feel that the facial I had has made a difference. Rachel, the owner, did my facial and she was thorough, helpful and did an excellent job on my skin.

I recently had my first 2 Brazilian waxes at Blue Water Spa. The first one hurt...a lot! I think I was kind of a baby about it, but Rachel assured me that I did great. I left thinking that I might or might not get another one, but after seeing the result I knew that I had to go back! My skin was so smooth and soft and no ingrown hairs. It took a few weeks for the hair to grow back and it grew in much thinner and finer. After 7 weeks I decided to go back for a second time. The second time was actually a great experience. Rachel explained all the benefits of waxing versus shaving and distracted me with conversation during the waxing. The second time around really didn't hurt. It was a little uncomfortable, but like I said before, the 20 minutes or so that you're uncomfortable is SO worth the result!

My daughter gave me and her grandmother a gift certificate for facials. I have had facials before but nothing so wonderful as I had here. The entire experience was very positive and I look forward to the next visit. My mother hadn't had a facial since she was in London. She commented that the experience here was better than at Harrods. These gals are fantastic and so very friendly.

I am so happy to have found Blue Water, I believe it truly is the best day spa on Long Island. A friendly staff, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuine owner (Rachel), and upscale but cozy atmosphere make you feel right at home. The service is outstanding; I felt like I was in good hands from the moment I met Rachel and, after just five or six visits, have the healthiest and smoothest skin of my life! I never thought I needed to improve my skincare routine; it wasn't until I began noticing bumps on my skin that I decided to seek professional advice. I trusted Rachel from the beginning, and with her guidance, have added monthly facials, active serum and microderm abrasion to my skincare routine. I love the way my skin looks now, and I've never been able to say that before. My advice? Get an evaluation at Blue Water, and stick to the care suggested. I am so glad I did!

If you want a truly relaxing experience then this is the place. I did a lot of spa research before I made my appt at Blue Water. I was very fortunate to have Rachel, the owner perform my scheduled facial.. I found her to be very down to earth, extremely caring and considerate about skin care.. She took the time to talk to me about my skin care, without rushing me out the door. I am over 50 and still get those occasional break outs here and there. She sent me home with some samples to try and I already notice a difference in my skin after a few days . I could have gone to a bigger and more extravagant place but I am glad I came here instead. I am going to be seeing a lot more of Rachel and Blue Water in the future. Michele K

I've had terrible, acneic skin for most of my life, and thought I was a "hopeless case" when I came here for my first facial. Lynn, one of the estheticians, not only reassured me and helped explain what I'd been doing wrong, she had my skin almost completely turned around in about a month! Every treatment I've had has been relaxing, and I've seen the results almost immediately. The atmosphere here is also fantastic - very private, very pretty - and you feel like you're their most important client every time you go in. I would absolutely, unequivocally recommend this spa to anyone!

I went to Blue Water Spa after receiving a gift certificate to spa finder. I am so happy with my decision to go to Blue Water Spa. First of all the friendly service really set the pace for the entire experience, the robe and socks were some of the softest things to ever touch my body, that alone will bring me back. The foot rub at the end sealed the deal. I will be back, and highly recommended it!

I loved my microdermabrasion facial! First, Lynne analyzed my skin and confirmed my choice of treatment. This facial left my skin so glowing and moist that my mom wanted to know what I had done to it. The whole experience at Blue Water is peaceful, pleasant and purposeful. The products used were top quality but not pushed upon the customer, as in other spas. I was so comfortable in my plush socks and wrap that I could've fallen asleep, but I didn't want to miss the next scentsational step in the facial. Not only will I return, but I will bring friends who are amazed that there is a place like this so close to home!

I have been searching for a spa that isn't a "factory" like some of the corporate places I've been to, forever. From beginning to end the experience was amazing, My facialist Toni-Lee gave me the best facial, she talked about my skin, but also made me so relaxed. She gave me extras and didn't try to up sell me the whole time. I cannot wait to go back, I am finished searching for the perfect spa as I have found it at this little gem in Oyster Bay.
