Clients at In Touch Massage & Day Spa can take advantage of the spa's location inside the Thousand Oaks Spectrum Club with complimentary access to amenities such as men's and women's locker rooms, showers, steam room, sauna, Olympic indoor swimming pool, cardio and weight equipment, and yoga, Pilates, spinning, and aerobic classes. The 2,000-square-foot spa also encompasses a couple's suite with a waterfall, rose petals, and music, a reception area, and a spa boutique where clients may purchase skin care and spa products, clothing, sleepwear, and gifts. Services include massage, endermatherapie cellulite treatments, wraps, salt glows, facials, peels, scalp treatments, body bronzing, foot reflexology, paraffin treatments, sinus and headache treatments, waxing, dry brush treatments, and eyelash extensions. Wow! I can't say enough about how GREAT my massage, facial and salt glow were on Saturday! The massage was perfect. Deep Tissue and she spent exactly the right amount of time on each body part and perfect pressure. Probably the best, most detailed neck work I've ever had from a therapist. The facial was relaxing and I felt like she was a real expert. She was meticulous with the extractions (but not too painful ;-). The salt glow was probably my favorite. I've had them at different spas before, and I always got cold. Not the case here! They keep you covered up under warm towels the whole time and constantly re-wet and re-heat them. I felt like I was being bathed in a warm cocoon and the scrub felt more like a massage than a superficial body scrub. It was divine! I also really loved being able to use the treadmill first and steam in the locker room. Next time I go I am going to take a yoga or pilates class first. This is the best spa I've ever been to, as far as services go!

Laurie, the massage therapist, is THE one to go to. She paid attention to where I needed focus on and used the perfect amount of pressure overall. The hot, steamy towels over my back and feet were the perfect touch. Even my ear lobes were massaged! It was heavenly. I am definitely returning to this day spa again because of Laurie.

I got the Oxygen Facial recently and I LOVED it. My skin felt so soft and hydrated afterward. My only complaint is that it gets a little noisy, but the quality of the services make up for it. With regards to AO's review, that definitely puts a damper on my perception of the spa. I wonder if there was a glitch with their system? Or did she cancel on services at the last minute and therefore was charged the full fee? If not, what happened to her sounds shady. I'll remember to ALWAYS ask for and keep my receipt, just in case I need to dispute my charges later. :o

I haven't been to this spa in years and this year without my authority they charged for services that never happened. This is the second time this has happened to me with this spa. I had to order all new credit cards because of the. DON'T GO HERE.

We never charge anyone's credit card without their authorization. We do take a credit card at the time of reservation, but this is just to reserve the appointment time. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, which we inform everyone about. We will only charge a credit card if a client "no shows" their appointment with no phone call. If this person's credit card was charged for an appointment they didn't receive, it must have been because they made an appointment with us and then "no showed", and never gave us the courtesy of a phone call to cancel.

I've been to this spa 3 times now and each time has been better than the last. My first two visits I only had deep tissue massages - and they were the best massages I've ever had. And, both by different therapists, too! I didn't think In Touch could top my last two, but boy did they! The massage I got tonight was definitely the BEST in the world. She gave me the exact perfect pressure, worked all the areas I asked her to very thoroughly and had a really nice energy. I had a facial here for the first time and it was also the best facial I've ever had. I've been going to spas every month (sometimes every week) for over 25 years and I've been to the best spas around the Country. Trust me when I tell you this is an amazing staff and they make you feel welcomed, comfortable and totally take care of you. I agree that the rooms off the pool area can be a little noisy, but who cares when you've got music playing in the room and a massage therapist digging into every knot, getting rid of every kink and working MAGIC! I like it being inside a health club, because they let you use the gym for free when you go there for the spa! You will love this place and I can't wait to go back again!

Unfortunately the water was off during the time of my service so I did not get to shower before the massage which I always like to do. The spa is located inside a very busy high end GYM so the locker room is very busy and not relaxing. My service was great. However it is not quiet you can hear the instructors for the classes yelling which was a real bummer. I ended my day by having lunch at the very nice cafe it was wonderful. If you need a massage to work on a sore muscle , which I needed, I was not there to be pampered and treated like princess I had a specific problem area and she was wonderful, I can not remember her name but my sister had the same experience with her therapist I guess I am saying it is more like a physical therapy appointment than a spa experience but I did like the therapist the location the lunch and the price.

This spa is caught me by surprise. I'm very optimist and always think the best; however, I was not prepared for the wonderful experience of Intouch. Not only is the spa located in a gym, you have access to all the gyms amenities. The staff, from the front desk to the therapist were all pleasant. To top it all off, their services are so reasonably priced, I can have a weekly massage or facial. I left the spa feeling as if I were floating on air. GREAT JOB Intouch.

When in my daily life I feel stress and pressure I love going to my ladies at InTouch to help me find my zen. I love that I can go straight to the spa from work and take advantage of all of the gyms amenities. I love that I have my own personal cheers where everyone knows my name. I love that if my favorite therapist goes on vacation I can still get my weekly massage by an equally talented therapist and not feel like I'm missing out. I love the smiles and genuine feeling when the staff asks how my day was. I love that I feel comfortable enough to tell them all and they will meet me with a hug while maintaining the high standards of professionalism. Even if tempted with ridiculous discounts I would not change to another spa. I like my spa home.

Who knew that this little spa would have the best massages!!! I've been to many high-end spas and it is always hit- and-miss with the therapists. I've been to In touch several times and have had 5 or 6 different therapists and have never had a bad massage. I, obviously, have my favorites, but the massages I've received have been nothing but enjoyable! I am not a member of the gym, so I got to come and workout, have lunch in their amazing cafe, steam, shower, and then get my service! Even though the noise of the gym can be a little present at certain hours of the day, the quality of the massage and the service of the spa makes it all worth while! I hated when I spent $150 at a high-end spa for a 55 minute bad massage. In touch is sooooo worth it!

This was the worst spa experience I have ever had. The therapist argued with me when I told her it was too rough or I didn't like certain area's. It felt like I was in a dirty locker room. I had a spa package and I was shorted about 20 minutes, which was fine because it really wasn't an enjoyable experience.

I do not believe that this client was "shorted" 20 minutes. We are meticulous professionals and we give a full 30, 60 and 90 minute treatment - not a 50 minute hour like other spas.
Our locker rooms are huge, beautiful, fully appointed with towels, lotion, deoderant, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, moisturizers, etc. and are kept squeeky clean. We have full time locker room attendants constantly cleaning.
This person obviously is not an experienced "spa goer", and unfortunately did not appreciate her experience.
Give us a try, we guarantee you'll love your massage!

I booked a last minute massage at this "spa" a few weeks ago. The only reasons I would consider this a day spa is there is a sauna, steam room, plus you can use the showers. I don't really like the idea of getting a massage at a gym, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that you can use all the services of the gym on your treatment day. The actual massage wasn't worth returning.

The Spectrum Club is a very high-end, luxurious facility with state-of-the-art equipment, clean locker rooms, sauna, steamroom, indoor heated pool, yoga & pilates classes, spin classes and more!
99% of our clients tell us it was "...the best massage they've ever had" when they leave. Please give us another try! We would love to prove to you that our massages and facials are the best in town!

I am so sad to see the previous review. I have been going to spas weekly for about 7 years now. I used to frequent Burke Williams, The Four Seasons, etc... Every since I found In Touch, I don't go anywhere else. It is located inside of a very exclusive and high end gym. When you recieve any treatments at In Touch, even just a small wax, you can feel free to use any of the ammentities of the gym. That includes taking a free yoga class, pilates, swimming in a state of the art pool, or just using the sauna and steam room.
But that is not the reason I keep going back. I have never found either massages or facials that are consistantly good anywhere else. Now I have. These are the best therapists in the country. Usually, I always thought it was a hit and miss at spas. Now I can walk in and I know I will be getting the best massage or facial I have ever had. And at half the price I am used to paying. It's no wonder I have seen so many celebrities in cognito getting treatments there.
I think maybe the last reviewer was having a bad day and maybe if she had taken one of the free yoga classes, might have seen that being located in a gym isn't always a bad thing.

I was impressed with my experience with InTouch . I found the massage therapists quite educated.They definetly know what they are doing!!! They showed interest and concern. And was by far one of the best massages I've ever had. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!!!

I am sad to see the bad review. I am very picky when it comes to spa treatments.Ii have paid huge amounts of money at The Four Seasons, Burke Williams, Ojai Resort etc.... I love the fact that In Touch is inside of the Spectrum Club Gym. First of all, it is a really high end gym. It has amazing classes and a full service locker room. When I get treatments at In Touch, even if it is just a small wax, I usually take a yoga class at Spectrum and use the steam room, FREE. Most spas have high prices to pay for amenities like that, but In Touch has the most reasonable prices you can find. And the reason I keep going back, is the treatments. I have never had a better facial in my life, and the massage therapists are amazing. Usually at spas, it is a hit and miss. The massage is either great or it's just ok. And I hate the feeling of starting a massage and I know it is going to be sub-par. At In Touch, I have had the best massages I have ever recieved in my whole life. And I have traveled the world! So, I am sad to see that the last reviewer did not enjoy her herbal wrap and the fact that In Touch was in a gym. Sounds like if she would have taken one of the free yoga classes maybe she would have enjoyed her experience a little more. :)

I have been using the services at In Touch for many years now. I love that I can work out and use the steam room before my massage. Also I don't have to remember a thing because Spectrum club has all the amenities necessary to prepare for my massage and get ready for my day or night. The best aspect of this spa is their therapist selection, I have been to many of the therapists at In Touch They were all great! Recently I tried the "Salt Glow"... It was AMAZING! My skin felt so revitalized and soft, a perfect way to start my summer.
Although some locker room noises are audible from the massage rooms I discovered a wonderful room upstairs that is ultra quiet and relaxing.
Take my advice and give In Touch a try!

I had the best spa day ever at In-touch. In-Touch is located in the Spectrum Club which is a well known UP-scale fitness and health club. I felt like because I had such great service that I was really getting a great deal. I also, liked the fact that when you have any kind of service at In-Touch, you also, get a free all day pass to use the entire club. The club offers all kinds of classes such as yoga and palaties, olympic size pool, athletic courts, gym, locker room with showers, steam, rooms, and sauna. The staff was accomidating offering water or tea and explaining the facility to me. I get massages all the time and I have to say that this massage was the best one I have ever had!!! The thereapist had several years of training and experience and has been working at this spa since it opened which tells me that she is happy. The lady who did my facial was awesome. I was so relaxed and she taught me how to take care of my skin better. I was so impressed with my spa day that I purchased a package (which you get a better price) and I will be back once a week. I'm so happy that I found you guys. Thanks.

They are located at the Spectrum Club, which is basically a GYM and all the noise that comes with it. That might be why they have a mandatory 24hr cancellation (or they charge you the service to your credit card) because once you drive up, you will want to leave!!
I had a Herbal Wrap which should have been 30mins, I got a 15min HORRIBLE wrap and still charged me the full $55. TOTAL RIP OFF!! Plus, you cannot relax because you can hear the olympic side pool right outside the session room. You can hear people talking, swimming, running, way too loud!!
Don't make the same mistake I did! Stay away from this place!
