    Located in Silicon Valley, California, Spa Dhara strives to provide a calming and relaxing spa environment, and features an authentic luxury hammam, affording spa guests a unique opportunity to experience and benefit from the bathing rituals of Turkey and Morocco. With nine private treatment and hydrotherapy suites, each room is designed to reflect the experience from the region the treatment originated. The Rhassoul Suite accommodates body clay treatments, steam, and rain showers under a starry sky. The Ayurvedic Suite features a neem wood table (droni), and heated water tables for body treatments and a Cleopatra bath are available for couples. A Dry Flotation Suite is available as well, where guests can rest in a zero-gravity bed and listen to the music of their choice. In the relaxation room, guests can enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks next to a waterfall.

To relax I usually end up going to spas - both spas that are in a city and to destination spas in hotels. And Spa Finder is a great way to find spas. I was at this spa a few days back after I read about their turkish hammam. It has been ages since I had a hammam (my last one was in Berlin at a former chocolate factory converted into a hammam) I booked their royal sultanate hammam as it included a massage as well and I needed on badly. The spa is stunning - it looks so gorgeous and the hammam suite was very relaxing just to look at it. I was a bit foggy on what allhappened in my last hammam, but when the therapy started i was lost in pleasure. spa dhara does the therapy so well - they exoliate you bathe you and the entire process seems like a rhythmic ritual i didnt want to leave.. after the hammam i relaxed for a while and they offered fruits and wine and I was reminded of the times I used to frequent hammams in europe. the massage after the hammam is pure indulgence...you feel fresh and clean coming out of the hammam and then someone massages you - what more do you want. I love this spa - i wasnt expecting such a wonderful experience from a day spa.

When you book your service, make sure you can use your spa finder gift card for the particular service. I booked a pedicure, and when I went to checkout, I was told that my service didn't fit until the "spa" category, so I couldn't use it. The atmosphere is nice, but I think there are better places within the Bay Area in which to go for a spa treatment.

I found this spa on google while exploring spas in bay area offering organic facials. I was there for couple of days on work and decided to take some me time and go spa'ing :) I booked their pleasure at spa day package which gave me the facial and pedicure that I needed but I also got to choose a body treatment. After touring the spa, I decided on their Hamam therapy. It is a full body exfoliating and bathing process done in an exquisite room. The room was nice and hot and the therapist simply wonderful. Oh, and yes the facial which I got was all organic and excellent - if you want some amazing spa treatments, this spa is worth a try

We went there today for Valentine's and loved it. From the gorgeous design to amazing staff and soft music, the spa gave us a feel that we really deserved. We wanted to have some "us" time and this was a great place to do just that We chose the hammam as we have had it before in Paris and Istanbul and Spa Dhara is at par if not better than those spas when it comes to hammam We loved the relaxing lounge with stars above us and wine in our hands :) Though the spa is gorgeous, the Hammam area is to die for... it was nice warm and soooo sooo soothing! We had a 90 minute therapy and savored every moment of it - from the exfoliation to the massage to the foaming. -- we just loved it

I have no idea how this "spa" has a decent rating on spa finder. I recommend people look at Yelp and all the one-star reviews which mirrored my experience exactly. Every employee seemed very unprofessional and confused. The front desk woman could not run the register and barely ever looked at us. There was even a random young girl hanging out in the relaxation room playing on an iPad who I can only assume was an employee's daughter. Everything was dirty - from scuffs all over the walls, to the peeling floor, to every single towel and robe which had stains on them. The "therapist" seemed confused by what she was doing. I don't think she has ever worn deodorant and as the warm treatment wore on the smell became nearly unbearable. She coughed twice during the therapy ON ME and never apologized. As the tables were attached to the walls the arm near the wall was never scrubbed: by switching back and forth only the front of one arm and the back of the other was scrubbed. The water to rinse us would go from scalding hot to cold without the girl touching the controls. As part of our package we were to get champagne and fruit. We got warm wine in glasses with lip prints on them and a cut apple with the seeds and core still in.

I visited this spa last week to celebrate valentines with my boyfriend - we found the spa on the net and the pictures looked amazing.Originally we were planning to go to a spa in Napa but decided to try spa dhara. We booked a package called Romancing the Stone and wow! was it ever so wonderful!!!! the Spa looks very clean and modern and once you go past the second set of doors...you are literally in a different world - a soothing romantic and tranquil one. The therapy we had we were told was from Turkey called a Hamam and only three spas in the US have it-- so we felt special and lucky to have chosen this service The treatment room was very romantic with twinkling stars in the ceiling and white and gold tiles all around. The therapy was very elaborate where we were exfoliated bathed massaged foamed and we loved every bit of it. We then relaxed in the awesome lounge while the staff served us strawberries chocolates and champagne! amazing amazing time we had.... will come back hopefully soon.

Now this is what I call a Spa. I have been to many Spas and this one is more like ones in Europe or Hawaii. The variety of services is amazing... I could spend a whole year there and still not be done with the therapies they offer :) From the moment I called in to book my appointment before arriving in California to the time I left the Spa, I was treated with the best customer care and it made me feel like a princess. I had their Moroccan therapy which was some sort of mud bath and it was worth it. I also had an organic facial which I loved but cant remember its name. Things that I most like about the spa is its attention to detail, its relaxing and tranquil environment and the therapists.

I visited this spa, to experience their authentic hammam experience,as they call it. I was extremely impressed with their unique decor, and variety of services. The hammam room was something I had never seen before. The treatment started with dry and wet exfoliation on warm marble tables in a warm starlit room. They used exotic natural soaps, oils, and scrubs and I was totally foamed . I felt like a baby being bathed. They also used argan oil for moisturizing me. There were a few rituals that they did, which felt very royal. I absolutely loved this experience. I was in total ecstasy as I left the hammam room. I am definitely going back for more!

I and my husband visited this spa after we got some spa finders during christmas holidays (thanks big brother!) We wanted to try something unique and heard of the hammam therapy which is from the mediterranean. We loved every aspect of our service from the therapy room with golden and white marble design to the relaxation area where they served us wine and chocolates to the service it self. I liked the spa as it is not a bunch of rooms in a clinical setting. this one looks and feels like a ritzy place and when I plunk down some cash for myself, I would rather have a place that makes me feel wonderful...Spa dhara did just that We both were in the hammam where they massaged, bathed and exfoliated us - the feeling was unreal - i felt like a new person coming out of there and did not really want the treatment to end would love to do this on a regular basis. I know they have other services (they had a huge brochure of services) and I have no doubts that those would be wonderful as well - now just a matter of time to convince my husband to go again soon!

If I could rate no star, i would not even give a star for this Spa. After looking at others review, now I am not surprised that I receives such a horrible service. They overcharged your credit card for $120 when they said they will only authorize $69. I called and they said they will cancel the $120 authorization but it takes 2-3 days for the hold on my credit card to be released. Then they ask for another authorization before the previous one is reversed to my credit card. I refused, and explained to them that it is not fair for them to authorize my card again before the previous overcharge credit is reversed. (which is their mistake). They changed my reservation to a "walk in" and told me that they still have my appointment on the system. They said since i refused to give them my CC again, they have to leave it as a walk in but they will make a note and make sure I have my appointment set. Guess what, less than one hour before my appointment, they sent me an email that my reservation is cancelled because it is a walk in reservation and they have taken another customer. I couldn't believe it!. I call them immediately but No one pick up phone call, left a message and no one ever reply. Horrible service

We had a company appointment, my boss treated us to a massage/facial package for our holiday gift. There were 5 of us and we had an appointment at 2:30, dinner reservations at 5:30. It was supposed to be a 45 minute massage, 45 minute facial appointment. We arrived at 2:00, the floors were filthy. Hair and dirt in every crack. We were shown the women's "locker room" , which was a few lockers right outside of a bathroom stall. 4 of us were crammed in there to undress and get into scratchy robes. My coworker was given dirty sandals so she had to request another pair. I wasn't brought back for my massage until 3:30pm...an hour late! The massage was ok-which was the only reason they deserve 1 star. But it only lasted 30 minutes and it was more of a "rub" than a massage. Then I waited another 45 minutes before I told the manager up front for the 4th time that we had dinner reservations in San Jose and it was too late for my facial. He said he could have them do it still but I said no way, there's no more time. He said he would give the 2 of us who still hadn't had our facials a gift certificate to come back. When we finished getting ready (only 1 shower worked) and went to the front, he said he didn't have any GC's for us

Spa Dhara is quite possibly the best Spa in the bay area? Why? My experience.. I have been here a few times, the first time I cam here was through spa finder - someone had gifted me one. I have had facials and massages here. They were fantastic. But, why I like Spa Dhara so much is because they have Ayurveda based natural wellness therapies for pain management and other ailments. I love everything natural and this spa is all that - a green spa with only natural therapies. to me its a perfect blend of european spa therapies and Asian healing. I have a membership at this spa now - this way I save money and come back again and again to take care of the most important thing in my life - my body!

A Gift from Hubby - Amazing Spa Experience at Spa Dhara

I am in my second trimester and my dahling hubby got me a package from Spa Dhara. The package - Pleasure Day at the spa - lived up to its name. I felt as if my stress melted away when i entered the spa - it is so peaceful and a world away from my chaotic world. the staff had customized the package for me so that i could get a prenatal massage instead of the clay treatment as it has steam therapy in it. I loved the facial, massage and pedicure n manicure that were part of the package. they also did not rush and were considerate to let me relax in between services given that I am expecting. would love to go again to the spa in a couple of months . thank you darling hubby and thank you spa dhara xoxoxo

When I received Spa Finder Gift cards for my birthday, I figured I would have to go to the city or Napa to make use of them in a nice spa. So when I searched Spa Finder and found Spa Dhara, I had to double check to be sure that this spa was in East Bay. I booked my services after being amazed by the menu of services they offered on the website. I was simply stunned by the spa. It looks like it has been teleported from Europe and Asia. What an incredible looking Spa ! ! Since it was for celebrating getting a year older ..and perhaps wiser ;-) I booked the pleasure day at spa packge. I had the Marrakesh Rasul therapy and a full body massage and a facial. I dont recall spending 4 hours there but the time spent was pure bliss. With the therapists attending to me so caringly and offering tea and fruits, it was heaven Now that I know it exists, I will be going there a lot more often - if nothing else, I can always use the excuse that I need waxing or pedicures.

My Place for Stress Free Moments

Ok so I stumbled upon this place while in the mall off automall parkway. It looked very classy n elegant. I walked in and asked to see their menu... They have a HUGE menu!!! with many water based therapies, pedi mani facials massages etc. and they accept Spa Finder! The lady told me about Ayuveda - which is some sort of natutal healing therapy. They recommend that I take a Shirodhara treatment. So I booked one facial (which I wanted) and the shirodhara - on two different dates. When I went there for my shirodhara, the therapist put me at ease and was very hospitable. She had me lie in this ornate table where she poured warm oil on my forehead. the therapy was sooooo relaxing. I have never had something like this before and I loved it. That night I slept like a baby... very effective therapy - specially since I am always stressed out at work The facial was also really good. I chose the signature facial which uses some caviar products... The therapist was very knowledgeable and at the end of the therapy gave me tips for taking care of my face. I had fun and I got stress relief. I recommend going there 20 min before your appt so that you can enjoy their relaxation room..which too is very serene and soothing. xoxoxo

I agree with other reviewers. Spa Dhara is really fantastic. Everything is organic and natural and even the spa seems earth friendly. The front desk gal gave me a tour and it literally seems to be a very good blend of services from around the world. The gal told me that the blue curvy hallway symbolizes the river and the rooms are like islands..I thought that was cute. The therapy rooms look like someone plucked them from various points on the globe and brought them to Silicon Valley. My Therapy: I went there for Pleasure day at the spa and I must say it was pleasure all the way! A soothing facial and the massage was really good as well. In short, a well thought out spa with services I have never tried before and would love to try them in the coming months

Spa Dhara is fantastic...we went Friday for a tour of the spa first...Michelle was great in showing us around...My husband tried their zero gravity bed that night..he loved it...booked another appointment for Wednesday for a couples massage and jacuzzi soak...(WONDERFUL)...best massage loved my girl Vera...Then my husband wanted to do the zero gravity bed again...can't wait to go back and try all of their different treatments...its wonderful and quit and they are very attentive...JUST LOVE IT...really want to try the wooden table and the body polish...made a full wish list of all the treatments...

I visited Spa Dhara today, for a "Refresher Facial" and an Ayurveda massage called "Abhiyanga" (sp?) It was an express facial, which used moor mud and some aromatic water. My face was glowing and I felt very refreshed by the end of the facial. Another therapist gave me the massage in a gorgeous room, which felt very relaxing. This was my first Ayurveda massage and was one of the best, I have ever had. The front desk girl was very friendly, and explained to me their membership plans. It seemed like a good deal, and I am planning to get one on my next visit. Tip: Request them for a spa tour.Its worth the different treatment rooms.

I visited Spa Dhara this week, while in the mall and loved the tour the staff gave me....It is simply divine.... with therapies from across the world and the room design and decor matching the region. I had a hot stone massage and an ayurvedic facial and also received a complimentary threading. I am so glad that I have a nice spa to go to that is affordable and close to home I am planning to get their spa membership so that I can frequent it every month I highly recommend Spa Dhara!
