Very Displeased, No Muscle Relief, Poor Customer Service

I went to Mary Lynn's to have my first professional massage. I directed the masseuse to areas that needed attention, but she spent little time addressing these areas. After receiving my massage, Mary Lynn spoke ill of my masseuse. I was surprised that she badmouthed her own employee in front of me. When I left I felt just as sore as when I had arrived. My soreness did not improve over the next few days so I called Mary Lynn to talk to her directly and voice my displeasure. She made me feel very uncomfortable when I realized I had been put on speakerphone. When I told her that it had not been the relaxing experience I had sought and that my one-hour massage had not provided me any relief, she became defensive and rude. She offered an appointment with a different masseuse, but I did not want to potentially waste another hour. She tried to explain that my expectations of relief were unrealistic after only one massage. Her lack of professionalism extended to calling me by the wrong name. I wish I had had a better experience. I will not be returning.

Everything about this place is exactly what I needed. Mary Lynn answered the first time I called, she thoroughly explained what and how the wrap works, plus the do's and don'ts to obtain great results, we set an appointment. Even though I was early, she was ready! She measured my entire body and the wrap itself was done quickly and effectively. My clothes were baggier and I felt great! Mary Lynn was super nice and offered me a great package deal. See you again soon!

I had a fantastic experience at the spa. The owner took personal care of me which I don't know if other owner's would do the same. The services are various and friends of mine have been very happy with what service they recieved. When an owner takes the time to take care of people hands on, that says a ton of the business. I wish more local businesses were like that. Thank you for being local I will keep coming in.

I went in to Mary Lynn's Massage and Day spa the other day to get a massage. Once I walked in I was greatly greeted by a young woman who was the receptionist. Once she told me she was going to get the therapist I sat down. As I was waiting for Mary Lynn to arrive I noticed how neat and relaxing the spa was. I came in for an upper back massage. Mary Lynn really focused on the spots I needed help on. I think this was probably by far the best massage I have ever had! I would defiantly recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Mary Lynn!

On June 10th, I came to Mary Lynn's for the 1st time to get a massage. When I arrived, I was greatly impressed with the spa's bright colors and cleanliness. The therapist who worked on me was terrific! She really focused on my lower back reducing the pain plus getting rid of a lot of tightness in my upper back. Most disappointing massage ever

*Receptionist was an underwhelming individual who seemed clueless about everything *The atmosphere was far from relaxing. Walls painted an obnoxious shade of red. I could hear the door make a loud buzzing sound anytime someone came or left. The air conditioning rattled. The room was freezing. *Most uncomfortable massage table I've ever lied on, scratchy sheets. *Massage therapist was VERY clinical and off putting. Not personable at all which set a very bad tone going into the massage. When I told her I was 19 weeks pregnant she seemed annoyed - DUH! The appointment was for a prenatal massage. *If you say you provide prenatal massages you should have either a maternity table or someone good at positioning pillows. Had to lie on my stomach. *She was either lightly brushing her hands over my back or trying to press me into the table, and it was all very sporadic, not fluid, and utterly annoying. I spent most of the 90 minutes thinking about leaving. *I told her my lower back was in a lot of pain. So she focused almost the whole 90 minutes on my upper back. She "massaged my hands" and didn't touch my feet or ankles. She pulled my hair several times. She gave me a "face massage" and touched my lips...EW!

I stopped in to buy a gift card for my daughter and son-in-law today as a christmas gift becuse I have heard about this place. while I was in there, I decided to get myself a 90 minute massage buy the owner, Mary Lynn, and she was so kind and made me fgeel wonderful! Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. I am excited to give my daughter and her husband their gift now!

I found this facility to be dated. The receptionist is the owner's daughter and the owner isn't very professional. I didn't find the room I was in to be peaceful, with the bright color on the wall and the general overall experience wasn't relaxing. White Lotus Salon & Spa in Gilbert will be getting my money in the future. Sorry Mary Lynn's.

I went in today for a mineral weight loss wrap and just last week I was in for a Sweedish massage. The facility is very clean, the people are all very friendly and assisting. I would highly reccomend it and I will be returning int he next few weeks myself!

I was given a gift certificate to Mary Lynns massage and day spa by my sister in law. I was given a few massages in the past where i was not happy with the service or the staff. So i wasn't to excited to come, but boy was i wrong. Mary Lynns staff was so welcoming and the massage was unbelievable. I am going to make this at least a twice a month visit. If you are looking for an amazing service with a great staff i highly recommend you come see Mary Lynn!

I came in here for a one hour massage and ended up getting my haircut too!! The massage was amazing..only thing I would do different is make it a two hour next time! The haircut was great, and I am coming back for highlights too. Can't wait. Definitely would recommend this spa to anyone wanting a stress free day.

I am always getting massages and Ive never found a place that has ever fully satisfied me and gave me a amazing experience, UNTIL I went to Mary Lynn's massage and day spa! Her and her LMT's are amazing at what they do. :) I just got a facial AND massage and I was super relaxed and had soft as a baby bottom skin! I also have gotten the weight loss wraps like all these other girls on here and lost 40 inches on one wrap, I kid you not and bought the package so I could get to the size I wanted to be!! HIGHLY recommended!!
