This class systematically works the entire body, concentrating on the essence of every organ, bone, joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, blood vessel, nerve and gland. Heated Restorative Yoga (90*)

Similar to traditional Yin, Heated Restorative Yoga is the relaxed practice of floor postures for two to four minutes at a time. However, unlike the more traditional Yin practice, Heated Restorative emphasizes the muscles of the hips, legs, pelvis and lower spine instead of the connective tissue. A Heated Restorative practice complements a more muscular or “Yang” form of yoga as well as a traditional Yin practice. The added heat allows the muscles to relax into the deep stretch while providing an opportunity for detoxification for the body and stillness for the mind. Heated Restorative is practiced in a room heated to 90 degrees and is appropriate for all levels.
