Hip Hop*

Description (basics):Class will start with a warm up and conditioning period. After that it will roll right into choreography. My choreography will change every week. If there are repeat students I will probably have them do the dance from the previous week once just for fun, but nothing new will be added on or time spent cleaning it. My warm up tends to be similar from week to week, different music but same basics. The type of music in my class is usually songs heard recently on the radio, as a characteristic of Hip Hop is to be current. A lot of my music selection is based on my mood so there is often variety make an appearance. Music will be played through the entire warm up and most of the class, except when I’m giving choreography.Style: My style is a mixture of East and West Coast Hip-Hop, having intricacies centered around grooves and swag. The jazz funk aspect of my choreography comes from “pop-hop” inspiration and is what is seen in music videos.This class is designe

Hawaiian Hula is telling a story with your hands. This 8-week "Keiki" (Hawaiian for child) Hawaiian Hula Class will have your child moving and grooving to popular Hawaiian children songs, learning about the culture, and making their own hula costumes. This flamenco class is designed to be fun, energetic, and informative for beginning flamenco dancers, age 12 and over. The class will include activities that give the students a well-rounded educational and cultural experience. The class will introduce students to flamenco through fun activities that teach them not only how to dance, but also teach them about cultural awareness, Spanish language, and the region of the world where flamenco originated. Learn the basics of club style salsa dance. Get the foundation so you and can move with style and flash at our monthly Latin Dance Nights! Salsa - Level II expands on the foundation mastered in Salsa Level 1, adding refinement to basic moves and more advanced styling for both men and women. In addition, other Latin dance styles are introduced, like casino, cha-cha-cha, and bachata, expanding the club dancers repertoire for our local Latin Dance Nights. Similar to Club Salsa 1, students should complete 2 sessions at this level before proceeding to Intermediate Salsa.
