Hefty Prices for Dumpy Strip Mall Shop
Got a cut and high/low lights 3 times in the past year by the same stylist. I'm used to paying $2oo ++ for this service but when it reached over $300 for my short medium blond hair to go more blond I had to say bye-bye!! Though I paid my bill and tipped my stylist I did end up calling the next day to make sure this was the price they meant to charge me. The receptionist started the defense of this outrageous price. When I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold then told the manager left for the day. The manager was suppose to call me back when available but my stylist called instead-AKWARD! My stylist happily argued her case and demanded she deserved what was charged. Oh well....You live and learn!! Staff is nice but the place is dumpy and lacks in true salon atmosphere! I was also quoted $250 for a keratin treatment-REALLY!?!?! Naperville and Chicago have too many awesome salons with less outrageous prices- I wish I had read reviews before going there!! Be warned---the hefty prices are not in relation to the run down strip mall services!!

Double booked color disaster
I have been slightly disappointed with this salon. Although they have attempted to correct the two color mishaps that I had. The first experience, the colorist didn't let the base bump process long enough so the roots turned out orange (I typically did all over highlights but that time also wanted a base bump along with those highlights. So, the highlights were beautiful and the scalp was orange!) I then went to a different colorist whom corrected the first colorist root botch up. I just booked with her this time thinking everything would be fine. I wanted all over brown with partial highlight. But she ended up being double booked so she was short with me, in a hurry, and she passed the job of applying the all over color (after she set the high lights) to a girl that was bounced around among the Gironda's who hasn't even gone to color school yet, she was only trained in shampoos!) Needless to say the color ended up being checker board as the assistant let some of the dark color hit the ends from the highlighted foils that were exposed. Terrible. The colorist did allow me to come back to get it fixed the next day but it still has checkboard areas and it is not really close to the picture I had brought in. Sadly disappointed.

Lost new customer
I was given a spa finder gift certificate as a gift.Since I was looking for a new salon anyway I thought I would try this one. Well I couldn't get pass the receptionist. Put on hold TWICE! Lost my business before they even had it. Too bad because I live in Naperville very close to salon and it would have been more convenient than going downtown.

High end salon with warm, friendly staff
I can't tell enough people about this salon. I'm not one that gets my hair cut every 8 weeks or hangs on to a stylist, but I will not stray from this place! They have a Young Talents group that is about 1/2 the price of regular services, but don't be afraid! I saw Gia and this woman is amazing! I WANT to go back every few weeks to her!! She took the time (even though I was her last appt of the day) to teach me stuff I never knew and the cut is FLAWLESS! Walking in, you expect a lot of snotty, uptight people, because the salon is gorgeous, but instead you are warmly greeted and there isn't a snot to be seen! lol

I used to frequent the cheap chains, but those days are now over. I found a REAL salon with an incredible staff , and you better believe I will be going back! Frank Giuronda is as good as it gets. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful as can be. I was able to be seen the day I called, and received the best treatment from everyone there. I suggest making an appointment with Hanna. She is a magician! I cannot believe how wonderful she made my hair look. She had it washed, cut, and blown-out in 40 min, and it looked like a completely different head of hair when she was through. I was pretty floored, and very, very pleased! She's amazing, and I am stayin' put with this salon!

Great customer service!
I like to start small when trying a new place, so I went for a wax. From the initial booking of the appointment on the phone, to the front desk, to the aesthetician, the customer service was great. The room was comfortable, great wax. I got a booklet of coupons for my next six visits for being a new customer. They also do monthly drawings for gift certificates if you book your future appointment before you leave. I recently went back to get my hair cut and highlighted. Great experience again. My next step is a massage. I love this place!

not very helpful
ON 1/17/07 i called to book massage treatments for my guests and I for our visit to this area, the receptionist was very quick to say they only had 1 massage therapist that day and wasnt willing to try to accomadate my small group of three, for a new location they should try to be more accomadating instead of rushing to get off the phone!!!
