The 960-square-foot spa has a clean design and uses dimmed lights with candles to provide a comfortable setting for treatments. One of Vue's signature offerings is the Bamboo Fusion Massage, which combines Swedish massage techniques with soothing heat, bamboo, and rattan. I happened to receive my first massage (ever) at Vue Spa and Salon while being on vacation in Tampa. This massage was amazing!!! It was extremely clean, neat, and Megan welcomed me at the door. The treatment room was at a perfect temperature and very welcoming with the soft relaxing music and the superb ambience. I got a hot stone massage and a scalp massage. Megan explained what the procedure entailed and told me that if the stones were too hot she could cool them down a little. Megan was great, she talked only to explain something or to check how I was doing. The scalp massage was simply amazing, she used this frangipani (sp) oil during it and it helps add moisture to your hair and smells amazing. After each section of the massage was complete Megan applied this Bio Freeze type substance that was amazing; any person that does daily activities and experiences muscle soreness should invest in a bottle of this. Not only was the environment extremely welcoming, Megan also made me feel extremely comfortable, which is important. I left feeling like I got more than I paid for (unusual for today), I look forward to my next trip to Tampa. Vue Spa and Salon will certainly be one of the first places I visit!
I love this place! It is a tiny salon and spa so I don't have to deal with crazy receptionists or other clients coming and going. I make my appointment and am always greeted at the door by the owner, Megan. She makes sure I have everything I need before the service. I have had my hair cut, dyed and highlighted by her at this point. I have always been extremely happy with my hair. I recently had an opportunity to have a massage and it was even better than I expected. Her pricing is great, fantastic "personal" service and it is so easy to get to. I would recommend this place to everyone!
