  Montage Deer Valley® is located at the peak of Park City's Empire Canyon, about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. The alpine retreat draws from an elegant Craftsman architectural aesthetic: Vaulted ceilings and expansive windows form the setting for features like limestone fireplaces and iron chandeliers and design details of rich fabrics, textures, and tapestries, and Audubon-style artwork.

  Ski-in, ski-out access is available to the nearby Deer Valley Resort, and in the spring, summer, and fall, activities include wilderness walks, mountain boot camps, and mountain biking. The 35,000-square-foot Spa Montage with salon, fitness center, and indoor lap pool offers a welcome respite from a day of schussing the slopes or trekking the trails, many of which are accessible directly from the 16-acre forested property.

The 35,000-square-foot Spa Montage mixes rustic alpine spirit with elegant European style. Treatment rooms total 29—among them two Vichy shower areas, two hydrotherapy rooms, and a couple's massage room with copper baths, fireplaces, and a private balcony. Additional spa features include a salon, boutique, indoor lap pool, and fitness center. The separate men's and women's relaxation lounges and locker rooms feature steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and deluge showers.

Each of the rooms features a gas fireplace and picturesque views of the surrounding mountains or valleys; most come outfitted with a private patio or balcony. Glass-enclosed showers and soaking tubs encompass the stone bathrooms, and guest can enjoy sleek amenities such as signature Montage linens, high-speed Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, and DVD/CD players.

Culinary delights at Montage Deer Valley® include two restaurants, an inviting lounge, and seasonal specialties beside a cozy fireplace or alfresco on the après-ski terrace. Brick-oven pizzas and sandwiches—as well as plenty of entertainment—are featured at the hotel's family-style eatery, which comes complete with a wraparound bar and arcade games such as billiards, bowling, darts, and foosball. A portion-controlled spa menu is available, and vegan and vegetarian diets can be accommodated; in-room dining is also available 24 hours.

The highlight of Montage Deer Valley® is its host of year-round eco-adventure opportunities. There are more than 400 miles of hiking and biking trails winding through the wooded valleys of scenic Park City. The hotel offers ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort, where skiers can carve the slopes and peaks of 200 acres of terrain, with a vertical drop of 3,000 feet. Eight golf courses are within 20 miles of the hotel, and horseback riding, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating are available close by. Park City's historic Main Street, a short drive away, has more than 100 restaurants, shops, art galleries, and nightlife options and plays host to the Sunday Film Festival and Park City Food and Wine Classic.

Following a fun-filled day outdoors, guests can retreat to the après-ski terrace to lounge fireside, head to the family recreation area for a game of billiards or darts, or take a dip in one of three whirlpools or the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The fitness center has an extensive variety of exercise equipment, as well as a schedule of workout classes such as yoga, Pilates, ski conditioning, spinning, and boot camp; personal training is also available.
