  Named to Travel + Leisure's list of the Top 50 Resorts in the U.S. and Canada and located on the 23-acre Vintage Estate destination retreat, the AAA-Four Diamond Villagio Inn & Spa merges Mediterranean elegance with the captivating spirit of Napa Valley. Stone columns and frescoes balance with vineyard views, resembling a Tuscan villa-inspired setting. A limestone pathway lined with fountains, waterfalls, and reflecting pools lead guests to the Spa Villagio entryway, surrounded by olive trees and lush foliage. Inside, the spa welcomes guests with an intimate, residential-like retreat, while offering amenities like relaxation lounges with outdoor soaking tubs, and wellness treatments derived from the ancient traditions of Europe.

  The Villagio shares the Vintage Estate with its sister properties, the French country-like Vintage Inn and V Marketplace, a retail complex of galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and a wine cellar housed in the former Groezinger Winery.

Following a limestone pathway lined with fountains and reflecting pools, olive trees and lush foliage surround the entrance of the 13,000-square-foot Spa Villagio. The architectural aesthetic is Mediterranean style, with stone archways and terracotta clay tile roofing; interiors designed with crystal chandeliers, and wrought-iron, hewn-wood, stone, and herringbone-brick touches add a bucolic yet refined feel.

Treatment rooms total 16, with separate men's and women's wings comprising relaxation lounges equipped with Swiss showers, steam and sauna facilities, outdoor soaking tubs, and fireplaces. Five spa suites, offering the ultimate in luxury, come with fireplaces, daybeds, steam showers, wet bars, soaking tubs with jets, flat-screen TVs, and private terraces. Groups can reserve The Retreat, a 4,500-square-foot private area with 10 treatment rooms, sauna, steam, and shower facilities, an outdoor pool and soaking tub.

Mother's Day is celebrated the entire month of May at Spa Villagio. Upon arrival, each mother will be greeted by her personal spa concierge and served a glass of bubbling champagne.  She will be escorted to her private suite complete with infinity edge soaking tub, fireplace, day bed and swiss steam shower.  Next, she wil enjoy and experience our renowned Signature Absolute Pearl Facial.  Following her facial, each mother will be served tea and a light refreshment.  The curtains are drawn, lights are dimmed and an aromatherapy candle is lit.  It's time to enjoy a luxurious soak or simply take a much needed nap.  A lavender sachet is given as a keepsake for every mother to cherish.  2 hours.  Available Monday-Friday.

Father's Day is celebrated the entire month of June at Spa Villagio.  Our Father's Day Special is specifically created for dad's athletic performance.  Your treatment will be enjoyed in a Private Spa Suite with a complimentary hour of relaxation time and enjoyment of all luxurious suite-level amenities such as fireplace, infinity soaking tub, Mediterranean steam shower, and flat screen television with Bose sound system.  100 minutes Athletic Performance Treatment and Restorative Salt Soak.  Available Monday-Friday.

Adjacent to Spa Villagio is the 1,900-square-foot fitness center, which comes equipped with cardio machines and free weights. Exercise options include Pilates, spinning, personal training, and tennis on the property's dual courts; yoga classes are available four times per week. Guests can take a dip in the inn's main swimming pool, open year-round, and golfers have their selection among three nearby courses, including the 18-hole, par-72 Eagle Vines Golf Course, offering panoramic vineyard vistas.

A highlight of the 23-acre estate is V Marketplace, a stately retail complex set in a 140-year-old winery complex that is listed as a historic landmark by the National Register of Historic Places. Guests can browse the Marketplace's many art galleries and boutiques, select from a menu of restaurants, or visit the 4,000-bottle wine cellar, available for private tastings and social functions. V Marketplace is also headquarters to Napa Valley's original hot-air balloon company, and balloon rides can be arranged on site.

The Villagio Inn offers 192 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 450 square feet to 525 square feet. Elegant Italian interiors feature amenities such as private patios, balconies, fireplaces, and sunken tubs. Charming touches include a welcome bottle of wine, daily champagne breakfast buffet, complimentary wireless Internet access, and afternoon tea and coffee.

Under the direction of chef Michael Chiarello, Bottega Napa Valley restaurant features micro-regional farm-to-table cuisine that showcases fresh, seasonal bounty of the Napa Valley with a twist of Italian influences. Wines celebrate local and Italian vintages. The Mediterranean-inspired surroundings combine a rustic flavor with sophisticated fashion, as exposed wood floors, brick walls and arched entryways, and stone fireplaces mingle with Murano glass chandeliers and rich fabrics. Additional establishments include Pacific Blues CafÃ(c), serving California cuisine, and Spa Villagio, which offers a healthful spa menu.
