As I wrote before, Lydia's hands are truly magnificent. The treatments are always wonderful and she makes one feel very relaxed. Lydia always throws in a little "extra" as she wants her clients to feel great. And I do, everytime I am there and when I leave. In this very hectic world we live and work in, this is the time when I relax and am pampered. I highly recommend anyone needing some alone and pampering time, to go see her. That being said, my very damaged skin from younger years is improving a great deal. I am truly pleased with the results. This woman knows what she is doing!

I have been there five times and each time have been treated like royalty. Lydia, the esthetician, is the best I have had so far. Her treatments, and hands, are the best. The radiofrequency treatments are wonderful and my skin texture seems to be improving. Also had microdermabrasion and peel which were wonderful. I will keep going back and highly recommend to anyone needing some pampering. Lydia always throws in something extra which both my skin and myself love, like a neck and shoulder massage.

I first found out about miami detox spa from groupon when I purchased for a teeth whitening session. From my very 1st appointment it was a great experience. The staff is amazing. I recently went back for a facial and the Yonka products are great because nothing irritated my skin thankfully because I have very sensitive skin. I also started the ultrasonic cavitation. I will say at 1st I was ify because I've had 3 kids and although I workout daily my lower abdomen is stubborn. I am very glad I took Suzette's advice (miami detox spa staff member) and tried it. After the 1st treatment I saw some immediate results and saw my skin slightly tighter my pants around my lower abdomen felt a little loose. I'm anxious and excited to see the end results. I will definitely continue to go for all my spa needs because not only is the staff amazing but their services and prices as well.

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Lydia and she was GREAT! She made me feel at ease during my ultrasonic cavitation procedure. Lydia explicitly detailed the benefits of the procedure. Lydia is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work and patients. The service was great and for a busy office, that's a hard quality to pull off. I felt comfortable and the atmosphere was really nice. I will most certainly visit Miami Detox and Spa again for future procedures. I had immediate results and it made me feel like a million bucks. I will definitely refer others to Miami Detox and Spa.

I am shocked to even see a negative review for this spa. I have been a client here for 4 months now and have received excellent service and care from the staff. The one time they were running late they offered me a free dry sauna session while I waited because they were behind on schedule which is usually due to customers do not showing up on time for their appointments. They never cut from your time or service and have even provided some sort of freebie at times during your visit. I've dealt with Lydia and Suzzette which are great and have tried there following services: dry sauna, ultrasonic cavitation and foot detox. So far I have loved every service and have seen results!! I'm even going back to try the hydrating facial! Love this place and highly recommend it!!

The environment is relaxing and friendly, and the staff is experienced and professional. I have always felt great after each and every visit, and always look forward to my next visit.

My first appt. was great...but apparently that was just for show b/c my successive appts afterwards were subpar to say the least. My 2nd appt experience consisted of abour a 40 minute wait (yes, the tech was VERY late). While i was waiting, the manager put me in a room and I sat there like an idiot not knowing why i was in this room since it wasn't the room where the procedure would be done. Apparently the lady forgot about me (for about another 20 mins) -- she was going to offer me free dry sauna while i waited since the tech was taking so long. Anyway, so i'm in this sauna for like 5 mins then get my procedure done (i paid for a 45 min procedure...I got FIFTEEN minutes...after waiting all that time...RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!). My third appt was better in the sense i didn't have to wait, BUT again, i did not get a 45 minute treatment. And to top it off, the tech tells me "you shouldn't wear that dress, it makes you look 3-4 months pregnant." Yeah, that's just what i want to hear when I'm there specifically to lose fat i accumulated during/post pregnancy -- when i just lost 50 lbs --yeah i really need to hear i'm fat when it's already hard enough trying to get rid of the fat ...the only reason why i'm even at this god-forsaken place that promises to get rid of inches with their "cavitization" machine. From the scheduler, to the manager, to the tech...each one of them incompetent at what their SUPPOSED to do. The scheduler obviously doesn't know what he's doing, he is uncomfortably nervous all the time and lacks bedside manner. The manager seems preocupied with i have no idea what. And the tech...well she doesn't know better...she's just there to get a paycheck, it's very obvious. I DO NOT recommend this spa.

I had previously written good comments regarding this place but apparently is only the first time you go, I have been going for ultrasound cavitations and my first visit was great the treatment was 45 minutes long and they did the scrub and then they used the machine, it felt like it was working, but my second and third time it only lasted 15 minutes (I feel like they are stealing my money because its suppose to be 45 minutes not 15) and they forgot the scrub in one of them. I mentioned something but they told me that it was 30 minutes THAT IS A LIE, I timed it. I will not recommend this place to anyone now. I am extremely disappointed. Hope they get better and pay attention. go somewhere else for this treatment because you want the minutes you paid for.

Dear Customer, sorry to hear you feel this way about our Spa. We give a lot of frebbies to our customers. I sincerely have to disagree with your comment. This is the first time we hear a negative comment from a customer.Our protocol consist as follows. The appointment is 45 minutes counting the scrubbing (which isnt suppose to be included but we include it as a free service to our customers.) Ultrasonic Cavitation comes afterwards with one pause for lymphatic massages to drain and then following the remainder of the minutes to finish cavitation followed by another lymphatic massage that will conclude the 45 mins. If you didn't receive this service then we will be happy to see you again and please let us know who serviced you in your previous service. Thank you for your comments.

This was my first experience. I found the place to be a warm caring type of spa. The staff was great, very caring, made me feel at home right away. The place was very clean. Cindy the lady who did my facial, manicure and pedicure was very gentle and knew her stuff. She was very professional and took her time. It was a great experience and I would recommend this spa to all my friends. I definitely will visit this spa again.

Miami Detox is my favorite new spa!! I was amazed at how many different services you can do there to better your self/health. I want to try them all!! For several months now, I've been wanting to get my teeth whitened, so when I noticed they offered laser teeth whitening I signed up immediately. It was a fast and simple procedure that lasted roughly 30 minutes. The results were incredible!! My smile now shines bright! I am very pleased with my visit @ Miami Detox, and will return again very soon! Thank you Lydia and Edwin!!

I got a Facial, Waxing, Teeth Whitening & Airbrush Makeup

Overall great place and well priced. If you want details read below: The Facial was one of the best ever. I used to pay double the price for my facials at my dermatologist office and the experience was equal. The products used had a very aromatic calming smell. I had to take a few of their products home. The waxing: I have very uneven eyebrows. Both times I have gone they have done a superb job matching both of them. The wax is like non I have ever had before because it doesn't pull on the skin, it only pulls on the hair. Therefore, the waxing was a lot less painful than any others I have ever had. I had a wedding to go to so I had teeth whitening done so that my pictures came out nice and the teeth were noticeably whiter. For the same even the make-up was like non other. Better than any of the department stores I have gone to for makeovers. The airbrushing covered all of my imperfections and my makeup lasted till the next day even after dancing for hours.
