As founder of a wellness company (http;//www.sheerbalance.com), I was thrilled when my husband purchased an intown weekend getaway at our local Mandarin Oriental. The spa experience was wonderful. The facilities, although small, were nicely designed and offered a fantastic experience beyond the treatment. The man who gave me a deep tissue massage was intense. He gave me, by far, the deepest tissue massage I've ever received. All in all, it was a great experience. The fitness facility was "okay." I felt that the natural light was too low and that it seemed sort of dim for an area that should be high energy. Also, the equipment, all techno gym, was great, but seemed a little minimalistic. I'd go back for the spa for sure...not necessarily the gym.
