My husband and I visited this spa as part of our babymoon package in Chatham. While my hubby chose the Swedish hot stone massage I had to go for the prenatal massage being 28 months along.We both had a wonderful experience and the designated 1 hour just flew by. Both the massage therapists were very versed in their profession and I would definitely recommend their services.
I went for a pedicure here and was handed over to a teenager who was still in beauty school. The pedicure consisted of her washing my feet, rubbing a file over each foot three times, and painting my nails. No trimming of anything, no pampering or creams. I was so disappointed...wanted to like this place. Not crazy about the atmosphere - the whole business seems very amateurish....

Dear Catherine, My name is Jannell Brown. I own Sol Spa in Harwich Port, MA. I have read your review, and I'm sorry to say that i believe you have our spa confused with another. We have been open in our Harwich Port location since Sept 1, 2009. The youngest member of our team of professionals is 32 years old. Generally, we are known for our outstanding massages and facials, and people who receive manicures or pedicures with us usually add those services into a package. Very rarely do we perform single manicures or pedicures. Our nail technicians are all dually licensed, meaning that either a licensed aesthetician or a licensed massage therapist has taken the 100 hour course necessary in the state of Massachusetts to acquire a nail technician's license. Since our opening in September 2009 we have had Debbie and Mary who are both in their early 50's and were licensed aestheticians prior to becoming licensed nail technicians. Wherever you had your poor experience with a teenage student, it was not with us and I assure you that we are nothing but professional and strive to offer the best, most relaxing and therapeutic services we can. My girlfriends and I had a great time at this all natural holistic spa where the owner custom blends products for use and for retail. The massage was the best, and I mean the BEST I have ever had. Combined with the tranquil ambiance, the delicious organic tea and fruit, we did not want to leave! We spent the whole afternoon relaxing and renewing....and can't wait to do it again.
