Also known as ‘props yoga’. The passive practice of Restorative yoga is a profoundly relaxing sequence of restful, nourishing postures, breathing techniques, and simple meditations. This practice of yoga poses is supported by yoga props such as bolster pillows, folded blankets, yoga straps, yoga blocks, and more. It is predominantly practiced on the floor. Restorative Yoga provides an effective way to manage the effects of stress, relieve pain of chronic injuries, and maintain health and peace of mind. Yoga props, music, and readings are used to assist in renewing and settling your body, breath, mind, and spirit.
