About Spa Constantine - Downers Grove
Located in a Victorian home with classical music and scents such as tangerine and lemongrass throughout the 1500-square-foot facility, Spa Constantine has nine treatment rooms, herbal teas, and robes to relax in. Free the mind from stress with treatments including massage, skin care, microdermabraision, waxing, manicures, pedicures, Soma Body Treatments, and ear coning. The spa's signature treatment is the Spa Constantine Signature Massage, a 75-minute combination of deep tissue and Swedish massage for relaxation and problem areas. Spa events include charity fundraisers, corporate retreats, and bridal showers. Spa Constantine serves clients in the Chicago, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Naperville, Aurora, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Palos Park, Orland Park, Wheaten, St.Charles, and Geneva areas.Location

I purchased the Asteria package which included 4 services at a discounted price.I felt that the the technicians were very good and knew what they were talking about.The spa is decorated pretty and very cozy.The receptionists were great from booking the appointments to the day I came in.Will return!

Got a facial, massage, mani & pedi. Massage and facial techs were super nice and would def visit them again. Wish you could get the package prices when using spa finder gift certs, but was warned before hand so there were no surprises in the price.

My husband had bought me a package that included multiple services that I used over multiple dates. I have mixed feelings about Spa Constantine. The location is upstairs in a old house, south of downtown Downers Grove. It was decorated nicely. I did not like that the parking lot gets very dark in the evening in winter time. There are no lights to illuminate the area. I know it's a safe town, but I still felt a bit uncomfortable.
I was happy with the mani/pedi, facial and eyebrow wax and may return for these services if the location was more convenient for me.
I was not happy with the Swedish massage or deep tissue massage. I have received massages at several different spas and I was stunned at how bad they were here. They were so bad, it was almost funny and I felt bad for them. I did sort of politely mention it to the receptionist. Maybe it just wasn't my taste. Also, the rooms for massages face the street so you can hear traffic from the busy road which is not very relaxing.

It clearly states on our spa overview page that spafinder gift cards are to be used towards regular priced services. I have never been to a spa.I was a first time customer.My husband purchased the Valentine's Package for me.I was so surprised and excited to use it.I live in Oak Park so I booked my massage, facial and microdermabrasion at that location.
The massage was with Mindy,she has a great touch and made me feel very relaxed.My facial was with Adelina ,she was very thorough and taught me alot about my skin.I also added a eyebrow wax and she made them look beautiful. It was my first time having a microdermabrasion treatment.i have heard so much about this and Adelina explained the process to me.They use a wand like instrument with crystals in it over your face.I was a little red,as expected and the next 2 days ,my face looked really ,really clear.I am considering purchasing a package of these treatments as I really saw a improvement after having only one.
I visit my parents in Westmont so I booked my manicure and pedicure at the Downers Grove location.Being able to split the services between the two locations was a great convenience for me.
Eva did my nail services,I did add the paraffin treatment because my skin is so dry in the winter.She was very good and sweet.She did not talk to much ,she just let me relax while I sipped my hot tea.
The receptionists were very sweet,the staff very professional spas very clean.My husband made a great choice.I will definitely return and send alot of my friends there!

My husband purchased the GoddessPackage for me.I was at the spa for 5 hours being pampered.Spa Constantine is so warm and cozy-unlike all white and sterile like other spas.The staff was very gracious and informative.I will return for more relaxation,that is for sure!

I brought seven people to the spa for a birthday party for a friend. We had pre-arranged different services and the person at the front desk told my friend that she had already paid for a manicure. She had not paid for it. The person at the front desk did not understand how I had set everything up, so I called the manager to talk about that issue, as well as another issue we had the day of the event. The Manager told me she didn't have time to talk to me she was too busy and didn't even take time to listen to me.
I would highly caution anyone who is trying to plan a group outing to go there. The receptionist that I worked with was not that bright and obviously the Manager cares nothing about the customers.

Awesome spa,I loved it! My husband purchased a Spa Package for me for Christmas.I made a reservation for this past week.Once upstairs, I was impressed with the Old world like decor,very preety and relaxing colors.I was offered tea or coffee,I chose the tea to warm me up. My services started with the massage with Vanda.As she started the massage,I could tell she really know what she was doing.I asked her to do a deep tissue massage and focus on my back as it hurts me.She discovered the knots and tension immediatley.She worked on that,it did hurt a little the next day,Today I feel great! She recommended to come in every 2 weeks to work on the back area,which I will definitley do. My pedicure and manicure were with Illona, she has a great touch and is very thorough.She was able to remove all the dry skin from my feet,shape my nails beautifully and apply this beautiful nail polish which still looks perfect.The lotion that was used made my hands feel baby soft.Before I left I pre booked my appointment with Vanda in two weeks.My husband picked me up and we had a wonderful lunch.Thanks Spa Constantine and my hubby for a great day!!"

My girlfriend really enjoys going to spas,she had never been to spa Constantine before.I purchased the "Goddess Package" for her.It was 6 hours long,she had the works-a massage,facial,body treatment manicure and pedicure.I also included lunch for her.She as been to many spas in the Chicago area and she was really impressed with the services,she loved the decor of the spa.The only downfall,it is located on the second level and we could not find it right away,however no big deal.She will definitley return and wants me to have a spa day with her.I am so glad she enjoyed it as I do not know much about spas.

My girlfriend's and I celebrated my birthday at Spa Constantine.We purchased the Cleopatra's barge package.All 4 of us had a massage,manicure and pedicure.The spa provided appetizers for us and we brought in wine.The staff was very sweet and the technicians were great.I purchased the package online,it was simple and I will definitley return!

I did not know what to buy for my girlfriend's birthday. I checked out this spa and the staff helped me to plan a Surprise full spa day for my girlfriend.She had a massage,facial nalis and lunch.When I picked her up she could not thank me enough and kept saying how great she felt.I would totally recommend this for your guys who do not know what to buy your girlfriends!

I had recieved a great gift card from my friends and husband for my birthday and it took over a week to make appointment. I finally sent a email to the spa (thru spa finder) and they responded with in the hour. The Spa was a okay.. experience. I was disspoint in the lack of knowlege from the staff member taking the appointment. I spoke with a manager on my experiance, she seemed to be bothered with my call, I was told she would return my call and I'm still waiting as of now (5days ago). It is really too bad, the two ladies who did perfromed my services were excellent!

My boyfriend bought a spa day package. Oh my god i dont even have words for it how wonderful it was. I been there for 5 hours and i felt so pampered. He got me a promotion package for $ 199. The massage was so great. i was so relaxed. I really recomend this spa because it is beatuful with atmosphere, and the grils does really a great job
