About Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa at The Plaza
Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa is located in New York City's legendary Plaza Hotel, within steps of Central Park. With already established spas in France and Spain, Caudalie debuted in the heart of the city in 2008, flawlessly melding its contemporary sophistication and French style with the refinement and old-world elegance of the Plaza.
All therapies are exclusive to Caudalie and are performed by trained vinotherapists. Spa rituals range from classic massage to wraps and scrubs, lymphatic drainage to nail and waxing services. Facial and body treatments, including the signature Vinosource Facial, Crushed Cabernet Scrub, and Barrel Baths, utilize natural grapes and benefit from the fruit's restorative, antioxidant-rich polyphenols.
Before and after treatments, guests are invited to the private French Paradox Wine Lounge to sip wines recommended by the spa's sommelier.

Interiors of the 282 guest rooms and suites combine a timeless Beaux Arts aesthetic with elegant opulence, subtly offset by contemporary high-tech touches. Luxury amenities include Italian linens and robes, exclusive Miller Harris products, high-speed Internet access, flat-screen TVs, and touch-panel climate, lighting, and entertainment controls. White glove butler service is available 24 hours for suite guests, and twice-daily housekeeping service is offered. Bathrooms feature 24 carat-gold fixtures and marble vanities, mosaic-tile work in leaf or floral patterns, and in some cases, glass showers and tubs.
The Plaza's Oak Room and Oak Bar bring guests a bit of old New York to the modern-day city. Though handsomely refurbished, renovations have preserved the restaurant's original design, showcasing wood-paneled walls, a vaulted ceiling, and murals of German feudal castles. Diners enjoy American fare created by executive chef Eric Hara; a chef's table seating up to eight also is available for dining. The Rose Club, formerly the Persian Room, serves signature cocktails and light gourmet fare in a sumptuous, Paris Opera-inspired setting including dark walnut walls accented by oak parquet flooring. Live jazz is performed Monday and Thursday evenings. The Palm Court, famous for its afternoon tea and grand interiors, most notably its domed stained-glass ceiling, is available for all-day dining, as well as Sunday brunch. The Champagne Bar, with views of Fifth Avenue and the Pulitzer Fountain, offers light gourmet cuisine and pastries by day, and fine caviar, champagne, and wine by night.
