Body Retreat Day Spa

They are professional, but friendly. My Mom has had leg issues since her surgery in 2010, and I have been trying to find something that would comfort her pain naturally. The energizing leg treatment was perfect!! Tamika was amazing and very personable. Thanks again!! -Mir

I had the day spa package #2. The services were great and the staff was very professional. A few things I would change...the massage room is located very close to the street. I could hear cars passing by during my massage. I would have increased the relaxing music to drown out the noise from the passing cars. I paid partially with a spa week giftcard that I received for my bday. Upon checking out, they tried to charge me an extra $17% for using the gift card. I also tried to pay with an AMEX and couldn't since the owner/manager was not there to process the order. While the services were great, the checkout experience was not. I also do not think the massage specialist should be checking me out. It was obvious that she is really good at the her job of making me feel relaxed, but is not a clerical staff person. Overall, I got what I wanted, which was a great massage.

The staff was knowledgable, kind, and very easy to deal with. I did not feel any pressure put on me when my session was over to leave. I think I stayed an extra hour to just relax and escape. My massage lasted well over an hour which has not been my experience in the past but quite the opposite. My back and trap were very tight so it took a little extra time to work it out at no extra charge. I feel half way guilty now for not opting to pay the additional half hour I recieved at no charge. I chose this spa because their services were clearly listed, priced, and lengthy. Good luck hope your experience is worth writting about as well.

My favorite spa in Colleyville closed, so I was on the hunt for a new place. Saw Body Retreat's website and their spa week $50 specials looked like a great way to check them out. The facility is ok, not luxurious, but not bad either. For some reason though, they use a flat massage table for facials...not comfortable by the end of the hour. I filled out a detailed questionnaire before my facial began. No idea if the facialist read it....she never asked me a question about my skin, wants, needs or made a comment about my skin. She spent as much time out of the room as she did in.....put the steam on my face, then left, came back, put a mask on, then left, came back, etc., etc. Maybe she was doing two facials at the same time???? Overall, I guess it was okay for $50. Would not have been worth the $125 they said was the regular price.

I liked this place, it was clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed everything, except the facial. I felt as though I did not receive one at all, and the lady performing it was constantly burping and it smelled really bad. Everything else was great.

I actually visited this spa about 3 months ago, but was (for some reason) uncomfortable posting my review until now. This was, by far, my most akward spa experience ever. I have never been made to feel uneasy in any spa before, but here, my male masseuse chose my massage experience as an opportunity to possibly enhance his own plans for the weekend. Despite my responses regarding my boyfriend, he was somewhat persistent in his inappropriate comments, and I would not feel comfortable receiving a massage here again, as a result. Honestly, felt it may be important for me to post, in hindsight. There is a time and place for everything, and this was certainly not the time nor place!!

So, this year it was my turn to go all out for Valentine's Day so I thought it would be perfect at a spa. I've always wanted to go so I treated both myself and my fiance. I got lucky and booked Feb 13 with a Valentine's package. We received a full body massage, body scrub and time in the O2 chamber. To sum it all up, for this to be our first time it definately won't be the last. We booked our next day already! Two thumbs up from the both of us! We would DEFINATELY return for many,many more times!

She knew what she was doing. I told her I was having a problem with tendonitis and she worked it out. I believe she helped me heal faster. The pressure was perfect and she was very professional. The only problem was next time I'd sign up for more that an hour, she is that great. I would suggest her to everyone. She has a very sweet, caring personality.

Before my wife came to see you guys I thought she was going to kill me are the kids (lol). But after a day with you guys; The kids and I just wanted to say think you very much.
